Purdey No not at all, but I wasn't sure and I have terrible foot in mouth at times. I am glad you shared though :)

Sammy, the chart with today's temp at 36.42: was that the temp you took an hour earlier than usual? If so, you could reasonably expect it to have read 36.50 had you taken it at the correct time. This would still be a downward trajectory at 11dpo and I, personally, would be steeling myself for AF. It's horrid, isn't it? I do think you'll get your baby, Sammy, I really do. You're doing everything right and your sex pattern is perfect. Hang on in there, sweetheart. Remember: 80% of women will get there bfp within the first year and 95% will get pregnant by the second.

Oh I thought tessies DH was an assassin? I was going to book him to deal with a little issue at work.

I know right? The first is the 6am and the second is the 4.30am... Thing is the whole night was pretty disturbed as got up twice for the loo... The second time being at about 2ish, so neither of these followed the recommended 3 hours! Agh!
No, haven't tested, was waiting to see what temps did!

Sammy, I haven't anything useful to add re charting/ttc etc but just wanted to say try not to stress too much about the whole 'milestone' thing.
I was downright miserable a bit sad around my 30th. I didn't have children and wasn't even married. To me, this was a sign of failure. 7 years on I can honestly say I have enjoyed my 30s much more than my 20s. Unfortunately society and the media puts women under so much pressure; we're portrayed as 'past it' by the time we reach 30, which is just ridiculous.

Sorry for the rant, I think I should head across to the feminism threads now!

Awww Purdey I read it and didn't think it was abrupt. My form of humour tends to be very sarcastic...very funny too in my defence but it gets me into to all sorts of trouble....mostly after too many wines rare so I try to avoid having one too many and thinking I'm bloody hilarious ;)

I don't think it's so much the expectation thing as my own silly imagination. In my plan my first child would be born before I'm 30! I'm not very good at not being in control, I think it's something I need to get over! X

ttc #1, since beginning of December. had my first AF, she's just buggered off (I'm not sure on my cycle length) and I'm dying to use OPKs, just don't know when the best time is to start trying! I don't want to have sex every single day to get upduffed!

I'm a complete newbie, your CD starts on day #1 of your period doesn't it? Like the full flow. if so I'm on CD 7 now, but I'm not temping or anything. Argh I need to get my arse in gear! I'm too bloody impatient to wait a few months to see my cycle lengths haha :')

Mine is on its way out & should be done by tomoro - good job as well... I'm rather keen to jump DH, who has also just made a commitment to impregnate me through the shear amount of sperm that he will be depositing over the next two weeks!!
God it sounds disgusting but oddly I found him very attractive in the moment haha!! haha!
