MrsB, I reckon you're 10dpo.

Creme, here are your delectable cervixes

Spinning, you minx, it is you who has sex multiple times in a day. Last month you jumped DH three times in one day! Grin

spinningirl10 · 04/03/2015 20:50

Haha Purdey, you have a better memory than me! We're not usually at it that much honest!! Smile

spinningirl10 · 04/03/2015 20:51

Purdey, are you coming up to ov time now?

loopylou1984 · 04/03/2015 20:51

Hi Lucie - so are you on the nhs waiting list but having private treatment in the mean time?
We're thinking of doing that, but I'm not sure how to find out if that is ok with the nhs in my area? I'm reluctant to miss out on our nhs try... Xx

mrsb0710 · 04/03/2015 20:54

So I'm still in with a chance?

Thanks for the advice ladies. I shall update either way. Shall hold off until the weekend until poas again.

Think I'm just a bit Sad as my new job involves processing obstetric paperwork. Seeing US reports today got to me a little.

juneybean · 04/03/2015 20:55

Lovelies... sorry for not catching up yet been in a grump all day. Because I can't find another fella by next week have found a cheaper donor on the sperm bank website and have ordered more frozen travelers to come. I feel much better using the sperm bank sperm and if it doesn't work I'll look at how I can find a nice clean student.

Thanks for that link Purdey... Kinda gross and interesting at the same time!
I actually felt my cervix for the first time ever today.... Is it lower during af? I don't think my fingers are long enough to find it at other times! X

GlitteryLipgloss1 · 04/03/2015 21:00

Hi gals congrats on the BFP's! Thanks
Sorry to those who have been caught by AF. The stinking trog bitch from hell.

Hoping we have done enough this month. We started on cd8 then every other day to CD20. I got a static smiley face cd19. Have been having slight cramps and sore tits today. Probably doesn't mean much probably just my imagination. I am exhausted. Sacked off Zumba tonight to loaf and watch ITVbe.

Sad

Hope your all ok xxxxx

PurdeyBirdie · 04/03/2015 21:02

Lucie, hurrah for cheap drugs! And yippee for NHS IVF! Are you keeping your Czech round secret? I would. How old are you, Lucie? How low was your AMH?

Kissing, is failure to launch a regular issue or was it a one off?

kissinggiraffe · 04/03/2015 21:03

sparkle our one successful dtd was 3 days before positive opk. Pretty sure oh doesn't have great sperm so doubt they would have lasted long enough to meet the egg......
I think the pressure is getting to us. DC 3 took a couple of years to conceive and it almost spelt the end of our relationship.
We don't have much time either. I am needing an operation that I can't put on hold indefinitely so we are going to keep trying until August then accept that we won't have a 4th.

I know we are lucky to have 3 children but the thought of not having #4 is quite frankly heartbreaking.

kissinggiraffe · 04/03/2015 21:05

It's becoming more and more regular purdey

PurdeyBirdie · 04/03/2015 21:06

Spinning, I wish Hmm I'm summat like CD5 (I'm not temping until I absolutely have to; maybe CD9) and, as I have come off Clomid, I expect to ov on the same day as I used to (CD15). I said I was going to give up charting my temps but seeing as this is my first natural cycle in five months I need to reassure myself that I ovulate.

PurdeyBirdie · 04/03/2015 21:09

Kissing, do you have any hunches why DC3 took so long to conceive? Do you suspect you may simply not be having enough sex at the right time (that's a genuine question; I'm not being condescending)? Are you sure you ovulate every month? How long did it take you to conceive your first two tots?

Nomio230 · 04/03/2015 21:10

Lucie, sounds exciting! I would definitely not tell your Dr that you are having IVF abroad. As far as I understand, you are not eligible for NHS help if you have previously had IVF.

Juney, I am pleased you managed to find some tadpoles. Does each donor set their own prices? Have you had to go for a fat dwarf this time round to get it cheaper?!

I am in a terrible mood today. I feel like a right grumpy cow, but also just want to cry. I think it is because the baby from my CP would have been due tomorrow. Sad

PurdeyBirdie · 04/03/2015 21:10

Spinning, please can I have the recipe for those granola bars? Are they calorific despite the dearth of sugar?

