Acronyms List:

Most of these can be found on the MN (mumsnet) acronyms list (at top of this page), but I thought it would be useful to post the main ones here. Feel free to add any more if you want to Smile

ttc = trying to conceive

bc = birth control

bf = breastfeed/breastfed/breastfeeding

af = 'aunt flo' (period)

cd = cycle day (cd1 being 1st day of period)

opk = ovulation predictor kit

ewcm = egg-white cervical mucus

cbfm = clear blue fertility monitor

ov = ovulation/ovulate

dpo = days past ovulation

dtd = 'do the deed' (Have sex)

poas ='pee on a stick' (do a pregnancy test)

hpt = home pregnancy test

ic = internet cheapie(refers to either opk or hpt)

FRer = First Response Pregnancy test (THE pregnancy test)

bfn = big fat positive/negative (on a pregnancy test)

mc/mmc = miscarriage/missed miscarriage

cp = chemical pregnancy

dc/dd/ds/dh/dp/dmil = dear child/daughter/son/husband/partner/mil etc
