Hi girls! Just been catching up but not participating. Only dtd once this entire cycle on 2dpo. At least I know I can't be preg so not symptom spotting and its relaxing :-D not had a month off since month of hsg in Sept.

I joined mama31's thread a year ago now when I started tests too. The thread is still going, although I have started the last 2 of them, and mama only pops her head in occasionaly to congratulate or comiserate a long timer. I think she's on a long waiting list for ivf.

Sorry plan C turned out to be a dick June fingers crossed you find a genuine donor soon x

cremedecacao · 04/03/2015 18:33

Purdey, no?! Enlighten me!

tessiegirl · 04/03/2015 18:36

Egypt sounds lovely Heir, I went to Egypt for a day once! Hard to believe, I know!

I thought you like eggs Purdey or is it just the boiled ones? Your lamb and sausage stew sounds very nice!!

tessiegirl · 04/03/2015 18:38
  • Sorry - or is it just the boiled ones you don't like?
spinningirl10 · 04/03/2015 18:41

Ooh there's some yummy dinners tonight Grin
Who was having homemade baked beans, sorry I forgot who but are they Ella's recipe?

Sparkly, I use coconut milk in the curry, it's gorgeous.

Genni, no they didn't say where in my cycle I should be for the scan. I will mention it before hand though.

Sammy, sorry you're feeling down, I always feel better when af buggers off and you can start again.

Heir, pleased you had a good holiday. And plenty of sex, hope it brings your bfp.

Choccy had such a terrible time. I really hope she gets her baby soon. I'm sure she'll pop in and tell us if she has good news.

I'm just shoving frozen cordon bleus and chips in the oven now...I refuse to feel guilty that they are not very healthy as we have been so good at eating well lately and deserve a not so good night. We will have it with spinach and broccoli so that kind of makes up for the naughtiness! Hmm I'm going to bloody well enjoy it!

CoffeeTwo · 04/03/2015 19:00

Evening all!

Boris when we started actively ttc March would have been my due date too. It's sobering being here without even a bfp isn't it. But I'm hopeful for all of us.

Purdey caramel chew chew is my favourite toooo! Yum.

We're also having bbq pulled pork wraps for tea. Got a flashing smiley this morning so we'll need our energy Grin

Sparkly123 · 04/03/2015 19:06

Spinning me too. Love coconut milk! What's your take on dtd without gaps in between? You tend to go for it don't you? We have done 7 days in a row now. Confused

mummyofonesofar · 04/03/2015 19:16

Can I have some help please. Will be using my CB dial hormone opk this month and I have no idea when to start. It says if you had erratic cycles then to go by your last one but I really don't feel like last cycle will every happen again. Here are my cycles:
When does anyone who uses these think I should start using them?

Hi ladies. Any advice/guidance you can give would be much appreciated.

#TTC 1 #29 yrs old #cycle 2 after mmc @ Xmas

I had a pos OPK on CD 17, now am on CD 28. Did a FRER last night, bfn. Did a chemist own brand this morning and neg.

Don't really have my usual pms symtoms of lower back ache and wanting to kill someone.
Have had mild cramping on and off and a few spots of pink blood Monday.

What do you think? Still in with a chance? Id be about 11/12 dpo.

spinningirl10 · 04/03/2015 19:27

Sparkly we don't manage anywhere near as much as you! We did the 2 days before I got a positive opk, missed that day because of performance issues and did the next 2 days. That's good for us! Won't be any tonight as dp is working. I think that if your dh's sperm are good then there's no problem with everyday and that's what I would do if dp was up for it. You usually do smep dont you? I actually think it's all down to luck and it's about bloody time we got our luckGrin

spinningirl10 · 04/03/2015 19:29

Oh and sparkly I've made granola bars today with seeds and dates, no sugar. They're really tastySmile

Sparkly123 · 04/03/2015 19:49

mummy if I were you I would start from CD 8/9. You want to make sure your shortest cycle would be covered too. Are you doing the CB trial? Couldn't remember if you are or not.

Hi mrsb how long are your cycles normally? I would say it's too early for testing.

