I think I see a line cupcake let us know Thanks

I'm cd24 so another 6 days before I'm testing. This is currently cycle 15 - I'm just getting so disheartened tbh. I can't help thinking of how old my dds are going to be, already 2yrs older than when we started if I got pg this month - I feel bad going back to the baby stage again when they're both way beyond that Sad I've been thinking if I don't catch this month or next I'm going to stop trying Sad

LuluJakey1 · 17/02/2015 20:12

I read that Calpol is good if they are a bit off colour afterwards.

I wouldn't tell him Cupcake, not until you have to. The thought of two under 2! I am exhausted by one.

Cupcake92 · 17/02/2015 20:37

Oh Iam :( it'll happen when u least expect it! Trust me.
Ull stop trying and bam there u go!

Lulu calpol works well after jabs :) I gave DS some as soon as we were home after he had them and it helped him have a nap and forget about it.
And no im not telling him until I'm 100% sure 1.im actually pregnant and 2.its a viable pregnancy.

I know but I've never caught once, I think it's unexplained infertility and because we have kids already they wouldn't do anything for us. argh!!!

Siarie · 17/02/2015 22:03

There is deffo a line, I think i wouldn't tell him until 12 weeks to be honest. Then the % chance of mc is a lot lower and it's not like you owe him anything right now.

Obviously if he's in the same house it will be difficult if you feel sick but if I could get away with it that's what I would do.

Iam have you discussed things with your doctor? I think after a year they will do some investigations.

LuluJakey1 · 17/02/2015 23:13

DH went up to bed. Shouts down ' Lu, the bed isn't made up'.
Me 'It's all in the tumble drier- it's dry'.
DH 'Will you bring it up when you come up'.

We have at least 8 duvet sets and loads of sheets. Why can't he just get another set out of the press?

So I go up with the stuff and he is sitting on the mattress in his pants reading. I ask why he didn't just get clean bedding from the press and he says 'Well you said you were bringing this set up with you'. So somehow it is my fault now.

He did help make up the bed- which he and DS are lying on while I am in the chair cooling down next to the window. The NE is quite warm tonight.

Cupcake92 · 18/02/2015 07:55

Haha Lulu, I don't think men have the commen sense like us women do Grin it was also quite warm here in the Midlands last night. And this morning actually. Lovely day out :)

I did another test, the line is a lot lot fainter this morning and can only be seen in certain lights. So I'm not really sure what's going on if I'm honest.

OP posts:
Ducky23 · 18/02/2015 08:37

Cupcake my line was fainter than yours then got a tiny bit darker before getting lighter again and then darker.

Could you get a first response? I only ask because I think the thinner lines are a lot easier to see Smile

LuluJakey1 · 18/02/2015 10:25

It is nice here today Cupcake. We are going to take DS for a walk and have lunch out.

Have a nice day everyone. Smile

Bearsinmotion · 18/02/2015 11:10

Maternity leave day 3: all washing is done, all DD and DS's clothes are sorted, washing up done, house hoovered (DP did that bit!), hair dyed, shopping done. Now what? Am not good at being left to my own devices Grin

Cupcake92 · 18/02/2015 14:35

Ducky, I wasn't able to get a first response :( they only had the other first response not the 6 days sooner one. So just got more asda brand but I like them, they are usually good.
I did another this lunch time and again there's a line but it's faint but all the lines come up within the 5 mins time. So I guess I'm pregnant again!!! Hopefully 3rd time lucky. I pray it's a healthy sticky baby I really do.

Hope u had a nice walk Lulu :) it's beautiful out!

Bears I was like that on Mat leave! I was so bored Grin

OP posts:
Siarie · 18/02/2015 14:39

Well congratulations Cupcake, I have my fx for you that this one sticks for you.

Bears I'm the master at having lots of time, why don't you read a book or start a little project until the baby arrives? I'm on maternity leave myself now not that it makes much difference but I usually fill my time with browsing the web, writing my blog, reading, going out for coffee or baby preparations.

Or pop a film on, grab some snacks and kick back and relax!

Bearsinmotion · 18/02/2015 15:16

Still checking my work email Blush

Feel bad still taking DD at nursery so we are doing baking when I pick her up later Cake Grin. Might read my Kindle till then!

How many weeks have you got left Siarie? Part of the problem is my mobility has got so bad I can't leave the house easily otherwise I'd be out for coffee!

Siarie · 18/02/2015 15:51

I'm 30 weeks now so 7 - 12 depending whether she arrives at 37 weeks or 42 (or of course somewhere in between).

