Dozy if I were you I would get your progesterone levels tested either via your gp or privately. Spotting for several days before af arrives can indicate low progesterone but this can be easily treated by your doctor. I think it's worth getting checked out rather than plodding on another 6 months only to find out something's not quite right.

Tessie I took Pregnacare for a month and I was a week late as soon as I worked out what it was I stopped and my cycle went straight back to normal...Ive read lots about them to!!

Thanks for all the answers re: mens supplements all. I'm going to go get him some tomorrow. My bbt arrived today. I am going to start using it from tomorrow just to try and get into the habit of doing it every morning ready for next cycle. 2 dpo today and I have a screaming headache, so it was interesting to read further on what painkillers are ok to use... You know, just in case.

Ah ok, well it will be interesting to see when AF starts for me since I have been taking Pregnacare this month... I'm not even 100% sure I ovulated this month as I got positive opks along with 3 days of flashing smileys then 2 days of static smileys on CB and although there has been a slight rise in temp my spike looks nothing like those featured in tcoyf book! I have already decided that I am going to start temping vaginally from next cycle as I know I sleep with my mouth open so that may explain why there hasn't been a big thermal shift. Although on the other hand, as this will be only my second 'real' cycle off the pill I don't know how much of it is my body still settling down...there is so much waiting and seeing in this baby game!

I don't know about pregnacare and the affect on ovulation but I took it whilst pregnant with ds3 and it made me feel incredibly sick. It must be a pretty strong mix to have such an effect. This time I've just been taking folic acid and a good diet as I'm trying to lose weight.

CD12 for me and nothing interesting to report. I've been temping for 3days (no idea when in the cycle I was supposed to start) and I'm already fed up with it. I think it's making me anxious as I've been waking up a lot in the night, at least I've been awake around the same time (5am) each morning. At least I'm getting a nice looking chart!

welcome twinky you may not know it now but there will be a day when you spot car numberplates/business names with things like BFP, TTC, SWI and DTD in them and you will say the acronym words in your head. Or is that just me??

Blueberry I'm pleased you're feeling better. DH asked me last month how people can keep trying and be positive about it but I said that although it's gutting when AF arrives, you know it's only a couple of weeks before you get to try again so I don't feel without hope for very long. Does that make sense?

As I hoped I got a +ve OPK today so I should ov tomorrow so DTD for us for the next 3 nights and then a break

Well dtd 1 out of target 8 achieved last night so very pleased about that now to keep it up!

My temp was all over the place last month tessie so I've started temping vaginally this month. Messed up so far by a bout of sickness! Hopefully stabilising now before ov.

Sorry about AF blueberry but glad you're not feeling too bad about it!

Yep maybe purple just feeling really fed up with all of it tbh! Think maybe it's all in my head and if that's true then just want AF so we can get on with ttc! Haven't had AF since my CP at the start of September and just feeling a bit argh about it all!

Dozy - i too have spotting every month and sometimes it can be 6 or 7 dpo, i am taking vitamin b complex to see if that helps also on seven seas trying for a baby, last month i ovulated later and did not spot just as much this is my third month of being on them, hoping the added vitamin b complex does the trick

Tessie - I took pregnacare in June and my period was over two weeks late and i suffered with pregnancy type symptoms, was convinced i was pregnant as i felt so rough, i came off of them and the symptoms went away , think everyone is differ went, two of my fiends took them and they were fine and both fell pregnant after being on them three months
