Are you trying to get pregnant this month? Are you sick to the back teeth of sex? Would you give your right arm for a BFP? Are you spotting symptoms like an anoraked geek spots birds? Then this is the bus for you...FEBRUARY CONCEPTIONS AHOY! Grin

TarkaTheOtter Wow - you win!! I wouldn't return them either...

Hairstylisttoboris · 28/01/2015 12:22

tarka I bow to your better hoarding ability. 60 is pretty damn good going. I'd be checking things other than my own wee if I had 60...

With a name like tarka - India? Nepal?

PurdeyBirdie · 28/01/2015 12:25

Rainy, it would be exceptionally fortuitous to have rumpy tonight..you probably are about to ov today and the egg is capable of being fertilised up to twelve hours after it is released from the corpus luteum Smile

This morning's opk, from the trash, for purdey's perusal. Unfortunately I cleared out yesterday's trash already, so can't show the comparison with yesterday's. Hmm

In fact, I think we need an entire thread entitled For Purdey's Perusal where confused souls can upload and purdey can advise.

tessiegirl · 28/01/2015 12:43

Oooh Tarka whereabouts do you live abroad?

Now now Purdey, the pics you posted are quite insulting to Chewbacca...

Rainy34 · 28/01/2015 12:43

Thanks Purdey, will try and persuade to dtd

Sparkly123 · 28/01/2015 13:14

Wow you have been busy today!!! Perez- nutter Shock

Everyone who is confused about OPK and if they should dtd.. I would just do it! It can't hurt and may bring you a lovely BFP!

purdey 4.30am?! Confused baby purdey having a laugh?! Here's some Maca chia quinoa every superfood under the sun cake for you Cake oh and re the pain.. I went to Gp last Friday and as I had an internal scan at hosp the day the mc started she said all was fine. So I'm kinda left to just accept it I think...

dogelove · 28/01/2015 13:18

We dtd last night - our first time "trying". It felt so weird!!!!

I am actually hoping to get pregnant in my NEXT cycle not this one, but though it might be best to start a bit earlier as due to life stuff ideally I need to be pregnant before april (don't ask...) :-s

The one thing that struck me was - it's just so messy compared to usual!

Giddymamma · 28/01/2015 13:24

Hee hee dogelove! I used preseed for the first time today (cd7, probably waaay too early?!). A whole new liquid to add to the mess....

Marmite27 · 28/01/2015 13:25

I've always hankered after one and now I have a reason. Upstairs windows, I DON'T have a window cleaner.

mummyofonesofar · 28/01/2015 13:26

dogelove We are looking forward to "trying" soon, but depending on what precautions you normally take - it can be the same amount of messy!

Pregnant before April - that puts alot of pressure on. I hope you manage it. If you don't manage it by April do you have to stop trying for a certain amount of time?

PurdeyBirdie · 28/01/2015 13:30

Austral! You are about twelve hours from egg lift-off!

Sparkly, I hope the pain dissipates soon Thanks Yes, my recalcitrant chimp of a tot woke up in pain at 4.37 and couldn't be mollified by the usual stick of Blackpool rock, Stephen King's 'It' and a can of Strongbow. I brought her downstairs where - rather miraculously - the tears stopped as she sat, sucking her thumb, watching BabyTV Hmm

australopithecus · 28/01/2015 13:31

Oh sparkly I agree completely. Only, we have been DTD for five days out of eight this last week, in the hope that I am going to ovulate based on faint lines and CM, not having had a period since DC was conceived 19 months ago! I think we're losing the will to live shag!Grin

australopithecus · 28/01/2015 13:32

purdey you think?!?!?!?

PurdeyBirdie · 28/01/2015 13:33

I wouldn't stop trying for a baby for anything. Seriously, nothing is worth putting it off for (unless you're 23 with twelve years of nubile-egg-spitting-out ahead of you).

Marmite, please tell me how today's temp looks! A pic would be a treat..

OP posts:
australopithecus · 28/01/2015 13:34

Btw purdey I haven't tried "It", but found allowing DC to gnaw my chin to be pretty effective. It has left me looking like I'd fallen face first off my roller skates, but needs must.

PurdeyBirdie · 28/01/2015 13:35

Okay, so I've been trawling through FF's gallery of charts for 43-year-olds with only one fallopian tube who are not screwing like some of you wenches. Look at this beauty..she only had sex once in her cycle and it was the morning after ovulation!

Aww, I love that, Austral. I fear my tot wouldn't be able to find mine through the sprouting pubic chin hair Sad

HeirToTheIronThrone · 28/01/2015 13:39

Purdey hello! I am 32 (I think last night I said 31, this was wishful thinking!)

I have been quite despondent as been 'trying' for 7 months now, and all my friends are full of 'oh we just shagged one time and ta-da!' stories, but you ladies are cheering me right up.

If my maths is to be believed and my weirdo cycle behaves like it did last month (unlikely) I would be due on 17 Feb. We are going on our first ever all inclusive hot holiday on 20 Feb so it best work this time else DH may have a week away with grumpy sad wife...

mummyofonesofar · 28/01/2015 13:41

Wow Purdey That egg must have hung around a while. Could have been be on night shifts and morning meant 3am - would explain the inconsistent wake times?

MarysPrayer · 28/01/2015 13:42

Just being very nosy austral : are you still bf? If so then you've a 'still-bf-but-ttc buddy' here Smile