Ohhh you need make at home coffee, with squirty cream that will feel just like being out. You could even put a little easy listening music on, make an afternoon of it.

I'm thinking of doing pancakes this evening as we went out for dinner last night so didn't get a chance to do them yesterday.

LuluJakey1 · 18/02/2015 16:35

Congratulations Cupcake. Hope this one sticks! You must be excited. You deserve it after all the crap you've put up with.

We went out after lunch because it rained later this morning. We walked into the village, went to the bank and shops and then to the park and fed the ducks- DH and I like to feed the ducks Smile DS was asleep.

Then we went to the coffee shop, sat on the sofas, read the papers and had coffee and cake. Back home in the warm now and it is raining again. I am watching Jeremy Kyle, DS is on his mat- he can lift his head up for short periods. DH is in the study doing some work for Monday.

Bears, you can come up here and do our house if you are looking for jobs to do Smile

Ducky23 · 18/02/2015 18:21

Congratulations cupcake Smile

lillamyy1 · 18/02/2015 22:36

Oh wow, congratulations cupcake Flowers This might sound cheesy, but maybe this is some kind of a sign? Like without all the problems and stress H created, you'll be able to bring another baby into a happy, positive environment! My mum left her horrible husband when she had a toddler and a baby and brought them up all by herself and did a fantastic job. I've got my fingers crossed for this little one and know that if it's a sticky baby you're going to create such a wonderful new life for DS and his little brother or sister!

Bears, I've been exactly the same, it's so frustrating not being able to do much or go anywhere! Very glad not to be at work though!!

Iam, don't give up! Like you said, you've had babies before so you know it's not a fertility problem. Sometimes just the stress of trying is too much Flowers maybe just stop counting the days/timing dtd/tracking ov/AF etc and just enjoy how your family life is now. I'm sure it'll happen for you Flowers

lillamyy1 · 18/02/2015 22:37

Ducky, how has your little DS been recently?

LuluJakey1 · 18/02/2015 23:51

Lilla and Bears- that must be awful not being able to get about easily. It is one of the things I love about not being pregnant- feeling fit again not that I am Davina McColl

DH has been asked to the football match on Saturday- Bradford at home. I said he should go but he has been surprisingly torn about leaving DS. His mates are going out afterwards so he could stay with PIL and have a night out with his mates and SIL- who goes to all the matches. It is only overnight. He really wants to go but wants to be with DS as well. Said me and DS should go with him so he still sees him. So we sit in a car two hours there, two hours back and inbetween he goes to the match, goes out with his mates, comes home drunk (3 pints will do it) and I get to sit with PIL and disrupt DS's routine for 24 hours. Don't think so somehow.

Me and DS will be staying at home, going for a walk, watching TV and sleeping undisturbed in our own beds. Grin

DS is sleeping 6-7 hours at night now. He has just gone down and I think will sleep until about half 6 in the morning if we are lucky.

Cupcake92 · 19/02/2015 07:33

Test was negative this morning :s

OP posts:
Ducky23 · 19/02/2015 08:40

Lil ds is great thanks Smile so close to skipping one of his night feeds. The earliest we get up is 7 and he usually has a feed around 3.30 then another around 5 but had been going to 6,45 Grin

Cupcake, have you used a diff test? Maybe leave it 24/48 hours and do another one?

LuluJakey1 · 19/02/2015 08:59

Cupcake, maybe it is too early for a completely accurate result yet and that's why it is hovering between positive and negative. I think you are going to have to wait a few days - perhaps Sunday or Monday and try again?

Ducky, sounds as if the formula problems have settled. Is he a guzzler? DS is, he is always ready for a feed. How old is he now? Does he sleep much during the day- DS doesn't. I would say he has two naps on average.

LuluJakey1 · 19/02/2015 09:00

Plus short snoozes of say 15/20 minutes.

Ducky23 · 19/02/2015 10:00

I think he would constantly feed if he could but he seems much more settled on his new milk Smile he's still eating around every 2/3 hours during the day. he's much like your ds with his naps, he tends to have an hour around 9.30 (when I frantically run round tidying) then another hour or two in the afternoon. He's starting to get a lot more interested in his toys now so I'm hoping he will get to a point soon I can let him play for a bit Smile he's 10 weeks now Shock gone so quick! Have just packed awY all his little clothes, he's in 3-6 now Blush

Do you get up with him at 6 or do you sleep again after?

Still no AF!!

Cupcake92 · 19/02/2015 11:42
