I'm waiting for my first teleconference of the day to start. Working from home so wearing a shirt on my top half and PJs underneath and have the camera pointing at the only clean but of the room :)

twinkle how am I sure when I ovulate? I don't temp so I'm not sure! I guess. I do opks to check the run up to ovulation - I have to use a few on the days of ovulation as the surge is short and I missed it the first few months. Then we start baby making so checking CM doesn't work (sperm and EWCM are easily confused up there). So instead I have a root around to find my cervix, during and just before ovulation it is soft, after it becomes hard. So I ovulate in the time between 12 hours the LH surge and before it goes hard, which is a 36 hour time slot for my body. Tmi? And gross?! I spend much of my time at work on the loo with my fingers up my fanjo!!!

Hairstylisttoboris · 29/01/2015 08:12

marmite wanna borrow a test? I have a few and you should pee on one soon :)?

Hairstylisttoboris · 29/01/2015 08:16

My ovia app just gave me a recipie for quinoa. Spooky - is it reading this thread?!! I'd rather have a recipie for steak and chips please ovia :)

nightandthelight · 29/01/2015 08:39

Spent last night convinced I had meningitis! Have a very strange rash on my neck, shoulders and arm and my neck and shoulders are very stiff and sore. Have ruled out meninigitis though as this is too slow moving (am a massive hypochondriac by the way, I assume that I am dying at least once a month). Still v puzzled though, could it be an allergic reaction to the vits? Or the fish? They are the only things I have changed in the last couple of weeks.

mummyofonesofar · 29/01/2015 08:43

Could be a virus that's presenting itself as a rash. Are your glands swollen?

nightandthelight · 29/01/2015 08:48

Are they at the bottom of the neck? I do have a lump there and the soreness is at its worst in that area. I guess I should try to go to the GP but is such a nightmare trying to get an appt and I don't really feel I am ill enough to justify leaving work :(

mummyofonesofar · 29/01/2015 09:02

The ones that normally swell up first are the ones just under your jaw round by your ear and down a bit. If the glands further down in your neck are swollen too then it's your body's reaction to fighting an illness. But im without any proper symptoms they will just saw "it's a virus" wrap up and drink lots of water. Hope you feel better soon.

28 ttc#1 cycle 11 cd27 BFP due 1st feb
Hi everyone.
Usually every month without fail I have symptoms 2 weeks before AF like sore boobs being the main thing and definatly by this pain stomach cramps but I haven't had any whatsoever which is weird. I started taking folic acid this month. Really feeling hopeful so fingers crossed and to you all too.
My DF had a sperm sample and he has 1% morphology but everything else was fine. I'm goin theough having blood tests done on day 21 28 and 32 but hopefully won't have to bother Grin

nightandthelight · 29/01/2015 09:09

Thanks mummy I am just so confused as I feel absolutely fine in myself (none of the usual illness symptoms like feeling tired and weak). Just a really painful upper body :( if it hasn't gone soon will see if I can make an appt with the doc. Sorry for talking about something completely non TTC related!

Back to the real business of the thread I am CD4 and AF appears to have returned to its pre-coil length of 4-5 days so should be starting TTC in the next couple of days! So excited :) also v excited that the first of the bfps due are almost upon us!

Twinkletoes007 · 29/01/2015 09:11

blue and hair thanks. Me and the cervix definitely need to become acquainted next month! Am feeling a bit despondent today as was hoping for the temp rise but nowt happened. Was actually a fraction lower than yday and according to Ovia ov was yday (following positive OPK Monday and Tuesday morning and ewcm) so can only assume no ov this cycle. Got this niggling feeling something ain't right. Anyway early days so will buck up which will be v easy on this bus Grin

marmite I don't know much about this charting malarkey yet but wowee yours looks fab! Good luck!!!

Wishing123 · 29/01/2015 09:11

May I also add lastnight while taking a shower I had to hurry up n have a lie down as I felt really Sunoco but then it passed and 2 days ago I was eating hot and spicy mini cocktail sausages and every time I opened the fridge I could smell them and they smelt so good I wanted more it then the next morning when I opens the fridge that lovely smell hit me but it didn't half turn my stomach which I thought was weird n hopefully some sign..hope im not reading too much into this xx

Wishing123 · 29/01/2015 09:13

Was meant to say feeling sick not sanuco lol stupid phone

PurdeyBirdie · 29/01/2015 09:33

Marmite, I can trump the stick and tell you categorically you are preggo

Sammy, take the first test as most valid.

austral I think you're absolutely spot-on with your self-abuse theory but, I simply must ask: who, in the name of Kim Kardashian's grotesque are thinks about their husband when they masturbate?? Hmm

wishing what do they plan to do about your Hubby's poor morphology? Have they mentioned IVF?

loopylou1984 · 29/01/2015 09:40

That's what I thought you would say, sad times, looks like temps are on the way down then Hmm

Giddymamma · 29/01/2015 09:41

Marmite, I'm new to charts so have nothing to add other than I'm very excited for you!!

MaMaPo · 29/01/2015 09:41

I agree Marmite, that's a fab chat. Test!

Wishing123 · 29/01/2015 09:46

They said it's still possible to get pregnant it can just take time and they will retest him in 3 months as it can change all the time. I've had3 miscarriages in the past with a previous partner and it happened a lot quicker. I'm waiting for my appointment to have dye in my tubes xx

australopithecus · 29/01/2015 09:52

marmite also know nothing about charts but I am jumping on the poas bandwagon! Do it! :)
I don't know purdey. The people researchers have asked? I definitely know that I have basically the same set of storylines I use over and over again, so can relate to that suggestion. Tmi? Well, if it works, it don't need fixing! Grin

spinningirl10 · 29/01/2015 09:53

Ooh Marmite, your chart is fab! Poas Grin

australopithecus · 29/01/2015 09:56

I just opk-ed. Looked the same as yesterday morning but possibly even stronger (still not stronger than the control line though). But then last night it was all "ooh I'm a faint line now look at me fuck with your mind!" Aaaaargh!!!! sobs

australopithecus · 29/01/2015 09:58

I'm waiting for my appointment to have dye in my tubes

Well, that sounds a hoot wishing. Hmm Hope it is more fun than it sounds.

PurdeyBirdie · 29/01/2015 10:08

I've had the hysteroscopy and lap & dye, Wishing and it is a revelation (well..it was for me). I am so sorry about your miscarriages Thanks Is your partner taking supplements to try and improve his morphology? Any change in lifestyle?
