Awww, DS's little chubby feet are so cute Cupcake and he looks so laid back there.

DH has got himself very worried and drove me toGP - about 250m because I feel so weak. He insisted we saw my GP. She is so nice. The place was empty apart from people picking up late prescriptions.

She thinks I have a virus. Nothing to worry about, not an infection. Baby is fine and not budging. Was very lively and heartbeat very good. My BP was fine and my temp. Said just to take things easy, drink plenty of fluids, eat light stuff when I feel up to it but not to worry about lack of appetite. Baby has plenty of fat by now and won't be hurt by me. not eating for 48 hours.

So I am tucked up on the sofa with a throw and a cat and a cup of tea. DH is scoffing the last of the fresh cream sponge from yesterday.Christmas lights on and we are watching Great Expectations Xmas Grin

What is your work like on Christmas Day? it is one of those jobs that is every day isn't it but Christmas must be special there.

I feel a bit better actually. Have had a shower and some soup and the cats are in heaven because DH has given them my portion of chicken. I am going to have some custard later.

I have been a bit weepy because of my mum as well- first Christmas without her and that is hard.

But I have got my big girl pants on - and they are big at the moment [ fgrin] and DH is just being lovely and cheering me up.

That must be so difficult for you lulu, I would be lost without my mom. Are you feeling better towards DH now?

Tori hope you have a good day tomorrow. Sounds very festive Smile

Cupcake92 · 24/12/2014 19:48

Aw bless Lulu hope u feel better soon, but I'm glad it's not an infection or worse. Take it easy!

Tori I hope work isn't too bad tomorrow and goes quick for u.

DH is being a effing awful idiot tonight!! Being so so mean to me!! And in a foul mood. I asked him to cheer up as its ment to be Xmas n a special time for Ds and he told me to stop being a pathetic idiot and to shut up.

Sick of him sometimes.

Yes Ducky. Things are fine with us. Back to normal. He didn't deserve my horrible mood but it seems to have gone.

He has been adding presents one by one when he thinks I don't notice, to the ones under the tree. He's really excited. There are some for me and a couplefor the baby- one of them is very large for the baby. I am envisaging a blow up musical Bradford City player that plays lullabies. Xmas Grin

He has had a good look, shake and feel of all of his presents and made lots of guesses. Honestly!

Cupcake - I expect DH is upset and, as usual, does not know how to handle it.

LuluJakey1 · 24/12/2014 20:20

Tori- hope tomorrow goes well at work.

I have eaten a chocolate! Hope it doesn't disturb my stomach again.

Ducky23 · 24/12/2014 22:36

Ohhh cupcake he is a knob Angry after what you have been through and at this time of year Sad yes he is probably upset but he should be supporting you (although with my 'h' I can't say much! Confused)

Lulu glad your feeling back to normal with DH Smile

Hope everyone has a lovely day tomorrow, it will be a very strange day for me I think as at the start of the year I pictured Christmas with my little girl, she's not going to be here but I have her beautiful perfect little brother Smile took him to her grave for the first time today Sad

I am tucked up in bed. DH. is watching 84 Charing Cross Rd downstairs. I am going to try and get another goid night's sleep.

Happy Christmas everyone. Hope it brings you lots of nice things.

Cupcake92 · 24/12/2014 23:34

DH is sat on his ps4.

I tidied the whole house tonight. And sorted all the presents under the tree. DH just wanted DS to go bed so he could go on his game.
Had a little cry tonight as I forgot I'd brought a pack of 'alcohol free cider' to take to families house tomorrow as we were going to announce the pregnancy in a jokey way with the cider.
It's weird as we have a bottle of wine but I couldn't bring myself to drink any, so I've had a alcohol free cider instead :(

Just looking forward to seeing DS's face tomorrow morning :) he's going to have an amazing day. He hated the snow play today tho haha! He cried the whole time because he was cold and wet! :p

Hope everyone has a really good day tomorrow! :) those who have little ones treasure the moment with them and make them feel special. :) and those with one on the way make the most of a peaceful Xmas! Next year will be crazy! :) :) :)
Merry Xmas everyone!!

He looks so grown up cupcake!

We are with DSis and family - DD was still snoozing at 7, but DNephew had been up since 5:30 so we thought we'd better wake DD up! She loves all her presents, especially her Lego! I have new snuggly pyjamas that (just!) fit over bump so I'm all cosy!

