March bus for those of us who drive right on through feb without stopping!

shinysparklythings · 28/01/2015 07:26

Hope nobody minds, Thought I'd start a march bus especially for those people like me who skip feb out due to it being 28 days and having a 32 day cycle, or those already kicked off the feb bus. But all are welcome expecting bfps in March!

Found the jan bus was a great place to be to discuss the madness that is ttc!

So welcome aboard! Grin

Shinysparklythings 29, ttc#1, cycle 2, bfp due 1st march.

Lauramum23 · 23/02/2015 13:59

I have finished the kitchen still got utility to do Hmm that will wait for tomorrow! Ill have to keep myself busy while waiting for my period ooo only another 4-6 weeks then! I know ill paint the whole feckin house! I really hope it comes in 4 weeks no longer!

BananaRaces · 23/02/2015 14:12

dojo thanks for the advice. I've just called the consultant's secretary and she's booking me in for a follow-up appointment. It's probably for the best because these things do tend to take ages to sort out. Hopefully by the time my appointment comes through I will have to cancel because I will already be upduffed (wishful/positive thinking)!!

juneybean · 23/02/2015 14:18

Welcome Laura

I'm 7dpo, and symptom spotting like mad

dojo123 · 23/02/2015 14:47

Juney What other symptoms have you been spotting?
wants to make sure I'm not the only mad woman searching for imaginary symptoms, I'm only 5dpo, get a grip woman!

loopylou1984 · 23/02/2015 14:49

Yes Juney - what symptoms are you spotting?
I'm 7dpo and have none! Literally nothing, not even my usual sore boobs! X

juneybean · 23/02/2015 15:27

Got creamy cm, today cervix is out of reach (was low yesterday ), can't tell if I've got wind or something happening in my womb, have wind (!), had a dream about eating bread and woke up mighty nauseous!

I reckon it's probably better to have none then the bfp can sneak up on you!

loopylou1984 · 23/02/2015 15:33

Fingers crossed!!
Keep me updated with your symptoms cycle buddy!
When are you going to test? X

Jessica85 · 23/02/2015 15:35

I've had weird cramping today (7dpo), like I normally get on CD1 but obvs am not due AF for another week!

Sammy maybe no symptoms is a good sign for you - anything out of the ordinary is a sign imo.

TrixieRay · 23/02/2015 15:46

I'm doing a really bad job of keeping up!

Cariad, glad you're getting on ok with the CBFM, they have great reviews and I had high hopes for mine but gave up in the end.
It's nappy valley in my part of SE London too...We purposely chose this area for that reason and now feel really out of place! Hopefully neither of us have to wait much longer to join in.

Genni, yes, well remembered. I am very very lucky. My boss agreed to let me go down to 4 days a week last summer. Have had to tighten my belt a bit but it is worth it for the extra time. I definitely think I am generally less stressed now but still no BFP. Work is ok at the moment though I had a stressful few weeks at the beginning of the year when loads of deadlines came at once. I hope your first day back has been ok. Yay for the strong positive opk, I really hope the increased fertility post loss gets you your sticky BFP.

Saw my GP today and have been referred to fertility clinic.....16 weeks until 1st appointment on average though which takes us to mid June and really wanted to see how the land lies re treatment on the nhs before we fork out for private IVF...we'll see I guess.

I feel utterly fed up with ttc at the moment. I've been trying not to think about it but keep dreaming about it. I'm on CD 17 when I would usually ov but no positive opk yetHmm I only have 1 opk left. Haven't temped as went out with the girls on Sat and had wine yesterday with DH too so much for giving up booze for lent I've been taking maca and co enzyme q 10 so wonder if they have brought ov forward or delayed it or maybe it is an anovulatory cycle?! We've only DTD on CD 9 and 16 so if I oved early there is little hope....My boobs feel tender so maybe I did ov early. Time will tell. I really wish DH and I could DTD every other day but after a few days the results aren't very successful....

loopylou1984 · 23/02/2015 16:02

Jessica I hope so!

