March bus for those of us who drive right on through feb without stopping!

Hope nobody minds, Thought I'd start a march bus especially for those people like me who skip feb out due to it being 28 days and having a 32 day cycle, or those already kicked off the feb bus. But all are welcome expecting bfps in March!

Found the jan bus was a great place to be to discuss the madness that is ttc!

So welcome aboard! Grin

Shinysparklythings 29, ttc#1, cycle 2, bfp due 1st march.

So, my ultrasound on Thursday didn't go great. I was expecting it just to confirm the PCOS, the report be sent to my consultant, and to then start on clomid in April. Instead I was told that I have a large uterine polyp, which apparently was picked up on the HSG two weeks ago, but they just needed to double check. I had to wait two weeks, after being told that everything on the HSG was clear, to then be told that actually there's something else wrong.
Apparently the polyp has acted like an IUD, causing the mcs I had, and since those four years ago, I've been my own in-built contraception!
I was told though that only one ovary is polycystic, the other looks fine, and she could see that is ovulated from the good one this month, so that was better news than I expected, but obviously I wasn't expecting the other bad news.
I really don't know what's going to happen next. I was told on Thursday that I won't be able to conceive naturally until the polyp is removed, but the hospital are going to write to my consultant, and I'll need to wait to hear from her.
So until that happens I'm stuck in limbo, and feel that I've spent the last four years of my life putting myself through hell for nothing.
I really hope I hear from the consultant ASAP and can get booked in for the op ASAP, but I don't know when that will be. Until then we're on hold.
Has anybody had a similar diagnosis and can tell me their experience? I really wasn't expecting this and I don't know what's going to happen now.

MaMaPo · 22/02/2015 03:03

Adora, so sorry to hear of those results. I have no experience to share, but I hope it turns out to be easily operable with a tiny waiting list, and easy recovery and immediate fertility. It sounds positive that you have one healthy non cystic ovary - hopefully once the polyp is out of the equation then conception won't be too difficult.

I'm sorry it has been a 4 year wait for you to find this out.

AbFab86 · 22/02/2015 04:26

Oh adora that's rubbish news Thanks BUT - fantastic news about your ovaries working! Although it is hugely frustrating, at least you have got to the bottom of the problem now and it is something that can be sorted. So hopefully you'll be able to get booked in soon, the polyp will be whipped out and you'll be able to get down to some efficient baby making Smile Hopefully this is a big corner turned for you.

Amyyy27 · 22/02/2015 07:12

Morning!

elegant that sounds very promising!! Fx Smile

adora sorry to hear you've been through such a shit time. But pleased for you that they have got to the bottom of it. Hope you have a speedy recovery!

Can someone tell me how i can show you my chart in here please? Im so confused now.. i am sure (almost) i ovulated yesterday. I had a big drop in temp yesterday and this morning it has risen... but only back to my normal range... i was under the impression it would spike way above my normal temps... so just wanna show you all to see your opinion. OH is getting man flu and indint think theres a chance of dtd today or it will be like that scene from Friends with Monica and Chandler!! Oh im on my mobile as well not sure if that makes any difference to uploading? Thanks!

Amyyy27 · 22/02/2015 07:14

Oops .. i don't* not indint Grin

DizzyNorthernBird · 22/02/2015 07:36

Morning all! I have no idea why I'm awake so early on a sunday morning but I'm glad I am because it's a beautiful morning out there!

adora sorry to hear your news, I can't begin to imagine how frustrating that must be. I'm early on in my ttc journey so I don't have any advice, but just wanted to say stay positive, at least they've gotten to the bottom of your problem now so youncan begin moving forwards. Flowers

amyy I think you take a screen shot of your chart and upload it as a photo? Although I've seen others post the link to their chart. I'll see if I can post mine too. I've only just been given a line today to show I ovulated on Wednesday....my temps are increasing very slowly and have even dipped very slightly. As its my first month temping I have no idea whether this is good or not!

DizzyNorthernBird · 22/02/2015 07:39

Here's mine. As you can see it's taken several days to see a line and I'm now all of a sudden 4dpo! So hang on in there, you might see a line over the next few days.

Morning Grin

Adora, you've trying for 4 years and they've only just scanned you?! I'm sorry to hear your news. I hope you can have the op soon and your sticky bfp follows shortly. Did they give you an idea of wait times? You should get a letter quite soonThanks

shinysparklythings · 22/02/2015 07:45

Morning ladies.
adora sorry to hear you need an op, I can imagine how frustrating everything must be, but at least you know you have a good ovary, so small blessings.

On ff if it's only just confirmed weds iv, isn't that a bit late? I hope you got some good dtd in.

amy live that your Dh tried the kebab! Grin I look forward to trying next cycle if no bfp.

Well I got some sleep last night and the pain in my side/back seems to of eased mostly so hopefully was nothing serious. wasn't really major panicking that it was my kidney/bladder

8dpo here so major snooze stress ville. I hate the tww! There is nothing you can do at this point except wait Hmm.

Hope everyone has a nice Sunday Grin

FertilityFriend.com/home/574385 i hope thats how you can see? I have a samsung so no idea how to screenshot!!

Thanks dizzy ive been reading up all morning and apparently there are people who are 'slow risers' and dont show a sudden temp rise but gradual over a few days. Hmmm i dont know what to think. Will just have to let mother nature decide what she wants to do with me!

Amyyy27 · 22/02/2015 07:56

shiny i think it was chasing who tried the kebab haha i found out a little too late although if i get the chance today im totally going to kebab! Grin ooo 8dpo, when are you testing? Fx!!!

shinysparklythings · 22/02/2015 08:13

Sorry - it was abfabs Dh who tried it. I knew it began with an a!