Spinning thanks! I may be getting you confused with someone else on here who was dtd twice a day etc!! I always think the more the better?! Isn't that what people do when TTC? Have lots of sex!! Ha. Luck yes.. Where is it?! I read recently some quote somewhere which basically said to stop "wishing" and "hoping".. And have faith.. So I'm doing that this cycle!! (So far..! )
Oh granola bars sound good! I need to get making all these goodies!!

mrsb0710 · 04/03/2015 19:52

Hi sparkly. I'm not quite sure about my cycles, as the first one off implant I got my BFP. I think I tested at 14 dpo.
And then I had my mmc and it was about 5 weeks before the next af.
I'm thinking they're about 30/32 days so maybe its still too early. Trying not to get my hopes up though.

How goes your ai? I've been skim reading threads, but its hard to keep up. I cant have my phone on me in the new job. Shock! They actually want us to do work. Haha

spinningirl10 · 04/03/2015 19:58

We dtd twice on the day before my positive, we were celebrating having an empty houseGrin

mummyofonesofar · 04/03/2015 20:05

Thanks juney and Yes sparkly* I'm on CB trail. Ok will start on cd 9 I know I've not paid for them but want to have enough for another cycle of I can.

DP is in a right grump tonight - annoyed with his mum and falling out with me. Plus DS went to bed crying because he was tired - so sleep then instead of shouting!! Ok rant over.

spinningirl10 · 04/03/2015 20:16

Mrsb, nice to see you. Yes I would say you're still in with a chance. Implantation doesn't always happen at the same time. Do you temp?

kissinggiraffe · 04/03/2015 20:26

Ladies, I can't keep up!

Congrats to bfps.
Sorry for af's. Onwards and upwards.

This won't be our month. We only dtd once. ONCE......and it was too early. We tried one more time during fertile window but it was a flop. Literally!
I'm so bloody annoyed that we can't seem to get our act together. We know we need to dtd but something always seems to get in the way.
This is cycle 5 and I can honestly say we haven't put anywhere near enough effort into any cycle so far.
At least I won't spend the next 2 weeks driving myself crazy with imaginary symptoms....

mrsb0710 · 04/03/2015 20:30

Hi spinning No, but I think I will start if I get af. I'm also on the cb trial, so that will help if I don't get my bfp.
I feel bad being anxious about it, when there are others here who have waited/are waiting such a long time.

lucieloos · 04/03/2015 20:38

Hi Spinning (and everyone else) yes I'm still half lurking about. The ivf plans are going well. I have now received my protocol and prescription and have sourced the best place to get all my medication (pharmacy in Czech) It comes to £650 altogether which saves a couple of hundred pounds on the cheapest place that I found in the UK. I'm just waiting for AF to arrive this month which should be the weekend after next and then I'm going to order it all and we will officially be starting it all! I'm going to book in an endo scratch on my next cycle as well as its meant to help implantation.

Had a telephone consultation with my gp today to go over my test results. She said everything is fine with me and they show that I am ovulating. She said my AMH was a little low but she isn't keen on that particular blood test and doesn't have that much faith in it. She knows a lot of people with low amhs that have got pregnant naturally. She said it was probably down to the low motility factor and has agreed to refer us for ivf. She confirmed that it was a 12 month wait for the initial appt Hmm I've put my name down but really hope I will be pregnant before that comes around!

Sparkly123 · 04/03/2015 20:43

So is this your second cycle since Mrsb ? Yeh I would think it's prob too early. Hang tight! Flowers

Spinning ah yes that's right! I forgot it was YOU after all enjoying student free time!!

mummy Mmm not the best night then!? Flowers hope things have calmed down now. And you won't need the CB sticks next cycle.. You will have a BFP by then!!Grin

Kissing you sure that one time wasn't in the window? You never know...!! Sorry you are feeling frustrated, it's so hard to put all the effort in though.. It's hard to fit it all in sometimes, don't give yourself a hard time. It will happen! Just even try next cycle to add even one more time in and you will feel better you are making progress. Sending positive thoughts to you! Flowers

spinningirl10 · 04/03/2015 20:48

Lucie, so pleased to hear that it's all happening soon for you. The meds are expensive but as you say, cheaper there than here. I shall have to google the endo scratch as I've not heard of that. I am keeping everything crossed that you get your bfp before you get to the nhs treatment.

Mrsb, don't feel bad about being anxious, we all do it no matter how long we've been trying.

Kissing, sorry this isn't your month. Dp and I have problems sometimes at ov time so you have my sympathy.
