gennibugs · 03/11/2014 16:50

weight off your shoulders mrse I bet. Smile

Just been admiring my bizarre chart for this month. It's got a massive spike right in the middle!

Pikz · 03/11/2014 16:50

I will try blueberry

Yep taking soy. Was a last ditch attempt before all the fertility docs do their worst

gennibugs · 03/11/2014 16:52

Wonders if the ov dance has an accompanying ov song...

MrsExtraOrdinary · 03/11/2014 16:52

Spinning I know you started soy on cd5, but when did you stop? What cd are you now?

xBlueberry88x · 03/11/2014 16:52

Haha im sure it'll entertain him he may take it as payment lol

spinningirl10 · 03/11/2014 16:57

'You know it's all about the ov 'bout the ov' Grin

spinningirl10 · 03/11/2014 16:58

MrsE, I did cd5-9 Grin

Orangeisthenewbanana · 03/11/2014 17:55

Evening ladies! Just spent ages catching up with all the news Smile

spinning glad your appointment went well

mrsE that made me lol about your DC taking bets on your ttc! Grin

Hope all those waiting for positive opk's get their smiles/faces soon.

6dpo here, so twiddling my thumbs and going every so slightly insane in my tww. No symptoms at all except feeling a bit teary this morning. But I didn't have anything with DD until right when af was due, so you never know I guess.

Can't decide if I like or hate the tww. It's awful just waiting, but otoh there's still that chance of upduffedness!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 03/11/2014 18:13

What cd are you now spinning in relation to that?

Blueskygirl30 · 03/11/2014 18:25

Good evening ladies,

I've been lurking at the back of the bus this month trying to keep up with your chat. I'm sorry for those of you who are having a hard time. I'm glad your appointment went well spinning, interesting about the conception mulitvits, I might have to start taking them but the one month I took pregnacare my AF was 9 days late and I can't help but think that they caused it.

I'm feeling really down today, I was meant to be on leave this week and thought it would work out really well. I took soy cd4-8 and had a good feeling about this month. We DTD Thursday night last week, cd9 and I'm now cd13 and have lots of EWCM today. The problem is that I was asked to do by trip out of the country, I left on Friday and won't be back until Wednesday morning. I'm not statistically due to ovulate until Wednesday or Thursday but I'm worried that the soy will have brought forwards my ovulation and I'm going to have screwed up and missed it this month. I'm so annoyed at myself, we needed the extra money so I took the trip but I didn't have time to think about the consequences at the time. My opk this arvo was quite dark but definitely not positive but I think I'll get the positive tomorrow and I know we won't be able to DTD until Wednesday evening at the earliest.

Sorry, that was all about me, I'm just feeling really down about missing out on another month through my own fault.

victoria401 · 03/11/2014 18:36

Its such a pain having a tiny window of opportunity isn't it. Why do all other mammal/bird species have young every spring without all this worry?!

Question ladies... I've had a letter saying I need to go for a smear test after 21st Nov. I will be into my next cycle by then and they like it done mid cycle don't they? Do I book one or leave it?!

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 03/11/2014 18:50

Book one - smears are important

gennibugs · 03/11/2014 18:53

Victoria I had mine last month. I went after AF had cleared off and before I ov'd. The nurse said that was fine. maybe do that?

bluesky that sounds so frustrating. However remember that even with a positive opk you still might have 24-36 hours after that to ov so you may catch it?

spinning got that song in my head now! Grin

Blueskygirl30 · 03/11/2014 18:59

Victoria I went two months ago and booked it in for after AF! before ov. Like Genni said and that was fine, definitely better to get it done.

You're right Genni I guess there's still a chance, as long as it doesn't happen today. And either way there's nothing I can do about it now.

ohlordyplordy · 03/11/2014 19:00

Victoria I had my smear last cycle on cd12 and ov'd cd 13. The nurse didn't bat an eyelid when I said ttc, she just carried on.

spinningirl10 · 03/11/2014 19:03

MrsE, I'm cd11, usually get my positive today but it's whiter than white!

Blue, sorry you're away and feeling down but wed eve could be perfect timing if you get your positive tomorrow.

Victoria, I would do as Genni suggests and book it for between af and ov.

MademoiselleG · 03/11/2014 19:08

spinning thanks for that song... I'm so going to accidentally sing it out loud!!

MissMrsMummy · 03/11/2014 19:26

spinning that song is in my head now! So catchy!

I'm also on Cd11 with not even a hint of a line! BORING! We have only DTD once this cycle and it was too early anyway.

bluesky what a shame about your trip but hopefully you might ov a bit late and then you can catch the egg when you get hime!

nettle86 · 03/11/2014 19:47

Hi ladies-looks lime AF has got me at last a 32 day cycle unheard of for me but I guess you can never second guess your body! Got a job interview next week so something to look forward too...

Dozygirl · 03/11/2014 19:50

Awww sorry about that nettle. Do u normally have shorter or longer cycles? Ur right about not being abLe to second guess tho. I want to go back to the innocent days when I never paid attention lol.

Dozygirl · 03/11/2014 19:52

bluesky sorry you're feing down. This ttc malarkey isn't easy and when life gets in the way of your fertile window its so frustrating. All u can do is DTD when u can and hope for the best. Life has to continue unfortunately. X

TerrysNo2 · 03/11/2014 19:56

I don't even like salmon that much and DH is currently cooking up a salmon teriyaki feast! The TTC lengths we will go to Grin

TerrysNo2 · 03/11/2014 20:02

bluesky I would just TTC when you can and hope for the best, sperm can live for up to 7 days and the egg lasts for 24 hours so a short TTC break in the midst shouldn't rule you out.

nettle enjoy the relative TTC calm that is AF, and have more than a few Wine Wine Wine

broodylicious · 03/11/2014 20:27

There's so much I've not read on this thread, I've only missed you guys for two daysShock

victoria, the nurse at my doc said they always used to say mid cycle was best for a smear but nowadays, they say as long as you don't have AF, any time is fine.

Really pleased that familyE took your news well mrse. And hilarious they were on to you and making bets!Grin

Sorry to those feeling down or not getting support and generally feeling under pressure/stressed out with the whole ttc business. It's so hard but really it's only ourselves that are pressuring us to get upduffed, no one else, so try to relax and enjoy plenty of fun with your dh/dp's and see how it ends up. Easier said than done, I know I'm a total hypocrite btw, 3dpo and everything is a symptom!