Testing tues at 10dpo as i don't think I'll be able to wait longer than that. Af isn't due till March 1st though, so might still be too early.

Not really had any symptoms, other than peeing a lot yesterday - but because I had a painful side might be completely unrelated. Tmi- my nipples feel a bit sore, but not my whole boobs :s trying to not symptom spot to avoid dissapointment. We only managed to dtd 2 days before ov (or maybe one day as not quite sure exactly when ov was) so not getting too hopeful.

What is frustrating is that before I had my appendix out in June last year and my cycles got messed up. I could feel ov pains, and knew exactly when ovulating. Since then I haven't felt any ov pains and missed a few periods, so relying on ewcm for now. and predictions on clue

Amyy to screenshot on your Samsung hold down the "off button" on the side and the big main button at the bottom of the phone at the same time. It's a bit tricky but that's how you do it xx unfortunately I know feck all about temping charts so can't help!

aurora I am really sorry to hear your scan app was a bit of a double whammy. Horay for a good ovary. That's really good news. I can only imagine how it must feel to know your efforts for the past 4 years have been pointless though. Obviously you can't change it now, but at least for today allow yourself to feel all those angry/frustrated/upset feelings and then allow yourself to look forwards. I truly hope the op is done asap. As I say my 2nd hand experience of it is that it's really simple and quick recovery. Then there's nothing stopping you! I hope you get your bfp
and take home baby very very soon.

I myself am completely confused and finding this cycle exhausting. I usually take notes every day of my cycle of any minor changes etc as they can build a good picture by the end. I decided to be relaxed and not do that this month, having had two perfect 28 day cycles with cd14 ovulation. I'd only got a few opks left- enough to confirm ov and that was as much as I'd planned to do.

Well. Cd9 I had a positive smiley face. I didn't believe it and did another 2 hrs later which was neg (though now I'm understanding they only work with fmu) this massively threw me and so I disregarded it as a false surge... but I am kicking myself for not testing cd8.

I ran out and bought more tests and have just had yet another negative cd14, argh!! And the lines on the stick. . There's barely any 2nd line so it doesn't even look like I'm building up to ov. I'm twitchy with some mild and sporadic dull achey pain. But really not much. I've felt on off things on my left hand side for couple of days and hoped this was a good indicator. Literally no cm at all until just this second when I've wiped and found the good ewcm stretchy stuff (that's right isn't it? )

I don't understand this at all. If I did ov vvvv early I've probably missed it as we dtd cd7, cd 10,12&13 so far. I don't know why but my app on my phone (v basic) has me down to ov cd15 (tomo) ... but right now I just don't know what's going on. I'm either unwittingly already in the 2ww with little chance of pregnancy, or further from my 2ww with not ovulating at all yet, or possibly not even at all this cycle .. or my perfect 28 day cycle has gone to shit for some reason.

Eurghhhhh

Amyyy27 · 22/02/2015 08:20

Ahh sorry shiny i misread that youre right it was AbFabs DH :) oh well good luck really hope this is the month! Im hoping for no symptoms this month tbh as the last 4 i have convinced myself i was pg but clearly not!

Amyyy27 · 22/02/2015 08:25

Thanks chasing will give that a go in a min. Just wanted to say it sounds to me like youre about to ovulate over the next few days. Ewcm is the good stuff! I would go out and get some more tests. I found the boots ones good :)

Amyyy27 · 22/02/2015 08:27

Hmm screenshots not working for me or i may be doing it wrong! Does the link work?

chasingtherainbow · 22/02/2015 08:31

Yes link works! Which samsung do you have? Mines an s4 (also same on the s3/s5)

AbFab86 · 22/02/2015 08:31

Haha yep I'm the one with the husband who did a slow roll around the living room carpet to coat his cervix...

DizzyNorthernBird · 22/02/2015 08:37

amyy I'm pretty sure I've seen other charts showing a dip on day of ov, which would mean ov on cd19? Have you tried searching on ff for charts showing an ov dip?

shiny, luckily I did dtd on weds which is a stroke of luck! Even if ov was actually cd19 I should thankfully be in with a good chance. Had thought I was out what with DP being a lazy bugger this week.

DizzyNorthernBird · 22/02/2015 08:41

chasing to me that looks like you did dtd enough to catch an early ov, if that is what happened. If I were you though (and I'm not because my Dp apparently likes to make minimal effort towards impregnating me) I would carry on dtd for a few days until your ewcm has dried up.

DizzyNorthernBird · 22/02/2015 08:44

Cycles are so bloody confusing aren't they!! I'm so glad I started temping this cycle as, although it comes with its own ambiguity at times, at least it gives you something more concrete to work with. Even if it is retrospectively.

Amyyy27 · 22/02/2015 08:46

S5, I had an iphone but some little twat stole it after the mc and i never got round to working out how to use everything on this!

dizzy yes i have it seems to be quite common to get a dip on O day and i also had O pains on my left side yesterday too so im almost sure CD19 is O day. Im just worried about todays temperature as when im looking at other peoples charts their temps go higher than they have been through that cycle but with mine it hasnt. It has risen from yesterdays temp but not higher than normal. Im hoping its just slow to rise and will go up over next few days. Otherwise i may not have ov'd this month and the pains were unrelated.

Amyyy27 · 22/02/2015 08:48

Very confusing!!

DizzyNorthernBird · 22/02/2015 09:36

My temps are higher than yours amyy but they've also consistently stayed in the same region! I had been thinking mine were too high lol.

I wouldn't read too much into it, wait and see how the next few days pan out. I've been searching temp rises today and there's so many different patterns. I suppose it's a case of learning what is normal to us.
