Hi coffee, glad you're feeling positive Smile

Yes, temp rise this morning, so that's 4 days after my first positive opk!!! How is that possible?! Xx

coffeenut · 19/03/2015 07:56

That's great sammy!! So does that mean you ov'd yesterday? You know, I wonder whether we were stopping dtd too early too. The last couple of cycles, we dtd on the days leading up to the fertile period, then for the two days of the positive OPK and then were really erratic afterwards (ie didnt at all for the two days after the positive OPKs as I was feeling unwell last month).

mummyofonesofar · 19/03/2015 08:16

coffeenut ff needs 3 high temps to confirm ov, I am 2dpo so tomorrow will get my crosshairs and you'll get yours the day after. Glad you managed to DTD last night. I am feeling positive about this cycle I think. Was gutted we didn't drd Sunday but worked out we still had sex 4 times in 5 days leading up to ov as DTD twice on Saturday Smile chart attached for no reason......

Morning Smile

Coffee, ff needs 3 higher temps to confirm ov and add the crossthreadsSmile

Oops cross posts with MummySmile

loopylou1984 · 19/03/2015 08:19

I think so coffee, although FF has it as Monday at the moment, but kind of covered itself by saying 'it might change the results when more data is added'
If this sometimes happens to me (not always as I have other charts where temp rise happened 2 days after positive opk) then there are a lot of the last 16 cycles where we probably stopped too early! Do you think there's any reason to dtd tonight? It's probably too late by now surely? We could do with the rest! Xx

loopylou1984 · 19/03/2015 08:20

Mummy - I think that's plenty of dtd! Good luck Smile

Cariad2014 · 19/03/2015 09:04

Morning all. Sorry I've been quiet - I'm currently battling a horrendous cold. CD8 at this end (yawn) but I reckon I'm still on for ov on CD13 (my Birthday)! Thanks so much for doing the stats M. Given that atound 90% of my attempted posts seem to time out before appearing, I figure that I'm not best placed to assist on that front.

Commiserations to all those who've joined us from the March bus, but as Trixie said, this really has to be the month where we ALL get our BFPs.

Sending an enormous cwtch to Victoria. Sorry yesterday's appointment was so disappointing. I know from my own pregnancy loss experience how awful it feels to have built up all your hopes and expectations only for them to be crushed. Sending an enormous cwtch your way. You WILL get there my lovely.

Has anyone seen MrsGingerbread? We were cycle twins on the March bus but it was moving so quickly that I managed to lose her...

sammy my temp rise appeared to be two days after pos opk last month as well. So I'm also wondering if we've been stopping too soon. Although two days before ov should still be enough to get you pg in theory? This month I'm going to try to not dtd until I see a pos or almost pos opk then continue until ff confirms ov. Yes it's risky but if figure it's worth a try.

Last month ff put ov on the same day as pos opk for me which was the last day we dtd, but the temps can sometimes be subjective as it did look like the rise was actually two days afterwards.....my chart is a bit unlike most I've seen in that my pre ov temps aren't significantly different to post ov, only just enough of a rise to show ov has happened (a rise of about 0.15 degrees not the 0.2 plus that everyone else gets) making it a bit tricky to decipher! Not sure whether my thermometer is a bit dicky but I'm reluctant to buy another in case the problem its me! This months chart looks the same so far though...

I'm feeling surprisingly laid back about the whole thing this month, it's nice not to be obsessing about when to start & harassing DP! not yet anyway

loopylou1984 · 19/03/2015 09:27

Dizzy - have you had a progesterone test? I know temps might be lower post ov if progesterone is low. It also might be completely normal for you though, I'm no expert and hope I haven't worried you. It was just something I have seen suggested on another thread. X

DizzyNorthernBird · 19/03/2015 09:28

Fx you feel better soon cariad.

Where is wotsits my other cycle buddy?

tessiegirl · 19/03/2015 09:29

Morning everyone!

Coffee sorry you rowed with your DH!! Are you ok now? Very pleased you still managed to dtd in time! Smile

mummy I think you have still timed dtd well!! Remember they say dtd in the lead up to ovulation is crucial....

Yes Sammy, if you saw a temp rise today then that means you ovulated yesterday....congrats!!

Cariad sorry you have a horrible cold, hope you feel better soon. Ovulation on your birthday has to be good luck, surely?!

