unexplained ttc grumpiness has hit today I've chewed off all of my nails and have a face like a baboons bum. Tww is pants (literally I keep checking them for signs! ) trying to read a book to distract myself, may even resort to some house work (a sure sign of depression!) a BFP this month would give a due date on my birthday - that's a positive omen, right?

Yes mary I am. Welcome to the frustration clan. About four to five weeks ago I went from bfing completely on demand to cutting out night feeds and then cutting out all day feeds except three, then two. Now doing early morning and mid-afternoon only except when not like today but it helps with teething and sometimes I jus feel like giving in because what's the point I probably am not ovulating so soon anyway Felt I couldn't wait any longer for AF to return naturally and continue on demand as DC was already 9 months at that stage (now 10) and I am late thirties so who knows what I have left in them ovaries. And we really want a sibling close in age. What about you?

I keep finding myself taking the FF charting tests in the hope it will help me work out mine when I get a full month of temping! I am getting quite obsessed....

Austral, DD is 2.3 and we feed 1st and last thing, maybe once or twice more on my days off. She was always a nightmare to get to nap but slept for relatively long stretches at night from around 5 months. This, along with solids, meant I was 'lucky' to get AF back at around 7 or 8 months (didn't feel lucky at the time though!)

AF is fairly regular but not perfectly so - think 29 days one month 26 the next. (is that technically regular? I don't know) . .

Never thought I would be still bf after all this time but have had no reason to stop, until now. I'm also late 30s (37) so I really wanna throw all I can at ttc.

Have you been on the ttc while bf thread? I keep having a look but would never be able to keep up with two chatty threads on here!

At 10 months pp, maybe AF is just around the corner?

I'm 31 next month and DH is 32 ttc#1. Stopped taking the pill 12th dec. started first period 12th jan! Lasted two weeks!! Not sure when I'll ovulate! Not temping or anything, but have got some ovulation sticks! Anyways hoping this thread bring lots of BFP for us all

I am joining you all on the OPK frustration! New one for me as usually they are exact. But not this time!! Urgh! I really should give me body a break, it's had a tough time recently but I'm angry at it - get on with it and OV!!! I'm sure my OPKs were getting darker now the IC is pretty much non-existent and my cB smiles are still just O but look at the line when I remove the test??? Anyone?!?!?! No cm yet today either. WTF!

I have a question for any temping experts. I have just started temping this month & noticed that on my first day I recorded 35.7C, but all the other days have been 36 something. Do you think my bleary eyes just read it wrongly & it was actually 36.7?

I have read that the longer is takes AF to return, the more likely it is that you are already ovulating.

purdey Why no smiley face then? And my IC has no line really and they usually correspond completely!!! I'm only CD 11( in my made up this is a real cycle..) and we AI CD 8 and last night CD 10 .. You think I should skip tonight and do Tomor following eod as per smep?? If I get a peak Tomor then the plan is do Tomor, next day, next again miss a day then one more.. Good plan or AI tonight incase the surge happens today?? Sorry for huge post!!! Has wee purdey pants been good since the early wake up call?!

mary yes, I hang around there too and on the just shagging fred because it haven't even contemplated temping or charting and am just shagging on a wing and a prayer with the help of confused OPKs and the very impressive purdey but the bfing ttc thread isn't very busy, so it would be worth popping in there for complaining about how your sore nipples are not at all related to actually being pregnant, and is probably just because DC was being excessively vigorous this morning.

Motherofone - Yes, if it doesn't happen before April then our lives would be more complicated, as I am currently abroad with my husband (who is stationed overseas on a contract), and logistically after april it would start to be super complicated.

Purdey - I know what you mean. It's totally selfish really - it's just that my best friend in the world is having her 30th in a few weeks, and it's going to be epic. It would kind of be a major downer if I wasn't able to have ANY drinks at the party! I have one cycle between now and the party, so ideally wouldn't be pregnant for that cycle then get pregnant straight after. Optimistic much?

I might have to have a huge party this weekend just in case it happens this month. Even if by some miracle of nature I got pregnant last night, a couple of days won't make any difference. It won't have even implanted by that point!

God I am going to miss drinking so much. I must sound like a right alcoholic but drinking is a huge part of the culture where I am (Spain)

Dogelove, I loved a few bottles glasses of red of a night out before falling pregnant, then immediately after Finding out I was I could not have faced a sip even for a million dollars, just the thought made me feel nauseous. Not sure if this helps or not?! Ha ha!
