Magrat - that's rubbish...fx it was too early maybe?

Frolicacid · 04/11/2014 20:13

I've not done a great job of reading back tonight. Nice to see new names. I hope everyone has had a good Tuesday? I have been on fire today! Great day at work then came home and made a yummy, yummy new dish for dinner as well as sticking tomorrow's dinner in the slow cooker and making our sandwiches. I also walked frolicdog, the fertility wander dog! So much energy. I may have to start the day with some dtd more often!!

I hope all the ovulation dancing is going well?

blueberry, lovely to hear you are feeling more positive today. Fx af hurry's up out of the way so you can get on with more shagging Wink

spinningirl10 · 04/11/2014 20:16

Magrat, sorry you got a bfn, it sucksThanks

I wish I could wave a wand and we could all get our bfp's.

ohlordyplordy · 04/11/2014 20:19

Fx a bit too early magrat.
Just had a giggle, asy phone home screen details my location via gps and it currently thinks that I'm in 'Cock Alley' appropriate, lol.
Done an opk after work and still no +ve. We're going to be shattered, started dtd cd8 based on usual ov date cd13 and now cd15 with no end in sight.

Orangeisthenewbanana · 04/11/2014 20:20

Sorry about your bfn Magrat Sad Utterly rubbish.

Welcome to all the newbies!

spinningirl10 · 04/11/2014 20:21

Frolic, good to hear the fertility wonder dog is getting his exercise! what was your new dinner?Grin

I made a new dinner tonight, sweet potato and lentil curry, it was yummy. I also made a beef casserole for tomorrow night, just got to add dumplings tomorrow, I hate dumplings but dp loves themGrin

Frolicacid · 04/11/2014 20:35

Wwww spinning, I like your style. We have been eating a big pot of sweet potato, cauliflower and lentil curry for the past few days - scrummy.
Tonight I made something called pepperato. Basically stewed peppers and tomato. It was unbelievably tasty. DH is veggie, so we had it with oregano roasted chickpeas. I got the recipie from a great book we have called 'the vegetable bible', but there are loads of recipes if you google.
We are trying to be healthy atm and eat lots of veggies. We have had way to many meals out and take away's recently. I could do with loosing a stone as well. I am drooling at the thought of home made beef casserole. I never bother cooking much meat at home due to dh being awkward veggie.

Frolicdog really enjoyed her evening walk as she missed out this morning due to my fertilisation needs Grin

CoffeeOne · 04/11/2014 21:12

Evening all. Doing a better job of distracting myself this month although at CD21 I'm waiting impatiently for my ovulation pains to tell me we're on track. Dtd every day for the past few days and probably until the weekend. After that I'm hoping to put my energy into something, anything else so I don't end up obsessing like last month!

broodylicious · 04/11/2014 21:16

Ladies, what do we think to implantation pain? Is there such a thing? I've had a fair few sharp prods in the ovary region today (4dpo), as well as heavy feeling, tender boobs and incredible fatigue and dizziness (so much so, I'm going to docs about the latter as I thought I was going to pass out in Pets At Home or, even worse, on the M1 back home Hmm).

CoffeeOne · 04/11/2014 21:20

broody I had strong cramping around implantation in my first pregnancy, it felt very much like AF was arriving a week early. Not sure about sharp prods but anything that's unusual for you could be a good sign :)

Thepurplegiraffe · 04/11/2014 21:31

Broody I had quite a few cramps this month, can't remember when they were but think some started quite early.

Frolicacid · 04/11/2014 21:34

Giggles at cock alley lordy. I think way may all be living there at some point this month Grin

Cauliflower in a curry is fab spinning.

Glad you are feeling better toots. Fainting is horrible. I hope you are going to get yourself checked out after that?

I'm planning on throwing myself into lots of work and cooking as a distraction from my 2ww coffee. I went a bit crayzeee last cycle and don't want a repeat!

Sounds promising broody. Fx for you.

xBlueberry88x · 04/11/2014 21:35

You all put me to shame with your cooking my dp is very fussy and doesnt eat any fruir or veg and im coeliac so meals are pretty boring at my house!!

Broody I had everything you described for the tww but sadly it was a no for me fx its a bfp for you

I really need to get bk on the exercise and healthy eating band wagon but im so wiped out at the mo!

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 04/11/2014 21:57

Boosk · 04/11/2014 22:14

Looking forward to cheering you all on at the party on Sunday. Fx till then.

Sorry to those with bfns today Thanks Thanks

MaMaPo · 04/11/2014 23:39

I love that there's a peeing party scheduled for Sunday.

Rubbish, rubbish time here. My darling beloved grandfather passed away yesterday and so life is now a whirlwind of trying to book flights back to NZ on Sunday for the funeral (I'm in Aus so not so far to fly), trying to wrangle how to take my toddler with me but leave DH at home, plus am hosting a big party thing this weekend that we can't really get out of which involves a whole lot of organisation and work, plus i have to work an extra day this week and I don't know when I am going to get a chance even to pack for NZ and... I'm just feeling rubbish. No idea what dpo I am - 7 or 8 maybe - and AF due on Sunday so I'm going to be a big mess. Plus it's our 5th wedding anniversary on Friday but we won't be able to stop for more than a moment to celebrate it.

Anyway. I will pull myself together, the next week will happen and I will make it through. I am now hoping and hoping that we conceive, and that it will be a boy (we already have a girl) because if we do he will have my grandfather's name as his middle name. In fact, I decided on this when I was pregnant with number 1 (didn't know whether boy or girl) and am now feeling regret that I didn't tell him that we would use his name.

Grief is a really fucked up thing. Sorry for bringing down the thread with completely unrelated stuff! I hope everyone else is having an OK time.

MaMaPo · 04/11/2014 23:40

rereads - Wow, MaMaPo, way to completely dump on internet strangers.

Cariad2014 · 04/11/2014 23:53

Sorry to hear about your grandfather MaMaPo - such sad news. Enormous hugs Flowers
