Just wondering what your very first indications were? It's way too early for me to test but I've got tender boobs which is not typical for me during my cycle and period type cramps, and again not typical for me.

I am probably clutching at a million straws but am interested in your experiences.

For me I woke up and noticed a metallic taste in my mouth, was very distinctive and didn't go away. Had a gut feeling and did a test, was 3 to 4 days before af was due and I'm now 10 weeks. Proper sore boobs and nausea didnt turn up until 5-6 weeks. But this is my second.

Porchrules · 22/02/2015 11:42

It's me again! I was wisely advised by a few lovely people to retest the next morning after a very very faint positive on an ic. I have done and thought I could share the progression. Looking good so far as it's getting darker and still only 12dpo so fx it will stick and show even better. Is it too soon to go to the docs tomorrow at 13dpo if there's still a line in the morning? I've got a day off work so seems convenient but don't want to look daft (or tempt fate Blush when technically I'm not late for af yet??

I would go if it was me. Do test in the morning maybe & keep enough of the urine to bring as a sample for doc to do their own test with their own kit.

If for no other reason than to get yourself started in the process & get advice Smile.

Woo-hoo for you Smile Smile Smile.

Porchrules · 22/02/2015 12:17

Thanks Nessie. It's good to have another set of eyes and ears! Are you in the 2ww still?

momwhereismy · 22/02/2015 12:33

Are the faint lines coming up immediately or after awhile? Sorry to put a dampner on things!

Nessie100 · 22/02/2015 12:35

My heart tells me I am. My head telling me its not a viable one due to pain low down.

Hopefully you get good news tomorrow Smile

Oysterbabe · 22/02/2015 12:42

Add excessive salivation to my list of symptoms.

I think it's good for me to keep track so that when my period starts next Saturday I'll know for sure that I've lost the plot and when I have another 2ww 2 weeks after that I can remind myself about them and not get my hopes up.

I keep telling myself it's for the best if I'm not upduffed anyway. My wedding is in 2 months then off to Barbados on honeymoon. I'd obviously love to do it all with a teeny passenger but will enjoy the champagne and cocktails if not.

Nessie100 · 22/02/2015 12:50

You never know Oysterbabe, you could have a passenger Smile

Oysterbabe · 22/02/2015 13:02

Thanks! There's always hope while AF stays away I suppose.
My OH is so incredibly broody, I'm just longing to see his face when I can say those magic words "It's positive!"

Porchrules · 22/02/2015 13:05

They come up within the ten minutes that the pack says to wait, but not immediately, mom. Why?

Porchrules · 22/02/2015 13:07

Good luck oyster - everything crossed for you. Nessie you never know, the pains could be implantation?

Nessie100 · 22/02/2015 13:36

Maybe Porchrules, but just feel wrong.

Will wait & see.

But if some of us get a good result then its a good thing Smile

Porchrules · 22/02/2015 13:37

Ok so after spending the last half hour convincing myself I'm not pregnant, I found one of these lurking in a drawer from last month and just did it, despite it not being fmu or even two hours since last wee... I have used these for 6 months and they're always horrifyingly, startlingly blank when negative. The second line came up in less than 1 minute... So I'm thinking it might be alright after all? I'm so sorry for my endless neuroses. My poor DH needs a break and I need to put google away now I think.

Very early signs you might be pregnant.
Oysterbabe · 22/02/2015 13:42

That's positive for sure. Huge congrats!!!

My Google search history is something like:
[Insert anything my body has done in the last week] early pregnancy

Patatas · 22/02/2015 13:49

Fingers crossed for all ladies waiting to find out and big congratulations to those that are.

My first symptom was probably a week after dtd, really bad cramping stomach pains on one side, then I kept going light headed. Sickness started the day after the positive result.

Porchrules · 22/02/2015 13:49

I have huge search history paranoia as I'm on a pad my school gave me.... Must erase search history before handing it over to a yr7 to research Shakespeare... "Er, miss, are you knocked up?" I need to stop being so ridiculous - I literally just found an ancient mumsnet feed saying how unreliable blue tests are and they give false negs all the time etc... So my DH has sent me to super drug to get a pink one before he hurls aforementioned pad into the gutter!!

Nessie100 · 22/02/2015 13:57

Ha ha, brilliant Porchrules Grin.

Thanks for the giggle, can just imagine the students!!!

Paperblank · 22/02/2015 14:22

Yay for porchrules

Sickness! So much nausea. Also threw up when served up fish and chips which I love! Also very Tired. This was about 2 weeks after conception. It was all the above that made me do the test.

Porchrules · 22/02/2015 14:32

Thanks paper! Everything crossed for everyone in here. Xxx

momwhereismy · 22/02/2015 21:07

Fantastic news porch, that's def a positive eeeek. Get thee to a doctor.
Nessie any sign of u going off coffee yet.

No sign of AF but feel it making way down, wish it just come now cause there's always a bit of hope!

Nessie100 · 22/02/2015 21:18

You still have few days yet til due mom?

Was bit dodgy round coffee this morning, but no outright refusal yet. Did test this am but negative. Course if it was implantation yesterday I can still slightly hold out hope for few more days & test again then.

Oh, the pressure ok hope Sad

momwhereismy · 22/02/2015 21:34

Keep the hope Nessie :)

Pixieperson · 22/02/2015 22:09

A huge thank you to all of you on this thread, reading through has really helped to reassure me that I'm not losing my marbles with symptom spotting. Smile

I've had dizziness (at 3-4dpo), intermittent nausea (last 2 days), cramps (10dpo), a weird metallic taste, and just realised reading this that my hormonal chin spots (one in particular that DH calls Brian!) have not made their usual appearance, so everything crossed for a BFP soon.

Oysterbabe · 22/02/2015 22:31

Not losing your marbles Pixie, all us symptom spotters are the same.
My list for this month in order I felt (imagined) them:
Cramps
Nausea
Wind
Headaches
Tiredness
Waking up really, really early
Heightened sense of smell
Excessive salivation

I feel like I'm just sat around waiting for my body to do something. I'm looking forward to finding out and having two weeks of sanity after that!
