tessie read on and noticed your update. Sorry that sounds like a rubbish start to your evening. Glad you managed to have a break later in the eve from TTC/work chat. It takes over sometimes and it's so important just to do things outwith it. Hope you are feeling a bit more today

I think my DH thought it would happen straight away....now he is realising that may not be the case and we may have a very long journey ahead. He even spoke about not trying for the months when the baby would be born the end of the school year - I don't think so!!!!!

Thanks Sparkly Yes, poor DH is under so much pressure at work and ttc pressure at home...I hope we have cleared the air now. Sometimes a good argument is just what you need!

Hope so too Tessie naively I think we all go in to TTC thinking it will happen right away.. And yes it does for some, but it can be a long journey too obviously, maybe he wasn't at all prepared for that when you started out and he's struggling with it a bit, suppose that's natural and you WILL get there. This is a very lucky bus

Tessie so difficult when your OH takes a while to realise that it won't necessarily happen in Month 1. Mine is the same, and that's in spite of the fact that I (a) warned him from about October that when we started trying in January, it'd take ages for my hormones to rebalance after off the pill, and (b) the proceeded to come of the pill in October and not tell him I'd done it til end December. I know, naughty me but I was so desperate to start trying, and I knew he'd expect results straight away so I just wanted to save him the extra 2 months of waiting...

We've already dtd CD8 CD10 CD11 CD13, today will be CD14 and I think based on yesterday's peak OPK I've probably ov'd today. Hmm, might try to do tomorrow CD15 as well... unlucky DH!

I really need a coffee today but being strong! Was up late last night, had a row with dh (v trivial!). Was a bit worried as felt ov yest/today was possible but really didnt feel like touching him let alone dtd. Anyway, he apologized luckily as temp went right up this morning so lucky we did dtd in the end. Ff still hasnt put ov in yet ... i guess it needs a few more temps to accurately estimate?

Anyway will read back thru the thread properly to catch up (while sipping my weak tea )

crème I think you ovulate 12-36 hours after the positive opk. So if you had a positive last night, you could ov today or in the next day or so?
