Are you trying to get pregnant this month? Are you sick to the back teeth of sex? Would you give your right arm for a BFP? Are you spotting symptoms like an anoraked geek spots birds? Then this is the bus for you...FEBRUARY CONCEPTIONS AHOY! Grin

So fes up - how many of you have sticks ready at home so you can POAS earlier that you're meant to? I haven't bought any yet as I don't think I will be able to resist the temptation to do something silly like POAS 6dpo.

Have told OH that though our BFP is due 24/02, we may still POAS on 20/02 as it is his birthday. He is already whining about how much they cost and what a waste it will be if we do that every month!

tessiegirl · 28/01/2015 10:39

Morning ladies!! Hope everyone is ok!

Had temp rise this morning so guess it is possible ovulation happened yesterday on first peak day which has never happened before but we dtd this morning anyway and shall see what tomorrow's temp is like!

I have tracked my rough conception date back I must admit, ugh! Although its not something I think my mum would even be sure of as she didn't find out she was pregnant with me until she was already 6 months gone!! Although they do think I was late by the time I was born...

Definitely no handymen here I would grab for a quickie here...the nationals here are rather an odd looking lot...

PurdeyBirdie · 28/01/2015 10:43

Nightandtheday, I always find this a fitting response when my husband deigns to opine about time spent on Mumsnet...

Thanks for the explanation re: AI. I thought it must be some "new thing" in ttc! Silly me. Blush Grin

mummyofone I have a stash of ICs so I can POAS to my heart's content without breaking the bank. When I got my BFP last year I then went out and got a CBD to confirm it.

My window cleaner is a woman, so she'll be of little use to me in this ttc lark. Hmm

mummyofonesofar · 28/01/2015 10:45

Oops - pressed refresh and it did something weird - duplicate post reported Blush

PurdeyBirdie · 28/01/2015 10:48

Katiesnicks, you can sit at the back with all the other slags ladies who like nothing more than rumpy-pumpy day after day, after day, after day, after day, after day....

Dojo, SadCake

Sparkly, my lovely, I would go see the GP and ask for a scan to check all is well.

Twinks, what is it with these positive opks two days apart? Can I see pictures, please?

You can't bring that dwarf on here, Mary. Not unless he sits on your lap, cock.

Austral, it will be my mistake, undoubtedly. The other day I spelled spontaneity as 'spontanaity'. I almost shot myself under the chin.

Ultimate, you'll find that your luteal phase is quite short after a mc. I've checked back on my old charts and when I had my mmc I didn't ovulate at all the following month. The one after that I ovulated and my luteal phase was back to normal.

Purdey I got two positive opks on consecutive days - CD14 at 11am and CD15 and 5.30pm! I shall provide you with photographic evidence...

nightandthelight · 28/01/2015 10:57

When I POAS this month to invoke law of sod I bought three tests (only used one) so do have some in store mummy. Going away in the days before POAS due so won't take them with me to prevent temptation.

tessiegirl · 28/01/2015 11:07

mummy I have a bagful of tests in the cupboard! Only because I don't know how easy they would be to get here and I don't want the faff of desperately needing to test but not being able to get hold of one! Smile

tessiegirl · 28/01/2015 11:10

Well I'm no photographer but I can't work out how to take photos up close without coming out fuzzy? May need to wait until DH comes home to help me... Blush

MarysPrayer · 28/01/2015 11:10

purdey I almost read that as 'you can't sit on the dwarf's cock Grin (must wear my glasses more)

mummyofonesofar I bought about 8 a few hpts last month, like night I though sod's law would be my friend. Worked 3 years ago. Even bought them from the same shop. Supersticious old me.

Is feeling nauseous an ovulation sign/symptom?? I feel sick as a dog today, cd 14 and I think I do have a day pretty much every month mid cycle when I feel like this....not sure when I actually ovulate though......
maybe it's morning sickness because obviously I got upduffed during our successful dtd session last night

Mt bestie told me she's 5 ish weeks preggers this morning. I really am happy for her but oh so jealous (I didn't tell her that and thankfully she doesn't know I'm ttc)

kissinggiraffe · 28/01/2015 11:16

Get your mind out of the gutter mary Wink

HeirToTheIronThrone · 28/01/2015 11:17

Hmm, attempted to, in delightful uni parlance, 'pull a double shift' and dtd this morning as well, but DH a bit hot and bothered and tired so no, um, completion... This coupled with evil dentist from hell this morning has not improved my mood...

kissinggiraffe · 28/01/2015 11:18

tessie put a pen or ring or something in the shot. It helps the camera focus. ( I may have made that up but it's something I have in my head that is absolutely true so it's worth a shot....)

australopithecus · 28/01/2015 11:34

Can't stop laughing. You go away for an hour. People people people.
Would like to report a stronger opk line this morning! Not positive but much better than this last week's worth. So, at 8pm purdey, for the positive?

PurdeyBirdie · 28/01/2015 11:57

Heir, I forgot to say 'hello'! How old are you? Failure to ejaculate is is the worst. Such a waste of knicker-taking-down.

Yes, Austral! I wish I could see these damned opk's.

mummy I have 12 different tests of 4 different types :) I like POAS I can't help myself.

purdey your 'description' of ED sounded familiar..... Have you researched what causes this or how to manage it or anything?

Nomio230 · 28/01/2015 12:14

Morning all. Nothing to report here. Cd6, so not even time to start shagging like bunnies yet. Boring.

Good thinking on the window cleaner front, ladies. Mine is mid twenties, blond & quite cute, so might give it a go!

Purdey We have been referred for IVF & in the meantime I am carrying on with Clomid & crossing my fingers and toes. Definitely not my legs though. Grin

Rainy34 · 28/01/2015 12:15

Hi ladies , had my second peak yesterday and now back to high on cbfm is there any point in dtd tonight? , we did it last night!, x

TarkaTheOtter · 28/01/2015 12:17

I accidentally have acquired 60 internet cheapies from amazon. My initial parcel must have got delayed somewhere and appeared after the original had arrived. I didn't return them (a bit cheeky I know but I live abroad and had already paid more in postage than their actual value). I hate seeing bfns though so trying to not test until late AF.

mummyofonesofar · 28/01/2015 12:19

Hairstylist 12 ! Shock So if I get desperate to POAS I can always steal one from your pocket Go and get some Smile
