The smallprint –
Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 12+ months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot and definitely no mention of baby dust or baby dancing).
Those not abiding by the rules may be escorted from the premises.

Pipbin · 05/02/2015 18:13

Oh Gill that is so bollocks!
Bastards all of them.

WildflowerMarmalade · 05/02/2015 19:24

Gill that totally sucks. I'm not surprised you are Angry . I'd be raging.
Alternatively get your frosties in a cool bag, head overseas and get a surrogate to grow them. Wink I'm joking, but only just.

Sorry Happy I forgot to answer your question: I'm short protocol.

tigerdog · 05/02/2015 20:38

Oh gill Angry Sad as it just isn't fair! At least there is a new plan but it must be so frustrating. Hope the patches are the answer and everything falls into place this time.

Hope our PUPO ladies happy and hb are doing well. I'm keeping everything crossed for a clusterdiff.

Good luck for egg collection smidge can't quite get my head round whether it is today or tomorrow due to the time difference!

beaky I'm sending you lots of good luck vibes for your scan tomorrow. Hope things are progressing as they should be my dear!

wild where are you at? Are you feeling more cheered at the moment?

jellie exciting times ahead!

Tammy the 2ww still sends me crazy and you'd think that after 2 years of disappointment I would be more used to it!!

Not much to report here, busy at work and tired out from commuting. Seemed to have developed a tendency to spot around 7/8dpo then nothing till af which makes me feel first hopeful and then stupid. Af due on Sunday and I feel ragey and sorry for myself!

lumen · 05/02/2015 21:19

Good luck with EC smidge

I have not caved to berry pressure beaky Wink. I will call next Wednesday as planned.

Just enjoyed the first installation of this years sewing bee, am off to a two day dressmaking course myself this weekend, very excited. Just hope Friday flies by.

When are your OTDs happy and hb?

WildflowerMarmalade · 05/02/2015 21:24

Poor Tiger - spotting is the biggest head twister. The commuting must be very tough. Did MrTiger get his job sorted out yet? Once you are in the same place that will ease the strain a bit.

I am feeling much cheerier, thank you. I've got over the disappointment of not good news and I've got my head round the shift in timetable and the extra money. Never quite knowing what is going to happen and can make fertility treatment quite stressful!

I stop the norethisterone tablets on Sunday - they are supposed to help keep follies all developing at roughly the same rate. Then a few days later AF and then scans etc to star the stimming cycle.

Beaky good luck for tomorrow. What time is your scan? And update as soon as you can. I'll be checking until you tell us.

tigerdog · 05/02/2015 21:35

Glad you're back on track wild! Yes it is all very stressful. Nothing firm on MrT's job as yet, he is deciding and had another interview for something else today.

Ooh sewing bee, forgot about that lumen will have to watch on catch up. Hope your course is fabulous!

Ladies, advice please...am I crazy to be considering spending 75 quid on a month's supply of zita west vits?

Smidge001 · 05/02/2015 22:09

Oh Gil you are patient. I would be so mad at them - and the world in general. I really hope the new plan gives you something positive to think about. And after all those blood tests too! What a pita. Angry

Tiger I'm totally with you on the spotting being a mind fuck. I have decided now that spotting just = BFN, no matter when it happens in the cycle. Stops me getting my hopes up so much, and anyway, much as 'implantation spotting' might be a thing.. I've never met anyone in RL who've experienced it so I'm point blank refusing to believe it anymore. so there. No more messing with my head stoopid body

As for me, I'm already starving and I'm sure my mouth is producing enough saliva that I might as well be taking sips of water every now and then. It's 9am here in Sydney and I'll be there in about 4 hours. For the time difference the easiest thing to do is assume I'm half a day ahead. So if it's morning with you it's already evening with me. And if it's evening with you I'll be getting up the following morning unless I'm being really lazy

Smidge001 · 05/02/2015 22:10

PS Beaky I'm impressed with your pom pom juggling. Talk about multi-tasking Wink

WildflowerMarmalade · 05/02/2015 22:31

I vote that, yes, you are crazy Tiger to think of getting Zita vits (Vita?). Her stuff will no way be better and you can get good quality elsewhere for less. I recommend Solgar as they are very high quality. I get CoQ10 from an online seller called Lamberts or Nature's Best - I forget which but one is a lot cheaper!

Ooh Smidge on the way to ET. By the time we wake up you will be PUPO. Yay!

Gillster · 05/02/2015 22:43

Wild give Smidge a chance to have her eggs collected! She won't be PUPO until next week.

Thanks for the comments ladies. Enjoyed some wine this evening and looking forward to a leisurely 7am lie in tomorrow!

beakybeak · 05/02/2015 22:45

goooooo Smidge! And HB and Happy!

Good luck for EC Smidge! Let us know how you get on.

Wild I will let you guys know ASAP. I have to get back to work quick as have appointments all morning Sad so will try to update before that. Glad to hear things are moving along for you too!

