sweets, I don't want to worry you, but please, please look into how your medication could affect a baby.
My cousin suffers from epilepsy & a couple of years ago told her Dr she wanted to get pregnant. He told her that it was perfectly safe to get pregnant on her medication, but it wasn't.
The baby ended up with a lot of problems, including Spina Bifida and they were told that it was all down to her medication. They were advised to terminate, as he wouldn't survive to nine months anyway. She had to go through the horror of labour after five months pregnant, and then bury their little boy.
This time round she refused to take drugs & now they have a beautiful, healthy little boy.
I know I am coming across as a bit doom and gloomy, and am really not trying to scare you, but just trying to get across how devastating it can be. My cousin and her husband are now trying to raise awareness among pregnant women as to how epilepsy medication can affect babies, so thought I would do my bit.
On a lighter not, here you go Sparkly
. Just because you are always so encouraging and cheerful.
