Deet is probs v harmful as it is truly toxic.... Maybe something natural? Long sleeves etc should be ok?

toots I didn't know deet was harmful too. Hmm, I could just keep my jacket on but I'll definitely be outside at both dusk and dawn as that's when we arrive and depart.

Hmmm it would seem I've skipped ov and the 2ww and gone straight to af.....wtf!!!!! Only cd 16 so if this really is af I won't definitely won't be taking soy next cycle. I just hope my cycle returns to normal

Bluesky avon skin so soft dry oil spray is meant to be excellent at repelling insects, due to the combination of essential oils it contains. Might be worth a try.

Oh Spinning is it definitely AF? Couldn't be that you ov'd early and implantation? Hopeful thinking!!

I don't know if it's really af, I've felt like af was on her way last couple of days but discounted it because it's so early so when I wiped and saw brownish blood I'm guessing it's af. Just have to wait till morning and then I'll know for sure. I can handle it being af so long as the soy doesn't mess any further cycles up and they return to normal!!

Spinning we've moved around 2 hours away from where we were. Lots to do on the house we've bought but it's great to finally own a home! I hope it's not AF for you. I was cautious about trying SI this cycle but I don't think I ovulated the past two cycles and I appear to have a much more normal temp chart this month. If it is AF will you avoid the SI next time? It's so tough not knowing what's going on with your own body.

Joey you have made me see it in another light, i just thought she was trying to rub my face in it, so maybe she wasn't, good luck to her if she does fall quickly , she maybe just as naive in thinking that will happen quickily as i did when i first began trying

Am CD10 today no +opk yet and both had colds so haven't dtd much, in fact only dtd this morning as I was trying to get rid of my headache

poor dh said to me today he felt best when dtd every 3 days, pointed out that if he wanted me upduffed he would have to do it more than that

Would it be too optimistic to think that you could have ov'd on cd10 and that this is implantation bleeding Spinning?

Thanks for all your kind messages today ladies. They mean a lot. I'm still feeling down, but I'm sure that with time I'll learn to deal with the baby boom around us and regain my positivity.

I'm going to have a bit of a me post as I haven't had chance to catch up yet. Would 3 days post ov be too early for symptoms.

Had a firework party and my goodness tummy cramps are awful I've never had any like it. Plus I really wasn't fussed about drinking I had too much but could have left it easily it's just because it was there and all around me were drinking. I didn't see any reason for not drinking this early when it's highly unlikely i am pregnant this month.

Cariad, I honestly don't know, all I can do is wait and see what morning brings. I'd love for it to be implantation bleeding but in reality I know I poas (opk) at least twice on cd10 and it was most definitely negative.

No I won't use si next cycle, dp and I are going away for 1 week in about 10 days so if cycle returns to normal it would be perfect timing

Not much to report here. I am usually very crampy during my luetal phase, but nothing so far. Not sure if that's a good or a bad sign.

I hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday night. I'm trying not drinking for the whole of this cycle and all I can think of tonight is g&t.

Lovemyboy I've been using the cb opks I had 5 days of flashing smileys then one peak smiley and I'm presuming I ov the day after that one

Ooh Beautician I have super strong cramps too and I'm 2-3dpo. I'd like to think it's a symptom but I think you're unlikely to have any symptoms until after implantation at around 7dpo.

Spinning fx for either implantation (plan A) or a perfectly timed trip away with your dp (Plan B).

Frolic no symptoms is definitely a symptom!! What you need to do is write BFP and BFN on pieces of paper and get Frolicdog to point to which one is correct this cycle (putting some ham under the BFP is perfectly acceptable)

I'm sure most people are good, kind people. And most of the time they try to say good, kind things. Unfortunately, sometimes they can be misinterpreted and cause offence. (And sometimes people can be deliberately nasty.) I try to assume the best of people and hope they would of me because I know that sometimes what comes out of my mouth is not at all what I intended!

I had some spotting earlier today. Just a bit of pinkish stuff when I wiped. I got spotting at the same time last month, so I'm not hopeful. I fear that AF will be on her way in a couple of days. ignoring the possibility of implantation bleeding I was feeling pretty blue, but had a nice chat with DH about it and that cheered me up a bit - a problem shared etc. He also wants to look into taking vitamins next cycle if necessary and has been reading up on what he can do to help his sperm.

bluesky, I used to have a horse and we used Avon skin so soft spray with tea tree oil to keep away the flies. Others use deet on their steeds but I always thought if it smelt that bad, it couldn't have been good on my boy's skin. Other thing I used was vinegar and tea tree but I don't think that's necessarily a nice human odour...

Just popping in to say I'm not feeling too good with an upset stomach. May have already ovulated but if not we won't catch it as not dtd while I'm ill.
Also if not pregnant this month we will probs have next month off.
I think i need some time away from ttc.

I'm sooooo crampy. But I also feel nauseous. Very nauseous in fact. Which never normally happens until about 7-8 weeks in. So maybe I'm just sick! Who knows. I'm trying hard not to read too much into every twinge but failing quite miserably. The truth is: I'm almost as apprehensive of getting a bfp than I am of getting a bfn...!
