Trixie, that is interesting feedback. We used icsi and got 100% fertilisation so there is always that option if you need it but I think I would rather have your results of getting 8 embryos to blast and freezing! I have no doubt you will have success from that batch. It's all just a matter of time for you. I know it's hard when you see others around you getting pregnant and especially close family when you want it so badly but believe me your baby is in that batch! My UK consultant told me that success rates for transferring two blasts is 65% and for one is around 30%. I would go with two every time as would see twins as a blessing.

I am starting stimms next week and literally cannot wait. I've made my decision already and I'm going to freeze anything and go back early September for the frozen transfer. I just feel a lot happier doing it that way.

I just looked up Purdie and her last post was last Wednesday on the a/n thread but looks like they all had a bit of an argument so maybe she's just taking a few days out because of that.

Maybe it was bad luck Sammy but I think if we had to go for another fresh cycle I would be worried about getting a lower fertilisation rate so I guess we would consider ICSI, hopefully won't come to that though. It makes me feel better what your clinic said about FET, mine said FET seems to work better for some women. Brilliant that your appetite is returning.

Thanks Lucie, forgot to say before, I think that anything that is going to help you be positive and relaxed is really good. I may look into hypnotherapy myself. I have used relaxation CDs in the past and found that they helped.

I think I overacted last night but it really upset me, just need to accept it I guess. It is a good thing that DSIL is including my DM in her pregnancy. I am really happy for DB and DSIL and can't wait to be an Auntie. It's just hard to control the jealousy sometimes. That timing sucks Sammy, must have been hard. It will be us soon though.

The consultant said that with 2 back the chance of twins is only 25%, I would absolutely love twins though so I think we would definitely be tempted to go for 2 this time - exciting

After over a week of eating junk and drinking too much wine I am going for as clean a diet as possible between now and September (with the odd cheat day because you can't be good all the time) I was reading up on foods that lower adrenaline production (following on from what you said Lucie) and apparently foods high in Vitamin C are good as well as apricots, spinach, bananas, avocados, fish and sweet potatoes.

Of course not Trixie, you guys are my friends now, I'll definitely be sticking around

Trixie I'm so much better now, and so pleased we didn't do the transfer!

AF arrived yesterday so am bookin in for a scan on Tuesday to see how things are looking, then we'll decide on a plan. By my calculations I think FET will be around the end of August or the 1st September. How are you doing? Xx

Hello sorry I haven't posted for a bit. I will be sticking around too trixie. We are all in this together and hopefully we will all get pregnant together. I am due to start stimms towards the end of this week just impatiently waiting for af to arrive now. Really hope you can get going with your transfer Sammy.

Ummm well hoping to start stimms end of this week and then the following week will be dreaded scan week and then out to Czech the week after that so just over 2 weeks providing everything goes well this time!

Great news that you're feeling better and AF arrived Sammy, hope your scan is ok.

Lucie I am crossing everything for you too. Remember that you are doing things differently this time and try and focus on being as positive as possible (easier said than done!)

All pretty boring here, AF is due on 8 August and have my counselling session at the clinic on 10 August (it's included in the price of treatment so may as well have it) will book in for my pre FET nurse appointment then.

Not much to report here. Also trying to relax and take a bit of a break from TTC though that said I did make sure we DTD a few times around ov time.....

Have booked my nurses appointment for 19 August which makes my FET feel a little bit closer
