Still here, still struggling on, still hoping to get there in the end. Come on ladies, we'll all get our BFPs in 2015 (if not before)!

Well done tweej, you have more willpower than me! I'll probably cave and poas tomorrow at 11dpo to get the disappointment out of the way... (or at least most of it). Trying very hard not to read anything into the occasional cramps I'm having as all the other signs are exactly the same as always.

In other news, my DD seems to suddenly have reverted to separation anxiety at the age of nearly 5! Last couple of times when DH and I went for a night out (which happens once a month at most) she cried her eyes out and said she didn't want us to go, and now the same thing happened this morning because I said I had to go into the office for work today. Not exactly the best start to the day.

Yes, well done tweej! No sneaking to the shops to buy more in the meantime.

And 11dpo is always when I crack too metal. I definitely got a bfp with ds (and the pgs before him) at 11dpo so I figure with a decent early test that should be enough. Tough times with your little one though -funnily enough, mine is similar. He's only just four but really freaks out at the thought of both of us going out. Or even just me going out sometimes. Hopefully just another phase. We've resorted to bribery...

BurningGubbins · 03/03/2015 19:15

This is where the benefit of being a tightarse kicks in - I never test until maybe a couple of days after period is due because I don't like forking out!

chendy78 · 03/03/2015 19:16

How many cycles are you up to now, metal? I know I've not been as long as some of us on here, this will be 8 for me, but know how disheartening it's already feeling x

Metalhead · 03/03/2015 20:14

This was cycle 10 since my mmc, though due to long cycles it's actually been a year. In total we've been trying for 18 months and 14 cycles - God that's depressing!

Abandoning my diet tonight for Domino's 2 for Tuesday pizza after my train home was delayed and can't be arsed to cook right now...

Tweej · 03/03/2015 20:58

Oh pizza yum,

Gonna try not test and wait till Af is due, although every app is giving me a different date. Off to see Consultant for fertility chat tomorrow afternoon. I'll uodate.

Good luck poas metal. Fingers crossed x

Metalhead · 04/03/2015 09:14

No surprises here this morning - BFN. With absolutely zero symptoms I wasn't expecting anything else. Instead I've come down with a cold - bleurgh!

Good luck with your appointment today tweej, I hope the consultant has something useful to say.

LittlePoot · 04/03/2015 15:57

Oh rubbish. Sorry metal. x

BurningGubbins · 04/03/2015 16:38

Sorry to hear that Metal. How are you feeling about it all? You seemed a bit resigned to it last week.

I'm on cycle 14 too. Balls.

Metalhead · 04/03/2015 17:06

Thanks girls. Still feeling pretty resigned to the fact it's not going to happen for us, but I think that's a good thing as I'm far less down in the dumps than I was last month when AF showed up. Just gonna try and focus on the positives of having only the one! Smile

Sorry about bfn metal.

Weird day today. Went to Consultant and she did an ultrasound, said it looks like I'm definitely ovulating as my post ovulatory endometrium looked very healthy. Told me I looked a bit thin and to put on weight. Would consider myself very normal weight range. Told me not to worry and fate has a roll to play in all of this.

Asked if I should focus dtd throughout month or in fertile window etc. told me to forget about all of that and go home and enjoy my husband and child.

Will check my prolactin and thyroid bloods next week and see me in July if I'm not pregnant.

Not sure what to think or feel

chendy78 · 04/03/2015 19:47

Hmm, fate doesn't sound very scientific :/ On the other hand great that you're ovulating. Am losing track of who's where in the window, I'm not due for another 5 days. Tempted by a first response tomorrow but they're so expensive, and know it's too early and i'll keep testing- the sensible thing to do is wait till Saturday. But the test is upstairs and I have no willpower. .. DH will be frustrated if i test again too early. Men just don't appreciate how stressful limbo is, from wine to coffee to cheese, can i, can't i.id that a symptom of pregnancy, PMT or am i imagining the whole thing? Grrrrrr.

kaffkooks · 04/03/2015 20:36

Hello, can I join you? I have a son who is 27 months. He was conceived very quickly after an early miscarriage. Given that I had conceived so quickly both times, I stayed on the pill until I was absolutely sure we were ready for another but now it's been 4 months and nothing. I thought I was pregnant at the end of Feb but period was just late and that made hubby and I more upset than I thought we would be. Found mumsnet very supportive 3 years ago after miscarriage so thought I would return.

GoodEggMightMaterialiseAnytime · 04/03/2015 21:29

Sorry about the bfn Metal.

That sounds like a very peculiar appointment Tweej, what a vague thing to say. But yes, def a good thing you are ovulating, it's a good start!

I don't even have tests in the house CHendy, I've never even made it to 14 dpo so until that happens I'm not going to bother.

Welcome Kaff, hopefully your stay here won't be too long.

kaffkooks · 04/03/2015 21:58

Goodegg, I totally agree about not keeping tests in the house. I wait at least a week until buying one.

chendy78 · 04/03/2015 23:27

Welcome, kaff! I had a spare as bought a 2 pack last month which obviously was bfn then af putting in an arrival. Trying not to think about it too much but very difficult, am more hopeful this month than last. Mentioned it to DH and he still wants to wait until Sunday but sooooo tempting!

chendy78 · 04/03/2015 23:29

Sunday will be 14 dpo!

BurningGubbins · 05/03/2015 10:15

Think I'm out for this month - I seem to be getting the signs. It was a long shot, but still disappointing. I need to make an appointment (with a different GP) to get my blood test results back next week, so that's the next thing. Have been feeling a bit blue and generally run down, so this doesn't help.

Welcome Kaff. Hope it's a short stay.

Stay strong CHendy!

chendy78 · 05/03/2015 18:44

Starting to think my symptoms are PMT as I'm irrationally really annoyed with the world and everything in it today. Thinking I'm not pregnant is, of course, making me even more cross. Ha!

Metalhead · 05/03/2015 21:34

I've just been to the loo and found some pink when I wiped. If I had even the tiniest pregnancy symptom my mind would be screaming 'implantation!' at me right now - but I don't, so it's probably just AF making an early appearance or my body's latest way of pissing me off...

OP posts:
BurningGubbins · 06/03/2015 06:19

I'm out. Sad

chendy78 · 06/03/2015 07:36

Oh, so sorry gubbins. That's rubbish. Are you ok?
Metal, fingers crossed for you, you never know. Hard not to think about it, though. When are you due on?
Think i might poas tomorrow, that'll be 2 days before I'm due (ish, cycle can vary by 2 days). Just want to know one way or the other! x

Metalhead · 06/03/2015 07:37

Me too burning, AF has turned up 2 days early. WTF?! If my LP starts going haywire as well now I truly will be fucked. Angry

OP posts:
chendy78 · 06/03/2015 08:30

Sorry metal. X

chendy78 · 06/03/2015 10:50

Think I might be on way out too, very crampy :(
