Be careful with those clear blue tests kaly especially if you took it out of the bin 3 hours later as they are notorious for evaporation lines unfortunately. You need to get a pink line test like a frer to know for sure.

The Clear blue test was the one I checked straight away, the one I did where I got it out of the bin was a pink test.

Thanks for your wise words Purdie, if it is a no then tomorrow will be for despairing and then it will be onwards and upwards with a few months off to recover (and save!) before a frozen cycle.

Sammy, I'm feeling a little bloated still. My work skirt definitely feels a bit tight but then I have been sat around and over eating a bit for the last week! I am still getting some cramping/discomfort which feels like what I had in the days after collection, no idea what is going on in there. Don't really have anything in the way of pregnancy symptoms. I really hope you get some frosties, I'm sure you will.

Back at work and didn't think I'd have a chance to log on but bearing in mind I have been out of the office for 6 days my back log isn't too bad at all.

My blood test is at 10 15 and it takes 4 hours for the results.
Couldn't sleep last night, think I managed about 5 hours. Actually feel quite calm this morning, what will be will be I guess.

I have been very up and down Sammy, last night I was really tearful. I am desperately hoping for a BFP and will be absolutely gutted if it's a BFN but we have a plan and that makes me feel like I'll be able to deal with it.

I'm sure you have, the tww is awful normally, let alone after an IVF cycle. I'm not sure I'm going to cope very well it! Xx

I'm alright had a bit of a wobble as we hit 18 month mark so have had proper time out from thinking bout it all and I think I'm going to step away from the buses for quite a while as it's hard month after month. Am 3dpo and we've taken a really relaxed approach. Hit the right days but with less pressure. Nothing we can do but just keep trying :)

Pikz - join us here, everyone understands and you don't have to deal with month 1 BFPs all the time.

I can't stay away from the busses though, I have a vested interest in everyone there! Xx

Pikz we have been TTC now for 14 months and it has been hell. This month since we we planed to go to Poland with 6 friends (there at the moment) and my ovulation time was over midsummer when we were away we only had two times once on the Thursday and then on the Monday and didn't think anything of it.

Confirmed today on third test I am pregnant. I am 31 and my partner is a 34 year old smoker so hoping now nothing goes wrong.

So ye my suggestion is take a step back and don't force it and think about other things (it's hard I know) and fingers crossed for you!

I am so glad that I've found this thread. Reading all your stories is making me feel less alone.

We've been TTC for just over 2 years. I feel heartbroken about it.

I'm 32, and never been pregnant.

We've been married for 2.5 years and I'm sick to the back teeth of constantly being asked when we're going to start a family and having to fob people off with rubbish answers. Every time someone asks it brings all the emotions to the surface and I feel like I have to smile politely, hide it and pretend we don't want kids, or that its not in the current plan.

Why do people think its ok to be so nosey about this?

We're starting the process of investigating why we haven't been successful yet. I've already tried a range of alternative remedies. We're also investigating adoption.

I don't actually know what else to say, but writing this knowing that other people that understand might be reading it feels very cathartic!

Just wanted to update to say my egg collection has been moved forward to Monday! I had 21 follicles in total with 8 being of the right size already, and a possible 2/3 more that might catch up. Agh!!!!! Scary! X

Eek, exciting Sammy! That's so similar to what I had and my egg collection was brought forward too. You have the weekend to prepare yourself. Get plenty of rest and drink loads of fluids.

On my way back from clinic. Results due some time after 2pm. I'll write more later too, on my phone now but hi and welcome Lu!
