Are you trying to get pregnant this month? Are you sick to the back teeth of sex? Would you give your right arm for a BFP? Are you spotting symptoms like an anoraked geek spots birds? Then this is the bus for you...FEBRUARY CONCEPTIONS AHOY! Grin

Hi Chickens that sounds very frustrating. I hope your GP can give you some help if you don't get your BFP before then.

UltimateDuck · 29/01/2015 17:23

sorting I'm in exactly the same situation as you.

It seems that my AF is tailing off after just 2 days and never really got going. I'm wondering whether i didn't ov this month too but don't temp or use ov sticks. This was only cycle 2 after mc for me, so maybe my body is still sorting itself out.

I want an extra good egg this month to make up for it otherwise i shall lodge a formal complaint to the ttc gods.

Lillygolightly · 29/01/2015 17:25

MissMummy HAHAHA now 10DPO makes much more sense!! and I would totally be testing at this point, I'm a sucker and can never resist testing early. I'd hold for at least an hour, or test first thing in the morning.

I tested stupidly early with DD2 but then I felt the moment of her implantation and just knew I was preggers. It was so hard to hold off testing until I knew I would get an accurate result. I don't feel as at all in tune with my body this time around though.

Snorting & Purdy Well given my not so veggie or fancy taste in food I'm on the bottom deck, but I do have plenty of Brandy for emergencies ;)

Giddymamma · 29/01/2015 17:28

Hee hee Miss, I was getting excited, Wondering why we were all bothering with the 2ww when we could just test the day after. :)

Lillygolightly · 29/01/2015 17:30

Giddymamma now wouldn't that be great!! oh what a perfect world we would live in if results came so quickly.

Chickens1987 · 29/01/2015 17:31

Thanks SortingCat

I'm hoping that my GP (Who diagnosed me with PCOS) will be helpful and help me along before the "we won't look at you until it's been a year". I feel like my body is letting me down. Yes AF is a pain in the arse but it's a woman's right and to have gone over 6 months without it is just odd!! BAH.

Sweets27 · 29/01/2015 17:42

Knit, I have nocturnal epilepsy so my husband would identify you! I have quite big seizures when they happen, and am totally spaced out afterwards with serious amnesia. I really feel for him - it's fine for me, as I don't have to watch it happening!

It's annoying, though - I've been on lamotrigine since August and the seizures are mostly controlled, but hate the medication. It also increases risk of foetal abnormalities, and I'm worried the 500mg folic acid I take isn't enough to minimise the risk. Argh.

Anyway - hope everyone else has had a lovely day. I'm really struggling to keep up with the thread! In the middle of 2WW, anyway, so just drumming my fingers and trying not to symptom-spot. It's my first 2WW, and harder than I thought it would be!

Sweets27 · 29/01/2015 17:42

*identify with you...

DizzyNorthernBird · 29/01/2015 17:45

Heya all,

Hi sparkly, yeah I'm gonna try and hang on until AF is due I think....I'm not convinced I'm pg at all if truth be told so I don't have any burning urges to do it any time soon....still no symptoms!!! Hmm

marmite when are you testing? And what about you missmummy?

AF not due until weds which means spotting will start on Monday if not upduffed. If it doesn't I may consider poas then.

lily what did implantation feel like?

I don't know which deck of the bus to sit on? I had a Greggs pasty for lunch which surely puts me on bottom deck but I also have to admit to eating Kale on at least three occasions in the last week......?!

Sweets27 · 29/01/2015 17:51

Dizzy, Greggs could be considered a slip, but frequent kale consumption puts you firmly on the top deck, I think!

MissMrsMummy · 29/01/2015 17:52

Hi dizzy just poas and it was bfn... I managed to hold me wee for 2.5 hours and it was quite pale so maybe not concentrated enough? Or more likely I'm just not pg!

PurdeyBirdie · 29/01/2015 17:53

Dizzy, what a gastronomic dichotomy! I would suggest your pasty-eating is merely an attempt to assuage your middle-class guilt by trying to get down with the council-estate kids.

MissMummy, what did your temps do today?

mummyofonesofar · 29/01/2015 17:53

Haha 1dpo Grin

Bus is moving fast. Been in a meeting all PM so just catching up.

knitfast there are always those baby pod things that go next to your bed if you wanted baby really close but safely outside of the bed.

chickens I hope you get some answers soon. That must be so hard watching the days tot up.

And I hope all you lovely lot have had a good day Smile

Lillygolightly · 29/01/2015 17:58

Dizzy

The way I would describe it is like a very localised cramp, pinch type sensation low down on my right side. I was sat on the sofa watching TV when I first felt it, and it lasted about 30 seconds and carried on at intervals of around every 2 mins for at least an hour possible 2 hours. Thing is if this had happened when I was sleeping I would have had no idea implantation had even happened so suppose I was just lucky in that I was being lazy on the sofa and noticed it.

MissMrsMummy · 29/01/2015 18:00

purdey dropped slightly but still the same level as they have been since ov... Was just trying to upload screenshot but my phone died.

MissMrsMummy · 29/01/2015 18:01

Plus I saw a few bfp charts that looked like mine so I got hopeful

Lillygolightly · 29/01/2015 18:03

MissMummy sorry about BFN, but your not out of the race yet, perhaps wait a day and then test with FMU. Will keep fingers X'd for you.

Dizzy & Purdey I'm def on the bottom deck as every since I started TTC I've been craving pasties....no idea why I never normally have them. God only knows what I will be craving if I get BFP!!!

Lillygolightly · 29/01/2015 18:05

MissMummy That still sounds hopeful if temps have stayed elevated.

Marmite27 · 29/01/2015 18:05

Testing Saturday, feels like a long way away !

PurdeyBirdie · 29/01/2015 18:07

Oh, Miss, it's torture, isn't it? Even when I started bleeding last week I convinced myself it was possibly implantation. I think we know, deep down, when it's game over but the desperation kicks in and makes us..well...desperate.

Twinkletoes007 · 29/01/2015 18:07

Lilly That's interesting. How soon after ov was that?

MissMrsMummy · 29/01/2015 18:09

purdey here's my chart

DING! DING! The February bus is departing - destination Preggsville!
Lillygolightly · 29/01/2015 18:13

Hi Twinkle If memory serves (was nearly 6 years ago) I think it was around 6/7 DPO.

Marmite good luck for testing fingers X'd its BFP!!

I'm still waiting for Ov, testing for me feels years away as AF is not due for 17 days yet.

ibeka · 29/01/2015 18:16

Fecking hell, I don't check the bus for a couple of days and end up 10 pages behind?!? God you lot natter! Have skim read most and...

crazy and accidental, I salute you my ginger friends.

tarka good hoarding skills! I have 30 piss sticks squirrelled away but 60....!

bumping along hi! I also stopped the pill on 12the December! AF came 8th Jan and I ovulated on Sunday (25th) so yours may happen soon!

sparkly, sorry you've been in pain Sad. I hope you're feeling a bit better now?

purdey, hi. Impressive work on the booze front - even if you did cause upset whilst drinking, a lot of alcoholics never find the strength/support to turn it round, so I'm glad you did Smile

ibeka · 29/01/2015 18:17

Ps I've just eaten sweet-potato falafel and roast veg cous cous... Which deck do I join Wink