Tiger fx for MrT's interview. Hopefully you will both be back together full time soon. I am hoping that spotting is a good sign for you, fx!

lumen I'm impressed with your resolve Grin enjoy your dress making course - we will all be putting in orders soon!

I'm so nervous for tomorrow, I really hope there's been some good progress with me little follies!

WildflowerMarmalade · 05/02/2015 22:49

I have every confidence in you and your follies Beaky

Gill - I just can't get my head around the time difference with Australia. They are 4.5 days ahead of us right!?

Sorry Smidge good luck for EC. And lots of love to AliG.

happylass · 05/02/2015 22:49

Good luck Smidge. Keeping everything crossed for a good haul. Will check for news when I wake up.
Wild I too was on the Norithisterone - though no one mentioned follicle growth to me. I thought the FC were just delaying AF so they could treat me when they had a spare slot!
Tiger what will you be getting for £75? I take the Zita West Vitafem which cost about £15 per month. Could you maybe get some of the stuff but not all?
Beaky good luck for your scan tomorrow. Hope all the pom pom waving has done the trick!
Lumen OTD is the 16th. Bit of a dilemma though as I'll be in London for a lovely break with DH for my birthday. We leave really early on the 14th (my birthday) so do I test then and risk ruining my birthday but be able to drown my sorrows or do I enjoy the weekend, test when we get back but I may have had a dry birthday for nothing?!? What to do Berries?!?

OP posts:
beakybeak · 05/02/2015 22:50

Forgot about tigers very expensive vits there... Well yes if you feel you really want to go for it, but what do they have that others don't? I do totally dote on Zita though so if had the cash I probably would Confused but Wild gives good advice here

Gill enjoy your lie in! So sorry you didn't get to go ahead this time. I really hope it works out next time.

Also berries, when I dish out "sage advice" in the future, please bear in mind I'm a total enabler. Sorry in advance.

Pipbin · 05/02/2015 22:52

Good luck Smidge.

HampshireBlues · 05/02/2015 22:55

Good luck Smidge I hope that EC is smooth and you are up and eating in no time.

Beaky have everything crossed for your scan tomorrow.

Lumenenjoy the dress making; I am sure that we are all looking forward to seeing the fruits of your labours.

OTD is Monday and I have to say berries I am not hopeful but still looking at myself in the mirror every time I have a doubt and talking myself back into positivity. This evening has been a struggle though and I am tearful again (sore boobs are gone). It is going to be a long weekend; perhaps I will just hibernate.......with the dog.....

beakybeak · 05/02/2015 23:01

Aww HB hugs. I really hope it is a positive result for you. Hugs to you and your puppy.

Happy that seems like ages away! I can't get my head round testing dates after transfers. I'd be tempted to do the Saturday because I wouldn't want to test on a work day. Do you have to go to the clinic for a test though?

Thanks for the good lucks berries Smile

happylass · 05/02/2015 23:06

No Beaky I just have to POAS. I'll still be in London on the Monday as it's half term so no problem there. I just can't decide whether to risk ruining the weekend or leave it until we get back but then I may have laid off the booze for no reason! My FC sets OTD 2 weeks after ET. That's ages though, especially as I had a day 5 ET. I could get an accurate result way before that but I won't be tempted

OP posts:
Pipbin · 05/02/2015 23:07

I would test on the Sunday.
My fantastic work gave me OTD off! Either result I don't think I could have gone to work.

Gillster · 05/02/2015 23:08

Good luck Beaky go follies! Hoping for an excellent haul Smidge. Keeping everything crossed HB and hope the next couple of days are bearable.

Smidge001 · 06/02/2015 06:32

Hello there. I'm back home with hot water bottle and not feeling so sick this time thankfully. They got 8 eggs but that should read 6 really as apparently two of them were really small so very unlikely to mature. AliG was a bit disappointed as apparently I had 12-15 follicles so she had hoped for more eggs. Sad. 6 seems low given our usual rate of drop off, so I'm quite disappointed to be honest. Was interested to hear from MrSmidge that the first two follies didn't have eggs in as I think they were the bigger follicles. Makes me think we should have stimmed for longer to get the others up to size, but of course you can't know that at the time. Hey ho. It is what it is so there's nothing I can do now. MrSmidge has been super good this time around with diet, alcohol and vitamin intake, plus he used some form of homemade Smidge porn Shock instead of their selection so I'm hoping that will yield top notch spermies who might recognise the eggs, ha ha!! Barry White get croonin'.

Happy you could definitely test earlier than their date. I thought my 11 days post 5dt was late enough.

Pipbin · 06/02/2015 07:04

Sounds hopeful Smidge. 6 is a good number and as all berries know it only takes one. I love that he took his own grumble with him. DH never talked much about the selection on offer.

happylass · 06/02/2015 07:12

Morning (or evening!) Smidge and well done you. Please don't be disheartened - remember it's quality not quantity. No good having loads of eggs if they aren't going to do anything. I actually had more left on day 5 on my first cycle when I had less eggs.

Hope you're being looked after, take it easy for the next few days. Grin at 'some form of homemade Smidge porn'