GlitteryLipgloss1 · 04/03/2015 21:10

Nomio not sure how the prices are done, but I suspect so... Wink he seems okay on paper so not sure why he's cheaper, maybe his little dudes are slower than the others?! With the price of his I've been able to buy four straws 0.4ml of MOT5 (which means in 1ml sample motility is 5-9million)

Evening ladies! Just taken me like forever to read through all of these new messages!

It's my first day back at work today after ten days off and I have so not missed waking at 5.30 and getting home at half 8 it's so draining.

Hope everyone is well, Juney I can't believe what that guy said to u what a sleeze! But glad u have found some new spermies :)

Hope everyone else is well this evening xx

kissinggiraffe · 04/03/2015 21:16

1st was conceived whilst on the pill.
2nd was conceived 1st cycle trying. There is a 10 year gap between DC2 and DC3 so the only noticeable difference was age! I'm 35 now so not ancient but I was only 18 first time round!
We had lots of sex for the first year ttc #3 but then things got tough and it really nearly tore us apart. It's a miracle we conceived her at all to be honest.

Not certain that I ov every month I don't temp. Used opks for the first time this cycle and got a positive but I know that doesn't actually mean ov....
Need to put this month behind me and get positive.

juneybean · 04/03/2015 21:17

Sorry you're feeling grumpy Nomio, it's hard not to look at dates isn't it? :(

Thanks ava, sorry you've had such a long day!

Talking of bars, I want to try and make my own nakd cocoa delight bars.

Oh crikey, so many of us in grumps today. Mine was terrible this morning and I took it out on MaMa, which I am very sorry for Sad Thanks I also shouted at an elderly lady this afternoon on our way home from the ducks. She keeps her four dogs outside every single minute of every single day and they make an horrific din whenever we walk past. It frightens my nipper to death. Anyway, I espied her in her garden and went a bit Rambo on her ass. Th'usband: 'I just know that can't have made you feel good about yourself. Why did you have to do that?' So then I felt really bad and spent the afternoon reflecting on how much of a turd I have been the past couple of days Sad

But...Nomio, you have just made me howl with laughter - proper hooted - at your fat dwarf comment Grin I am sorry you are so blue and I hope tomorrow comes and goes very quickly and without angst Thanks

spinningirl10 · 04/03/2015 21:18

Purdey, here you go:
Date and Oat Bars
Makes 20 bars (about 3×1 inches big)

– 400g of oats

– 20 medjool dates (400g)

– 300ml of water

– 200g of raisins

– 100g of sunflower seeds

– 3 tablespoons of coconut oil

– 4 tablespoons of chia seeds with 16 tablespoons of water

– 2 teaspoons of cinnamon

Start by pre-heating the oven to 200C

Then combine the chia seeds and water in a mug. Let this mix sit for about ten minutes until a gel forms. While the chia gel forms, pit the dates and place them in a saucepan with the coconut oil. Allow the dates and coconut oil to melt for about five minutes – until the dates are nice and soft.

Next, place the dates and coconut oil into a blender with the water and blend until a smooth paste forms.

Add the oats, sunflower seeds, raisins and cinnamon to a mixing bowl and stir in the date mix. Then once the chia gel has formed stir this into the mix too.

Line a baking tray (about 6×9 inches) with baking paper, or grease it with coconut oil. Then pour the granola bar mix into it the baking tray and spread it evenly across.

Place the tray in the oven for about 35 minutes, until the top turns golden. At this point take the tray out of the oven and leave it to cool for about 15 minutes, before cutting it into bars – this is important for getting them to set!

Desperately skim reading to catch up!

sparkly good effort this week, looks like you're well on track for your March bfp!

dojo fx it's implantation and not AF. No AF symptoms here yet but just realised it would be due Saturday not Friday like I had thought, so will see spotting from tomorrow myself if it's coming.

Loving the dinner talk. , I've had a very healthy day.

Breakfast~ home made nut granola with natural yogurt and blueberries
Lunch ~ kale (yep, kale), feta and avocado salad sprinkled with seeds
Dinner ~ Harissa baked chicken breast with corn salsa and quinoa(!)

..........but now I've gone and bloody ruined it all by eating a whole bag of vise versas Hmm

juneybean · 04/03/2015 21:20
