Sammy, egg collection is at 9am. Starting to worry about getting to the clinic in time, should be absolutely fine but worry about the trains getting delayed/cancelled...

Hi trixie, I was only 250iu this time and was on 225iu last time but this time I was on a mix of Gonal-f and Menopur whereas last time I was only on Menopur so I don't know if that makes a difference. I don't think it's worth carrying on with the ones I have to be honest. We can't afford to spend the money on a cycle that's unlikely to work. Good luck for your egg collection tomorrow will be thinking of you.

Had you changed doses from last time?
You need to let yourself be sad about this for a while, then u need to formulate another plan. Xx

Hi can I join join? Have been ttc for 18mths. Did fall preg in jan but mc at 6wks. Ttc #2 altho this wld be dp #1. My ds is 8. Currently in ttw after ov on day 17 so im 5dpo and test date is 2 july....

Am 29 now so prob not as fertile!

Oh gosh - must be quite a shock that it's taking so long this time. Have you had any tests at all? And has your partner?

Sounds sensible to hold off for now Lucie. Hopefully you can start again next cycle and get the meds sorted out. Gutted for you, thought we were all going to be BFP buddies.

Sammy planning to leave here at 7am and all going well will be there at 8am. Back up plan if there is a prob with trains is to get a cab which should take around 50 mins. I said to DH about staying in a hotel near the clinic but being central London places are fully booked or £200. Hopefully everything will be fine. I'm more worried about getting there than the procedure itself.

Yea both have had tests. Dps original results came bk as low count but then we fell preg so thought nothing of it. Ive had a lot of surgery down there but they assure me everything is fine.

Btw Sammy, DH is coming with me. He has to do his sample while I have my collection and then get me home. Not long to go now.

I'm good thanks. The horrors of the house move seem 100 years ago now. We are nice and settled and DS is in nursery for 3 mornings a week. Pregnancy seems to be going well, though I've felt absolutely dreadful! I'm 20 weeks now, so half way there after a bit of a rocky start with some early bleeding.

I'm glad things seem to be moving forward for you. I have my fingers firmly crossed! Sammy if your temperature hasn't dropped this month does that mean you're still in the game? I had period type pains with DS, but not this time round.

Well technically yes, but my temp is always still up at 12dpo. I'm not holding much hope, I just want AF to wait until at least Sunday so it doesn't mess up the IVF dates. Xx

Hi Lemon, lovely to hear from you. Glad things are going well. I do often think of you ladies with your BFPs when I check in here.

Thanks for the good luck Sammy and Lucie, it all went well. Arrived at the clinic in plenty of time and got shown to our recovery room. DH went off to do his bit and then they took me in. Pretty much as soon as they sedated me I was out and only came round when I was back in the recovery room. Didn't take me as long to recover as I thought and we were home by 11.45am. We were expecting 9-13 eggs but they told me they got 15 and then when the embryologist came in he said they actually had 16 (though the extra one is almost definitely immature) I suspect that several of them will be immature. Having a relaxing afternoon letting DH look after me and waiting for our call in the morning to find out how many have fertilised.

Sammy, that is exactly how I felt with my AF, am sure if it does arrive it will be on time.

Lucie, now you've had a chance to sleep on things have you got any thoughts on your meds for your next go?
