Are you trying to get pregnant this month? Are you sick to the back teeth of sex? Would you give your right arm for a BFP? Are you spotting symptoms like an anoraked geek spots birds? Then this is the bus for you...FEBRUARY CONCEPTIONS AHOY! Grin

Austral, a stronger line means keep going! How annoying, though.

I am still bemused as to why someone would choose to think of their husband whilst masturbating. Don't these women have any imagination? Hmm Grin

He's stopped smoking and on an e cig now, we very rarely drink and we are both on diets a seating more healthy as my BMI is 28 n my DF is 27 so both overweight but not too major n I have just lost 12 pounds m he's lost half a stone. What was the dye in tubes like? Very nervous

Wishing123 · 29/01/2015 10:13

He takes multi vitamins and cod liver oil is there anything he could take to improve morphology? And thank you they were very early on but still not nice xx

australopithecus · 29/01/2015 10:15

keep going!?!?! falls to floor utterly exhausted from shagging

PurdeyBirdie · 29/01/2015 10:44

Austral, you poor thing, I promise this opk malarkey will get easier. I'm sure it's coz you iz still bf-ing, innit.

Wishing, I love going on the operating table any excuse for a lie-down but I went under GA because I was also having a laparoscopy (camera through my belly button to investigate my tubes, ovaries and womb). What you are having is a simply flush of the tubes using dye to ensure your fallopian tubes are healthy and that they are not blocked (ie. the dye will run out). I am wondering why they are keen to do this to you when it is your partner who has a clear problem. Are they investigating the recurrent miscarriages, then?

If you have a spare tenner each moth then I would strongly advise your fella gets on co-enzyme Q10 (look on Amazon for best deals) and from your local supermarket you can buy zinc cheaply which is essential for healthy sperm. Brazil nuts contain selenium which is also massively beneficial to the fellas' spunk spermz.

I don't know why they are puttin me through the test I presume it was coz of recurrent miscarriage. My fella had a child whos 3 from previous relationship. Atm im just goin with the flow n doing what being told lol..just hope this month changes everything n I can cancel the appointments.
I will defo get them vits then thanks xxx

Wishing123 · 29/01/2015 10:48

Oh n the belly button thing doesn't sound nice x

tessiegirl · 29/01/2015 11:22

Morning everyone, loads of chat to catch up on!!

Had temp rise this morning which is good. It has just dawned on me that I could test using the Clearblue dual hormone opks twice a day...doh! For some reason it has been stuck in my head that they can only be used with fmu...I may catch my LH surge easier if I test using them twice...ah well, something to try next cycle...

My DH takes the Wellman vits and I hope that the results of his morphology would have improved by the time he has a repeat test. He had 3% morphology, 54% motility and his count was high. The only thing is he called the clinic in Harley Street in the morning and they could fit him in for the test that same afternoon so he had abstained for longer than what they recommend...I am clinging to the fact that maybe that is the reason for his morphology being lower? Who knows... Shall see what next test in April is like unless we have a bfp before then!!! Fx! Grin

Wishing123 · 29/01/2015 11:26

We only abstained from sex for 2 days before his sperm test so I'm hoping the low morpholgy was coz of that

Wishing123 · 29/01/2015 11:33

It's my birthday in a week n half so hope it's a BFP as that will be the best birthday prezzie

mummyofonesofar · 29/01/2015 11:49

Surely you will test before then. When do you plan on testing. Are you officially late today?

nightandthelight · 29/01/2015 11:56

I have been booted off this bus not by AF but by shingles :( just saw doc, been put on anti virals and told not to try this cycle! On to the March bus I go. Will keep an eye in here though because I want to see you all get your bfps :)

teacher1984 · 29/01/2015 11:58

Hi Ladies! Sad to say I'll be joining the Feb bus. AF arrived today :(

Can anyone give me any more tips as to what I can do?

Currently using OKP. And will follow SMEP to the letter again this month.
We're both eating healthy whole foods and neither of us have been drinking or smoking. I have just ordered vitamin d in case I am deficient.

Can anyone recommed a C0-Q10 for hubby? Looked on amazon but quite a small range and quite pricey?

Sparkly123 · 29/01/2015 12:02

Marmite whattt! Your chart!! Your willpower is incredible!!!

PurdeyBirdie · 29/01/2015 12:09

Night, what a bummer, I'm sorry and hope you get well soon Thanks

Teacher, I've always found Amazon the cheapest. Holland & Barrett is a disgrace - even with the absurd 1p offer. You don't get owt fer nowt, right?

Tessie, when we went for IVF the clinic told DH to only abstain for three days prior to giving his sample. For some reason I can't recollect he ended up handing over a four-and-a-half-day sample. It was the best result he had ever had Smile Do you always test for ov using fmu? I have read it's inadvisable.

Oh no night! That's quite awful! Am sorry to hear. I've had shingles. It sucked royally.

australopithecus · 29/01/2015 12:12

purdey yes. that damn lovely stupid useful fabulous awful breastfeeding thing. mopes

PurdeyBirdie · 29/01/2015 12:19

I only did the breast-feeding thing for two weeks. Ravaged with nipple thrush and a terror of a baby learning to suck for comfort or to fall asleep caused me to wimp out. My hat is off to you.

PurdeyBirdie · 29/01/2015 12:20

In other news I have made my best mulligatawny yet, using leeks and shallots instead of onion and lobbing some leftover turkey in (not leftover from Christmas, I might add Hmm)

What are you lot having for tea tonight?

PurdeyBirdie · 29/01/2015 12:21

Boris, love, yes you can expect AF imminently if you've had a chemical and it may be more painful or heavy than usual.

OP posts:
Hairstylisttoboris · 29/01/2015 12:29

purdey I don't think that was for me, unless you know something I don't?

Sparkly123 · 29/01/2015 12:31

Night sorry to hear that. Shingles sucks! However, march bus ain't long away and you will be rid of it all by then and ready for action! Take care, feel better Flowers

nightandthelight · 29/01/2015 12:32

Thanks ladies : not feeling overly ill (rash is v sore) but just disappointed to have to delay :) means I can use the Jacuzzi on my spa day though!

TheSortingCat · 29/01/2015 12:42

Oh night, sorry to hear about your shingles. March is just around the corner so not too long to wait. Is it because of the antivirals you are on, or because of the shingles itself that you've been advised to hold off on the ttc?
