Hope nobody minds, Thought I'd start a march bus especially for those people like me who skip feb out due to it being 28 days and having a 32 day cycle, or those already kicked off the feb bus. But all are welcome expecting bfps in March!

Found the jan bus was a great place to be to discuss the madness that is ttc!

So welcome aboard! Grin

March bus for those of us who drive right on through feb without stopping!
BabyBumpHopeful · 07/02/2015 04:14

Got my basal thermometer today!! Excited and not excited at the same time. I think it's more reliable than OPK's, but I don't like the idea of waking at the same time each day (especially as during the week I'm up at 7am and I don't think that sounds like fun for the weekend!

BabyBumpHopeful · 07/02/2015 05:17

Realised just now that because of the length of my cycles etc etc I'd be due around my brothers birthday (which also means my parent's probably conceived him on V-day...)

australopithecus · 07/02/2015 07:09

baby stop thinking about parent having sex. So not worth it!

nightandthelight · 07/02/2015 07:17

Got up at 06:30 to go for a run before my spa day. Finally managed to get DH out of bed by playing 'eye of a tiger'. Gave me the idea that if he starts flagging during TTC I can just play it :)

DizzyNorthernBird · 07/02/2015 08:22

night you go girl running at 06.30 in the cold, brrr! I'm heading out to my local parkrun this morning (5k) and it's looking slippery out there Confused

baby it is a pain isn't it....the data is so valuable so it's definitely worth it but as most of my shifts are during days I'll be taking my temp at 06.10 when I get up....this unfortunately means having to set my alarm for that time on my days off (I can hear DP moaning about this already!) and after I've done an evening shift where I don't finish work until 01.00 Hmm. This morning I took it at 06.45 as thought the slightly later temp wouldn't make a difference but ff has given me the empty circle on my chart....? Not sure if this will affect it calculating ov as the temps haven't been taken consistently at the same times each day?

adora that does sound fascinating, I love looking at X-rays. Did they show anything of interest?

Anyone doing anything nice today! I'm working later on Sad

juneybean · 07/02/2015 08:31

Ohh was wondering what the circles meant on FF have had two already this week

nightandthelight · 07/02/2015 08:45

Thanks Dizzy it was freezing but felt so good for having done it :) enjoy your park run, I need to look at those in my area. Sorry to hear that you are working later that does suck. I am just waiting for my friend to arrive before heading to the spa so a very happy bunny today.

loopylou1984 · 07/02/2015 09:09

Dizzy - even that little time difference will make FF give you an empty circle.... It differs from person to person, but I find that up to an hour doesn't really make too much difference to my temps. FF has always been able to pinpoint ov for me. I do set an alarm for 5am (the earliest dh gets up in the week) but am able to go back to sleep after... Probably because it's still dark at the moment! X

loopylou1984 · 07/02/2015 09:10

Austral - lol at the tampon confetti! Xx

dojo123 · 07/02/2015 11:02

Morning ladies.

Looks like AF has finished. Only lasted 3 full days which is 1 day shorter than usual. Not that I am complaining but I hope this doesn't mess around with my predicted OV day.
Plan is that DH and I DTD EOD from today until 19th, we might do 17th, 18th and 19th if DH can keep up and possibly again on 21st for luck!
Fingers crossed this plan will give us the result we want.

Sweets No, I don't think I have tried Millers Gin. I will need to look out for it.
That is one thing I will miss if we do get a BFP in the next month or so. Having a lovely G&T on a summers evening. I'll just have to have the tonic with ice instead.

Hairstylisttoboris · 07/02/2015 19:02

Hey ladies can I book a seat on the March bus? af is here. Bit of a bugger but onwards and upwards

Stats
HairStylistToBoris, 36, ttc 1, cycle 8, bfp due March 2nd

TrixieRay · 07/02/2015 19:37

Hello, AF got me today too so will hop aboard if I may.

Trixie, 33, ttc #1, cycle 15, BFP due 7 March

I'm sticking with the low key no temping/OPK approach just DTD when we feel like it.
I'll be in the rooftop gin terrace for now. Can't stand gin though so make mine a vodka and tonic- yum!

australopithecus · 07/02/2015 19:40

boris, trixie sincere commiserations! You're welcome to the gin terrace whatever your choice of Fuckit Forgetit drink.

Hairstylisttoboris · 07/02/2015 19:46

I love gin. In all its forms. Also wine. Lots of wine....

nightandthelight · 07/02/2015 19:48

Am enjoying some Wine right now, who is with me?

Hairstylisttoboris · 07/02/2015 19:49

Night I'm with you on the Wine as soon as DSC are in bed.

nightandthelight · 07/02/2015 19:50

Excellent Hair really sorry to hear of your AF Flowers

adora1985 · 07/02/2015 20:52

Dizzy, the x-Ray shows the uterus, Fallopian tubes and ovaries, there was nothing interesting on mine in as much as everything was normal and as expected, but it was fascinating to get to see it all, particularly as it's not often you get to see what's going on in your own body as it's happening!
I get the joys of dildocam the week after next, which I'm sure I'll find just as interesting, particularly as that's going to officially diagnose the PCOS my consultant thinks is our problem.

TakesTwoToTango · 07/02/2015 21:14

Evening all. May I join you from the Feb bus?

TakesTwoToTango, 35, TTC #3, cycle 2, bfp due 11 March.

Riceicle1 · 07/02/2015 21:42

Little update from me- I've had a week of horrible brown discharge (sorry tmi) then I had clot come out when I went to the loo. I went to the docs who thought I could have had a chem preg Sad (I knew something was off this month, I just wasn't right) today I'm am in a lot of pain and bleeding heavily. Sad So I'm not exactly sure what will happen with my cycle this month. I may try ov sticks to help pinpoint when to DTd, the only good thing to come out of my trip to the docs was she said she would do some bloods if I hadn't conceived by April (which will be cycle 6).
Sorry to everyone joining us from the feb bus the witch is being particularly cruel this month.
I'm off for a nice gin and lemonade (or 3) now to try and drown my sorrows!

blondiewoowoo1 · 07/02/2015 21:48

Can I hop on please from the Feb bus. AF wasn't due until Tues next week but have been bleeding gradually all week and lots more today and backache and niggly crampy pains so counting today as firat day of period.
Stats are aged 32, TTC #2 cycle 2, bfp due roughly around 5th March.

TakesTwoToTango · 07/02/2015 21:50

Sorry to hear that riceicle Sad gin sound like a good plan. If it's any consolation, after my early mc my cycle just went straight back to normal, so you may find everything happens as it usually would [hopeful]. If the pain or bleeding get bad or carry on a bit, it might be good to get you doc to check you over again or refer you for a quick check at the early pregnancy unit to make sure everything has "passed" ok.

TakesTwoToTango · 07/02/2015 21:51

blondie have you poased?

daisyspice · 07/02/2015 21:54