Trixie - glad you've got the ball in motion re fertility specialist. I know it's seems a long way off and it's easy to give up hope, but you're in the system now.
We have our follow up appointment at the end of April (after being told to try for another 4 months) and I've kind of come to terms with the fact that I probably won't have a bfp before then. We have decided though that we are going to pay for a private HyCoSy if it's another long wait for that as we're both getting impatient now. We can't really afford private IVF if it came to that so will just need to check we can flit between nhs/private like that. X

juneybean · 23/02/2015 16:57

sammy I tested today! haha BFN of course but no doubt I'll be using IC to test every day...!

jessica that sounds exciting! implantation?!

trixie hello! don't think I've seen you around! Sorry you're having a bad time of it, fingers crossed for you!

loopylou1984 · 23/02/2015 17:01

At 7dpo?! Lol.
I have ICs too, but I hate seeing bfn so much that I'm going to try and wait till 11dpo.... So Friday!
We'll see if I last that long! Xx

juneybean · 23/02/2015 17:03

You're a better woman than me! It was stark white today but thankfully I don't feel too disheartened yet (because of course it's 7dpo!)

gennibugs · 23/02/2015 17:43

trixie glad work isn't too bad at the mo. Hopefully you'll ov soon fx. I take huge doses of coq10 and my cycle was ok pre mc but as with all these things I think they can totally affect us in different ways. could be that the maca is bringing on a stronger ov maybe? Sorry you are feeling rubbish. I hope your NHS appointment comes through quick. They were rubbish in my area but I've been amazed how good they've been in other areas so fx yours is a good un.

juney I am in awe of your poas at 7 dpo! I have a close to pathological fear of seeing bfns otherwise I reckon I'd be poas everyday!

sammy fx that this is your month. Hopefully you won't need that hycosy.

chasing I may have missed your post but any sign of a pos opk?

laurasmum welcome. This is a great bus. There are a few of us who have MC'd recently so you'll get lots of support here. Sorry to hear of your loss.

spinning just read back.....I want to move somewhere warm! I am so jealous! Lucky lady! Grin

hello to everyone else - am on phone so I quite likely have missed some posts Xx

chasingtherainbow · 23/02/2015 17:58

Jessica cramping ok cd7 is excellent. . Had same on my bfp's

Genni got a pos mid morn today cd15

DizzyNorthernBird · 23/02/2015 18:06

Evening ladies!

chasing, if it reassures you I found a chart on ff the other day where someone had got pg from dtd four days before ov. I'm pretty sure that was the only time she'd dtd as well that cycle lucky bitch

dojo/juney I'm also symptom spotting already at 5dpo....mild uterine cramping this morning probably imaginary, spots on my chin all of a sudden and sore boobs which is completely normal so I'm definitely preggers Grin tmi alert but also a huge blob of creamy this afternoon also normal post ov

By the way, I'm running out of seven seas tfab, anyone know of any offers atm?

shinysparklythings · 23/02/2015 18:12

banana sorry to hear that, get yourself to the gp asap to get sorted although hopefully is just a blip.

trixie well done on getting the ball rolling with infertility stuff, fingers crossed that appointment comes through quickly.

Welcome to all the newbies joining us- this is a good friendly bus to be on.

juney step away from the pee sticks! jess and sammy I "spotted" loads of symptoms and BFN last month. This month I've not really spotted anything. Planning to test tomorrow at 10dpo because I don't think I can wait till sun when af is due. Probably too early but I have IC's to use!

Hahaha your cross out made me lol!

juneybean · 23/02/2015 18:21
Grin

Fingers crossed for testing tomorrow shiny I think 10dpo is a fair point to start but don't be disheartened if it's BFN!

I'm sure Asda have Pregnacare on for 3 for £10.00 dizzy (actually all vits are 3 for £10.00) but Wilko also do their own version which seem to have most of the same vits in.

DizzyNorthernBird · 23/02/2015 18:30

Oh really how much are the wilkos version?

DizzyNorthernBird · 23/02/2015 18:31

Although I'm a bit scared of pregnacare as I've seen lots of girls on here having their cycles messed up with them...

juneybean · 23/02/2015 18:32

Wilkos are £2.00 but I've just seen they have the seven seas trying for a baby ones for £2.00 also!

I've never heard that about pregnacare, bit worried now as that's what I'm taking!

Amyyy27 · 23/02/2015 18:34

dizzy i have been using the centrium pregnancy/ttc vits also 3 for £10 asda. I asked my midwife about vits before mc and she said theyre all the same so get whatever would save money!

Good luck to those testing over the next few days i really hope you get those BFPs! Im only 2dpo and driving myself insane already! impatient cow

shinysparklythings · 23/02/2015 18:35

I use the seven seas ones, they are always on offer.

juney I know it's too early, but want to test anyway! If it's bfp yay, if not well I'll test agai in a couple of days. besides last month I tested at 8dpo
