Still here, still struggling on, still hoping to get there in the end. Come on ladies, we'll all get our BFPs in 2015 (if not before)!

Ah a little girl. That's such lovely news.

Update on Clearblue situation. So this morning I got a solid smiley. I went from blank to smiley so it can happen. No flashys for me. Luckily I am very suspicious and backed them up with ics, this mornings ic wasnt as dark as last nights. So think my egg is on the way.

We dtd twice yesterday, will go again tonight and then tomorrow. What do people think? Feeling positive about this month but want to make sure ive covered all my bases. OH feels like he had a good reserve yesterday in comparison to last month. We shall soon see.

Hows everyone today.

LittlePoot · 23/02/2015 16:16

Loves -what gorgeous news, thanks for coming back and sharing! I wonder if they're right about the gender or whether a little additional clue will suddenly become visible at your 18 week scan..... Either way, fantastic news and hope all continues to go well.

All this talk of shagging is making me glad dh is away for a week.... A well earned rest!

BurningGubbins · 23/02/2015 18:56

Today and tomorrow and then we're done. Optimistic maybe as +opk was on Saturday when I was away. H has tonsilitis and I'm in the middle of a Footner sesh so sexy we are not!

Metalhead · 24/02/2015 13:20

Hmm just as I've cancelled my acupuncture as I thought it wasn't working for me I seem to have no sore boobs post ov this month (which is one of the things she'd said the acupuncture would help with)... Confused

OP posts:
LittlePoot · 24/02/2015 14:13

Yes - but that could be from taking soy at a different time (or for some other, small and growing reason...). If you want to do it 'scientifically' then you could do one more month acupuncture but without the soy, assuming you need another month Wink. Otherwise, I'd just enjoy the absence of pain and not worry too much. x

LittlePoot · 24/02/2015 14:20

And Burning - what is Footner? Do I want to know?!

Metalhead · 24/02/2015 15:14

I'm not worried as such little, it's probably just a weird coincidence! And anyway, most places recommend a course of treatment for 3 cycles so I've already done more than that - maybe the last session finally "fixed" me, and if not then I'm probably beyond help! Grin

Congratulations loves! And into the 2ww we go..... luckily got crazy busy fortnight ahead which am hoping will help the waiting! X

BurningGubbins · 25/02/2015 06:34

LittlePoot - Footner is essentially a chemical peel for your feet. You buy it from Boots, put on a pair of plastic socks with goop in them for an hour, then wait a week. Basically your feet then fall off but the skin underneath is beautifully smooth. The peeling bit takes a few days, which is what I'm in the middle of. I didn't really think the timing through our I probably wouldn't have subjected my husband to it this week... Hope you're all enjoying your breakfast!

We're done for the month too. I used soy this month but I've not noticed anything different - no ov pains or anything...gah...

Metalhead · 25/02/2015 14:22

I've just read that after a year of ttc your chances of conceiving are just 5% per cycle... might as well throw in the towel now! Hmm

OP posts:
Tweej · 25/02/2015 15:57

Really,

God that's a depressing statistic. All well here. Started tww today. Weird cycle, had a lot less dtd but more around the key days. Hoping it will make a difference.

LittlePoot · 25/02/2015 19:13

Footner definitely doesn't sound like an aphrodisiac! And that really is a crappy statistic - where did you read it? 5%. Pah! I'm about 8 ish dpo which is just about when I start getting a bit crazy imagining symptoms or lack of symptoms. Guess it's only a couple more days before I can pee on that last frer in the cupboard and put myself out of my misery....

Metalhead · 26/02/2015 12:41

little it was an Australian website, something like Infertility ABC. But if you google "chances of conceiving after 1 year ttc" you'll come across a lot of similarly bleak statistics...

When are you going to poas? Fx it's a BFP for you! I'm only 5dpo so still got at least a week to wait.

OP posts:
LittlePoot · 26/02/2015 18:21

I'm not sure when to pee -Saturday would be the earliest I guess but I was thinking of waiting to see if I actually get an actual symptom, rather than just poas because I can't resist. So far only symptom is no symptoms (boobs not sore). That would have been cause for excitement but I had the same last month so it must just be a new hormonal phase for me. If I wake up in the early hours needing a wee on Saturday or Sunday then that could be more hopeful. But even that has happened a few months over the past couple of years with no success so I have no hard and fast symptoms to look for. Will let you know.

LittlePoot · 26/02/2015 19:08

omg I have an interview for that new job!

Metalhead · 26/02/2015 19:23

Yay, how exciting! When is it? That should help to take your mind off things a bit (and maybe tempt Sod's law...).

OP posts:
LittlePoot · 26/02/2015 20:29

Its in three weeks, and sods law would be very welcome! I'm going to have to do such a lot of prep and practice for this one.

chendy78 · 27/02/2015 18:40

Well done, little, that's really exciting!

Tweej · 27/02/2015 19:03

Well done little, go you. How's the tww everyone x

Metalhead · 27/02/2015 19:31

Getting on my nerves already tweej! Another week to go. Not very hopeful as I have absolutely zero symptoms (even though my rational brain knows it's still too early for any). How about you?

OP posts:
Tweej · 27/02/2015 20:04

Same Metal, had a busy week in work which helped with my ttc obsession. Unhelpful advice from a friend last night, she herself was a maniac trying to get pregnant but clearly doesn't remember that. Told me to not think about it and boom it will happen. Hmmm.

No symptoms here either.

LittlePoot · 27/02/2015 20:24

Whereas I'm full of symptoms -indigestion, cramps, no sore boobs (when I usually do by now), but I looked back and exactly the same happened last month with no bfp so this must just be what pmt looks like these days. This is my worst day -the day before a frer should work when my mind goes into overdrive. I even googled the maternity policy for my non existent pregnancy in the job I haven't got yet. Loon! Will probably test in the morning, although might try and hang in until Sunday as I only have one test. Due Tuesday I think -on my birthday. Nice!

Tweej · 27/02/2015 20:55

Oh good luck Little let us know. Fingers firmly crossed we could do with a success story x

Metalhead · 27/02/2015 21:04

Fx for you little!

OP posts:
chendy78 · 27/02/2015 22:41

Good luck, little! You're being very strong not doing it today. I'm pretty sure I"m just hallucinating symptoms- the slightest tummy twinge or tingly boob and I'm googling. Saddo that I am! :-/
Biggest early symptom I had was trippy dreams, can't say I've noticed any change but then DS has discovered the terrible 2s so so ruddy exhausted don't think I'd dream anyway!
Let us know how you get on, little, everything crossed for you xx
