Talking of food, Sparkly I forgot to respond to your co-yo ice cream, what a price!! It annoys me that these things are so ridiculously expensive when some people have no choice but to be dairy free! I eat a little dairy so I'll stick with total yoghurt.

We're having fajitas for dinner, love a bit of Jamie's jerk seasoning on butternut squash.

CD18 here and no temp rise yet, quite a dip yesterday so was expecting it to spike today and nothing. Positive opks on CD15 and 16 then back to negative so ov should have been yesterday. Wondering if an intense training session on Saturday could have bugged up the hormones. Cross your fingers for a lovely temp rise for me tomorrow please.

Love working from home but don't have a proper desk chair so always end up with a achey back after 8hrs on our metal dining chairs.

Dinner tonight is a bit of mezze. Focaccia from Saturday, cheese, roasted peppers, humus. Need to pick up some cooked ham as I should avoid Parma ham and the cured meats. Then dessert is homemade rice pudding which I made yesterday evening.

Cd16 and still no ov... Oh well

Hi all, just read through all the updates on the last bus and felt the need to comment on the whole std convo. Both myself and dh got tested when we got together 2 and a half years ago, and we were clear. However, it's something that I think mummy said that caught my attention- apologies if it wasn't you mummy, but did you say that your partner had genital warts, and the doctor said that if you caught them, they would make you infertile and give you cancer? This isn't true! Genital warts are caused by the hpv virus, of which there are over 40 different types.Only 2 of these types cause warts. 2 different, unrelated types can cause cervical cancer. Genital warts are generally harmless and are not linked to infertility. The cancer causing types are also not related to infertility, but the treatment for cervical cancer can cause fertility issues. How could your gp be so misinformed?

dojo why are you avoiding cured meat and Parma ham? is this a ttc rule I missed?

hair I know it's so early and I probably could eat it as I haven't got a bfp (yet ) but looking through the books it says to avoid cured meats when pg. So I'm only be cautious and getting into the mind set of what to avoid. If AF does turn up I'll be having poached eggs with runny yolks, pate, goats cheese, medium rare beef and a bucket of wine on my birthday on 11th. (I don't really want all that stuff, I would rather have the BFP )

Hello ladies, not sure if anyone remembers but I was on this bus about 3 threads ago! I came off because I am waiting on a small op and was told by GP not to TTC until that is sorted. I still have a read every now and then though. I recognise a few names from the Feb bus.
This week is when AF is due and whilst it's a relief in a way not to be symptom spotting, I feel a bit disappointed that i won't be needing to POAS tomorrow onwards!

I think I am due on at the end of the week. Have got the standard sore boobs and I am really tired today but that's it really! Nothing exciting and feel like I am going to get AF soon! X
