March bus for those of us who drive right on through feb without stopping!

shinysparklythings · 28/01/2015 07:26

Hope nobody minds, Thought I'd start a march bus especially for those people like me who skip feb out due to it being 28 days and having a 32 day cycle, or those already kicked off the feb bus. But all are welcome expecting bfps in March!

Found the jan bus was a great place to be to discuss the madness that is ttc!

So welcome aboard! Grin

Shinysparklythings 29, ttc#1, cycle 2, bfp due 1st march.

Lol dojo. Me, I'm bored! CD5 here, come on ov day!! Xx

loopylou1984 · 05/02/2015 18:22

Just realised ov day will probably be valentines... That's convenient! Xx

dojo123 · 05/02/2015 18:29

Sammy That is convenient.
I won't be OVing on that day but it is the start of my fertile window. However it also just so happens I will be going on a double date with my hubby, my little bro and his girlfriend/my old house mate on Valentines Day and staying at said brother's and girlfriend's house for a long weekend. Perfect timing really! Hmm

loopylou1984 · 05/02/2015 18:57

Ohno dojo! ??
Well, you'll just have you be really quiet, maybe it will be exciting? Xx

dojo123 · 05/02/2015 19:08

Sammy I have already warned DH that we will have to try. We're not going to miss an opportunity. Could be interesting, hilarious or really, really embarrassing and then we'll have an awkward weekend!!! Blush

Oh well! Grin

loopylou1984 · 05/02/2015 19:55

??????!

juneybean · 05/02/2015 20:05

I think mine will be valentines day too (hello from Feb bus...!) But as I'm doing it alone it won't be quite as romantic as you lot... Sure I'll have a nice bath and some chocolates beforehand!

I also realise why I know so many people that are born at the beginning of November, their parents obviously all had a good valentines!

DizzyNorthernBird · 05/02/2015 22:56

I'm bored too dojo, cd5 here.

Think my window also starts around Valentine's Day but I'm a valentines Scrooge so it'll make no difference to my plans at all.

Feeling rather lost today without my ovia data to obsess over. And I'm staying at my parents house for a few days without my thermometer so I can't even over analyse all four days of ff data. Yawn!

DizzyNorthernBird · 05/02/2015 22:58

juney what do you mean about doing it alone?

juneybean · 05/02/2015 23:07

Oh I'm a single lesbian with some frozen sperm being delivered next week.

Have had two rounds of iui last year but both failed (one a possible chemical pregnancy)

Can no longer afford any more iui so found a sperm bank that allows for home insemination and if that fails will move onto plan c... whatever that may be!

DizzyNorthernBird · 05/02/2015 23:38

Ah ok, fx plan b is successful for you! Sorry for being nosey Smile

BabyBumpHopeful · 06/02/2015 03:36

CD7 for me. I'm starting the smilie OPK's on the 10th even though the little booklet says for a cycle as long as mine it should be 12th... simply because I don't trust my cycle length yet (skipping a month screwed everything up).

DH is exhausted so hasn't felt like DTD at all... even just for fun... which sucks. I'd like to at least get a good fun session in before TTC again this cycle...

australopithecus · 06/02/2015 05:35

Hallo marcheroonies. I'm officially declaring the rooftop gin terrace on the march bus open if anyone cares to join the debauchery. Bring fanny blankets as it gets chilly up there, earmuffs and an old-fashioned Walkman so we can listen to the soundtrack of "grease", and cocktail umbrellas!

australopithecus · 06/02/2015 05:45

Stats: presuming bleeding is first AF since dc1, cut down bfing to kickstart things; caught cycle zero's ovulation and DTD a quadrillion times, but think the 3-5 day luteal phase fucked it all up. Angry
Name: Australopithecus
Age: Late thirties
Ttc: #2 from Oct 2014, but actively dec 2014. DC1 is 10 months
Cycle: #1, no idea what body might do now ConfusedHmm so let's say on average bfp due 5 March? Will update stats as we go along.

nightandthelight · 06/02/2015 06:33

Welcome austra. The arrival of AF sounds like your body is getting back to normal so fx for March!

Sweets27 · 06/02/2015 06:34

Yay, gin terrace! Count me in!

I'm officially on the March bus too now, af arrived last night/this morning. A little disappointed but not surprised, and it's only cycle 1.

Night I think you have my stats on the list already, but anyway they're: 29, ttc #1, cycle 2, BFP due 5 March. austral we'll be cycle twins!

Resolution for this month - properly cut out the caffeine and wine, keep eating healthily for whole cycle and not just the first week while I can so be bothered!

dojo123 · 06/02/2015 07:16

Welcome austra. Gin, ahh haven't had one of those since New Year's Day. I'm just going to park my butt up here then for a few days. Now do you have yours with a slice of lime or cucumber? And what is your Gin of choice? I have a soft spot for Plymouth (originally from the SW) but do enjoy a Sipsmith or Bombay.

ozmund · 06/02/2015 07:17

Hello, I am jumping on, if I may?
40yr, ttc1, cycle 3, bfp(fx) 2nd March - hope you don't need any more vital statistics! Confused

ozmund · 06/02/2015 07:17

Sorry af got you too austral Flowers

australopithecus · 06/02/2015 07:56

Aw how kind is this bus!!!!! Thanks fir the welcome everyone! feels all tearful
sweets I've never had a cycle buddy before! Grin
I quite like Bombay Sapphire, but am happy to admit that the name makes imagine I'm drinking pure "blue" and somehow that seems lovely. I also love a bit of bitter or dry lemon with my gin instead of tonic and will give my right arm for a good shot of home-brewed sloe gin. Or raspberry gin. Or elderflower gin. Damnit, gin for breakfast! dances a jig on the bus roof and throws colourfully wrapped tampons into the air so that it rains down like confetti on the commuters below

nightandthelight · 06/02/2015 08:07

Sorry for the arrival of AF for so many people this morning, she is obviously feeling particularly b**y this morning! Will update the stats this evening :)

dojo123 · 06/02/2015 09:43

Loving the imagery austra. Ooh yeah, a bit of sloe gin is bloody marvellous.

Sweets27 · 06/02/2015 10:13

Mmmmm, Bombay Sapphire.

Ok so my resolution for this month (no caffeine/booze) might have to wait at least until AF is over, so I can continue to console myself with a lovely G&T of an evening. austral, dojo, have you had Millers gin? It's delish. Nice with cucumber.

daisyspice · 06/02/2015 13:18

Hi all jumping on (aus I promise I am NOT stalking youSmile)

2 day bleed convinced it was AF so counting today as cd3 bought some opk's since my system is whack Smile

Mon the marchers SmileSmileSmileSmile

adora1985 · 06/02/2015 14:36

I love a really good G&T, my DH bought me 2 1ltr bottles of Bombay Sapphire for my recent birthday, can't beat a Bombay and lemon tonic G&T IMO. Haven't been able to drink anywhere near as much as I'd like to due to ttc, but I have had the occasional one before ov.
I had a HSG this morning, for anyone who might be having one soon and is anxious about it, mine didn't hurt at all. Slightly pinchy for a few seconds and a feeling like I needed a wee, but that was all.
I've now got an ultrasound booked in for the 19th, as apparently I was meant to have the HSG and an ultrasound, but our consultant didn't book in an ultrasound, and the hospital can't fit me in for nearly two weeks. So no official PCOS diagnosis yet and a bit more waiting, but I got a really good look at the x-Rays from today, which was quite fascinating.