Plodding along on CD9 here...thought I better had start temping again but the cat woke us up at 4am then I remembered temp sat on the toilet!! Blush Will have to try and remember tomorrow morning....

victoria401 · 19/03/2015 10:25

Hi cariad thanks for the cwtch, I won't come too close tho ;-) hope you feel better soon. Had it last week, it was horrid!

I feel fine about the cancelled cycle now, I only knew about it 2 data before so it kind of just feels like those 2 days were a dream or something. Had wine last night!

So will just have to old fashioned dtd this month. Must not get hopes up about dh's highest morphology results ever.... Must not....

mummyofonesofar · 19/03/2015 11:17

I found this When to test calculator - should help me and other early testers to stop being silly!

Sweets27 · 19/03/2015 11:31

Morning ladies! Smile

sammy, all this temping malarkey is really beyond me but it does sound as though it might still be worth dtd tonight. As with you and coffeenut, I think in the last couple of cycles I may have stopped a bit early too. DTD last night and this morning after Monday's peak OPK, so I'm hoping I've kept going long enough this month. Fingers SO tightly crossed that it works and we get our BFPs in a couple of weeks' time!

Dizzy, so glad you are feeling relaxed about it all this month Smile sometimes that's so hard to achieve!

mummy, I love that calculator. That said, so far I've not even POAS. I think I'd always rather have AF come along than see a BFN, which would be more disheartening, so I've just waited til AF is due. This month if it doesn't turn up, I'll test the day after.

DizzyMerry · 19/03/2015 11:44

Morning all!
Have read back and just caught up. Good to see positive vibes on the bus. I had my first reflexology session yesterday and it was lovely and relaxing. I could feel twitches and cramps around my abdomen area. She said a have a few slight problem areas; neck, shoulders and ovaries. I do get stiffness in my neck and shoulders. She said my ears had been blocked and this was true as they were from Mother's Day and a couple of days after that. She could also tell that I had some digestive problems. I didn't tell her any of this so it was fascinating. I had pain and cramping in my abdomen area, especially the right side. I will be having weekly treatments and will see how it goes.
Sweets I only test after AF is at least a week late as it is crushing to see a BFN
Cd7 and no clue when I ovulate so will start testing from tomorrow and dtd from tomorrow also

loopylou1984 · 19/03/2015 11:47

I'll try to dtd tonight then, although dh is always home late and tired on Thursdays so it might not happen!

I hate seeing bfns too! As I'm temping now I won't test until I'm late, and even then only if my temp is still high. Cx

Sweets27 · 19/03/2015 11:53

merry I'm impressed at your willpower waiting a week after AF! I might end up doing the same, though, if AF is ever late - I think I'm actually quite scared of POAS...

DizzyMerry · 19/03/2015 11:57

sweet we were ttc for 3 years with DD and I was obsessed with it all! I had to stop for my own sanity. I was 14 days late when I tested with DD but that was because my previous cycle was 39 days so I didn't know what was going on

mummyofonesofar · 19/03/2015 12:10

Last month I actually poas at 5dpo - it was absolute craziness - will be much better behaved this month!

coffeenut · 19/03/2015 12:25

thanks mummy and spinning ... so I might have a chart with a crosshair to post in a few days time!

mummy I am also one of those crazy ppl who test at 5DPO. Not this month!!

All my fingers crossed victoria you never know!

DH and I all good now thanks tessie. Was ridiculously trivial but have felt a bit emotional over the last few days, prob ov hormones.

sweets yes fingers crossed that you, me and sammy have kept going long enough this cycle!!!

loopylou1984 · 19/03/2015 17:26

Was it this thread we were discussing time off for fertility appointments? I looked the policy for my work up today, and it says for time off for investigations etc. you can take it under the terms for medical appointments (which basically says you can take it off but have to agree it with your manager, and try to take it at the beginning or end of the day), and for IVF we can have up to 5 days paid leave in each 12 month period, after that we would have to take holiday/unpaid leave.... So not bad I thought. Xx

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 19/03/2015 18:22

I forgot to look at mine, but we allowed time off for appointments if refered by the Dr, though not sure if I would want to tell people if that's what I'm doing. We have flexi time so have been using that for the scan and blood tests.
I'm on cd 11 and my cm is brown Confused. Not sure what that's all about.

loopylou1984 · 19/03/2015 18:29

That seems odd purple, brown is usually old blood. Was af slow this month? Could be some residual if the flow wasn't heavy I guess? Xx

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 19/03/2015 19:07

Thanks sammy that's what I thought it might be, just seems odd seeing as it's a week after AF has gone. And of course now in the fertile window so very annoying!
