Night Enjoy your spa day, hope you feel better soon.

nightandthelight · 29/01/2015 12:47

The antivirals. Am only on them for a week so might not have ovulated by then, will they still be in my system though does anyone know? Guess I should just follow doc's orders :( Will make the most of spa though!

Riceicle1 · 29/01/2015 12:47

Get well soon night and enjoy the spa Smile symptom spotting woke me up in the night with heartburn a deffinate sign of my dodgy cooking preggoness

nightandthelight · 29/01/2015 12:48

Thanks rice. Fx for everyone's bfps, don't want to see any of you on the March bus :)

Marmite27 · 29/01/2015 12:48

I made an agreement with myself not to test before AF was due because I was getting upset at the negative tests. Plus if the dip at 9 DPO was implantation there may not be enough HCG 3 days later anyway.

I have some very mild odd cramps today, they feel like they're at the front rather than the back like my normal ones. Ah well back to the waiting game!

Hairstylisttoboris · 29/01/2015 13:14

marmite I understand how horrible seeing a negative test is, as much as I love POAS seeing those negatives has crushed me a little every time.

Sparkly123 · 29/01/2015 13:27

Yeh I hear you Marmite if you can hold off great. It's just us lot excited about your chart! But if you can wait I'm sure we all can!! Ha ha

I'm losing the plot with my OPKs! Day 13(maybe) and nothing really on IC and same silly line as yesterday ok CB but no smile! Gonna AI for sure tonight. Hoping OV is just slightly later this month

tessiegirl · 29/01/2015 13:42

Oh sorry to hear you are ill night, roll onto the March bus!!

I can completely understand where you are coming from Marmite, best of luck when you do POAS

Purdey I use the Clearblue Dual Hormone opks and you are supposed to use fmu after your longest sleep it says on the leaflet

Sparkly Interestingly reading the Clearblue leaflet it says that your result cannot be read from any lines on the stick once it has been ejected from the holder and that you can only read the result from the display?? Hmm

PurdeyBirdie · 29/01/2015 13:49

We just had lunchtime sex on CD7! Not even for baby-making purposes! It was great, too! Grin

Sparkly, I agree with Tessie. I also think you'll ov a few days later than usual.

Tessie, I am amazed at that instruction.

MarysPrayer · 29/01/2015 13:57

Ooh purdey you little minx!

CD4 here I think the one week wait is just as mind numbing as the tww! Can't wait to get to the business end of this cycle.

Get well soon night Flowers

Sparkly123 · 29/01/2015 14:18

Oooft go Purdey you lucky bird! Maybe it will be THE ONE! Wink my CB and ICs say the same too.. Fmu!

Interesting re lines Tessie thanks for that. They started so faint and got darker so to me it must mean something!! Ha ha. Who knows! Def gonna AI tonight anyway!

tessiegirl · 29/01/2015 14:19

I also use cheapy internet opks and normally test between 3-4pm but I think next month I am going to start testing with those twice a day.

Purdey Wink !!!!!!

HeirToTheIronThrone · 29/01/2015 14:50

Hairstylist thanks for mention in Ovia, downloaded it at lunch and rather like it (though maybe this is because it tells me I am super fertile today which is pleasing...)

So will be quinoa for dinner and dtd for afters :)

HairStylistToBoris · 29/01/2015 15:06

heir enjoy your evening! If you temp you may get more from fertility friend. I don't temp and find via helpful especially when it goes green for sexy time :)

KnitFastDieWarm · 29/01/2015 15:58

Poor DH had a seizure last night (he has epilepsy) BUT is still insisting on some SWI action this evening...bless him! He is so excited about TTC, it's rather sweet. Smile

As an aside, can anyone advise on Preseed? I've got some Conceive Plus but it's a bit, erm, gloopy. Is Preseed any better/different in consistency?

KnitFastDieWarm · 29/01/2015 15:59

Purdey you dirty mix you! Wink

KnitFastDieWarm · 29/01/2015 16:00

mix? MINX!

fat iphone fingers...

Nomio230 · 29/01/2015 16:02

Woohoo, go purdey!

tessie The dual hormone sticks that test for progesterone & LH tell you to use fmu, but the sticks that just test for LH say not to. Confused

I am so bored at the minute. CD7, so no symptom watching obsession excitement & all I have been doing for days is packing, as we are moving at the weekend.

I need Cake

HairstylisttoBoris · 29/01/2015 16:06

nomio we are about to move to, I've just begun sorting out - hate it already!!

Lillygolightly · 29/01/2015 16:18

Hi Ladies, can I join in?

Have 2 DD's age 10 and 5 currently TTC no 3.

On 2nd TTC cycle, currently on CD14 and according to Ovia my fertile window starts tmrw. DTD last night, but keeping eyes open of signs of O which I am expecting around Sat I think. Both my previous pregnancies were in my 20's not sure what to expect TTC at 33. Conceived with little effort previously but have the feeling that this time around is going to be different.

Not looking forward to the 2WW drove myself potty last time around.

Good luck to all those waiting to test, wishing you all BFP's!!!

PurdeyBirdie · 29/01/2015 16:21

Nomio, thanks for clarifying that...I thought I was going quite mad. CB digi sticks et al test estradiol as well as luteinising hormone, which may explain their barmy instruction to test using fmu. Here is what I have consistently read about when to use opks:

'When to Test: The first thing to understand is that lh is synthesized by your body in the early morning. Hence, collecting a first morning urine sample is not recommended when it comes to the urine ovulation test. Rather, collect a urine sample in the afternoon or early evening. The amount of lh in your urine specimen should be elevated (relative to a morning sample).' Link

tessiegirl · 29/01/2015 16:29

Oh yes I know Nomio - what I'm saying is that I use fmu when using the Clearblue dual hormone sticks but I test during the day when I use regular opks.... I hope that makes more sense I probably didn't make myself very clear!!!!

PurdeyBirdie · 29/01/2015 16:31