Merry Christmas one and all Xmas Smile

LuluJakey1 · 25/12/2014 19:23

Hope you have all had a lovely day.
DS is very handsome Cupcake. Glad he liked his tent. He looks very grown up there.

I am not much better today. I just feel awful. Am aching all over - neck, legs, arms, hips, just really achey and stiffl. Can't bear to be warm but am so cold.
Have eaten a piece of toast to placate DH but even the thought of food makes me want to throw up.

DH is beside himself with me. He has been so lovely trying to be cheerful but he is just worried.

We got up about 10 and He had to help me into the shower, I was so achey. Anyway, once I had clean PJs and socks on and my hair was dry, I felt a bit better. We opened the presents. He has been so thoughtful and there was something for me from my mum. She always bought me my favourite perfume and he had wrapped it up and found a gift tag I had kept from last year from her. That made me cry. He was delighted with all of his presents and the baby's presents. He has bought him one of those baby chairs they have been advertising on MN from Mamas and Papas.Baby has some lvely outfits from MIL and SIL- very stylish.

Our funniest presents were from GMs. DH got a frilly apron for his baking from one and I got an XL long sleeved thermal vest - 'for feeds on cold nights'

The big jar with bits of paper in turned out to be my favourite present. It has a note in for ever day from today until next Chrismas Day from him. I can only read one a day but he has promised they are all funny or romantic- but he said he had to repeat a few because he got stuck and some are quotes from poems or songs.

So no food, chocolates or alcohol or fun and games but we have still had a lovely day. Hope you all have too.

iamthedivergentbuddytheelf · 25/12/2014 21:10

aw lulu that sounds a lovely day apart from you still feeling ill. Sounds similar to a virus my youngest had a few months ago she was so lethargic and barely aTe or drank for over a week Sad she went to hospital on dr advice and spent half the day under obs but we got her home as they managed to stabilise her blood sugar levels. she picked up and was back to normal about 4 or so days after that Sad

we had a good day, lots of visitors but had dinner ourselves which is first time in 6 yrs! dds loved their gifts Smile

im really swithering atm about this ttc if I'm honest - that's us nearing the end of cycle 13 and not a missed period yet, I'm due on on Saturday and all the signs are already here. I think I might give myself a deadline and if it doesn't happen by them I'm stopping because it's all I seem to think about and sex is just clinical for me now because of it Sad I feel so lucky to have two children, a third would be a blessing but is not a necessity, I'd be speaking to the Dr about being sterilised as I honestly can't go back on hormonal contraception!

just say here with some choccies and watching superman with dh chilling out

Lulu sounds like a lovely day apart from feeling ill. Your dh's gifts sound so thoughtful

Iam have you spoke to your gp? I beleive they can do tests if you are TTC for over 12 months.

Tori sorry about your ratty Sad we had our last one pts which broke my heart but he had a massive Tumor on his head Sad he was okish at the time but would have suffered a lot if we didnt make that decision. Give the rest a big cuddle Smile

LuluJakey1 · 25/12/2014 22:01

Oh Tori, that's sad. Poor little thing. Sorry that has happened and you have. lost him.

Have you had a good day Ducky? What have you done?

I just feel crap really.

Cupcake92 · 25/12/2014 22:27

Ttc sucks I've decided.

I'm at the stage that my dds are 10 and DD2 is nearly 7 so the age gap is huge, already DD1 will be 11 no matter what and about to start high school - the way it looks now I could have one at college, one at high school and one in primary school which is a crazy thought Hmm im rambling, I think I'm trying to talk myself out of it now Hmm im going to have to have a long sit down and really think it all through Sad

hope everyone is recovering from yesterday Smile

21questions · 26/12/2014 12:34

Iam I'm in the same kind of situation as you although I havent been ttc quite as long as you I understand how you feel. Af arrived again for me today so that's me out again on cycle 7. I am wondering if my body is trying to tell me something. Dh has surgery next week so he is probably not going to be upto ttc this cycle anyway.

I only have one dd and she will be 10 soon so it's quite an age gap. Maybe I just have to accept we waited too long.

Anyway we are having a lazy day today might go for a walk later. Hope everyone is ok and not too stuffed from yesterday.
