Welcome Beatician

Well 14dpo today nothing much happening lots of water cm but thats about it....had srabby pains last night and thought oooo lightening vag lol

MrsExtraOrdinary · 03/11/2014 14:36

Spinning glad your apt went well. At least that's out the way. I'm not sure I'm going to fess up to my soy dabble when I book in.

In other news we told our dc last night who all knew and have been in cahoots for months about us ttc. They found the ov sticks vitamins the lot. And had bets riding on when we'd actually succeed. All delighted even dss. So I got brave and wrote my mum an email. After all that worry all year, she is completely delighted. And has started knitting. I got that completely wrong. But sooo relieved I haven't got to hide it under a jumper from her. She read the whole email about all the care plan etc and is very reassured. Phew!

sm2012 · 03/11/2014 14:38

I'm enjoying reading all the posts, keeping me optimistic and just knowing others are going through the same helps. I hate being at the start of a cycle. We're going to try the Sperm Meets Egg Plan this month so our campaign for #3 starts on Thursday!

I think keeping positive is key which is much easier said than done!

xBlueberry88x · 03/11/2014 14:40

MrsE Haha who won the bet??
Glad your mum is happy with everything and you can now relax a bit!!

Blueberry my eldest son (16) shot straight out his chair shouting get in, dd and dsd now owe him £10 each as he knew! They'd been going through the calendar nosey Parkers! I tell you nothing is sacred once you have dc!

Sunbathing twins may have pushed mum over the edge so yes, really pleased it's one. She's finally going to teach me crochet after 20 years of me nagging her! Grin

Frolicacid · 03/11/2014 15:03

I'm glad it all went well today spinning and that your dr knows all about the magical conception aid that is Frolic dog! She is working hard today on my conception plan by laying in bed with DH to try and hasten the departure of his badly timed cold. We will know he is in recovery when he can smell her farts again!

Yay for a supportive family response mrsE. That reay must be a load off your mind.

Slight temp rise for me this morning, but I don't think it was enough to show I ovulated yesterday. I haven't opk'd yet today, but am hoping for a negative as DH is still snotty and I feel the first stirrings of cystitis. Not very romantic!

spinningirl10 · 03/11/2014 15:04

Haha MrsE, love that your dc were onto you and they were taking bets, how funnyGrin so pleased that your Mum is happy for you. Hopefully it will get easier for you now that they all know, they can help you Grin

MissMrsMummy · 03/11/2014 15:05

Just reading back so this has prob been answered but sm2012 I think you need 100mg of B6 for it to make a difference. There's not that much in the conception vits.

Hi Treacle!

MissMrsMummy · 03/11/2014 15:18

spinning your app't seems really positive! Good news.

Thanks for the info about conception vits as well! Thankfully I have just bough some boots own brand ones.

I am having bloods done as been to see my GP about my short LP and other symptoms (spotting, fatigue, anxiety etc) so being tested for all sorts incl. ovulation.

I think I am ovulating as I have been temping but is it possible to have a temp rise even if you dint ovulate? Always thought it had been happening but this has got me thinking. Also not used opk last few months but I was getting positives on those a few months ago.

Welcome newbies!

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 03/11/2014 15:20

Thank you.

I thought I had better give my stats;

Beautician 33,ttc#4, cycle 1, BFP 17th November

Is there a stats list anywhere? I'm trying to read through the thread but there's rather a lot to catch up on Smile

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 03/11/2014 15:21

Me again. Is anyone else using CB digital ovulation kit. I've had a flashing smiley for 3 days now

So pleased your family are supportive mrs E! Must be such a weight off your mind, now thy can all look after you Thanks

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 03/11/2014 15:49

Oh really you didn't get the non flashing smiley. I do think I ovulate quite late in my cycle. Cd18 today. I always get a late positive which is why I presume I ovulate quite late

I was using them to try and sway our chances more towards a girl after 3 ds's. So I was going to stop bd as soon as we got a flashing smiley. But I decided its highly unlikely to make any difference at all so we are just going for it. A boy would be just as wanted as a girl, I just thought it might be nice to be slightly less outnumbered Grin

Jcandy · 03/11/2014 16:14

Spinning it sounds like you had a very positive appointment Smile your fertility doctor sounds lovely and it is great that your dh can start to realise the work you're putting in!

MrsE I'm glad your family have taken it well. I bet it's a weight off your mind isn't it Smile

Well I'm on Cd8 and just about recovered from a weekend of nausea and diarrhoea Confused Hopefully just in time to start the dtd marathon for this month. We only dtd 4 times last month (rubbish I know!) but I'm hoping to aim for 8 times this month! Hmm

spinningirl10 · 03/11/2014 16:29

Welcome BeauticianGrin

Just pee'd on an opk and not even a hint of a second line.....I hate waiting!
No cm at all really but had stubby pain in right side of ovary on and off all day. Just have to keep dtd and poas I guess Grin

Pikz · 03/11/2014 16:37

Spinning am also in your boat except cd20. Normally ov today and no line Hmm

Congrats MrsE glad it all went well

MrsExtraOrdinary · 03/11/2014 16:43

Yes thankyou for the support guys it's a huge huge relief! I feel so much better physically for having got it off my chest. I'm not good with secrets they eat me up. Blush

xBlueberry88x · 03/11/2014 16:43

Spinning and Pikz maybe do the ov dance lol

spinningirl10 · 03/11/2014 16:44

Pikz, have you been taking soy?
I have and I'm worried I've messed my cycles up. I actually had faint lines on around cd8 but now nothing. I haven't very much cm and no ewcm yet so maybe I'm just impatient!

spinningirl10 · 03/11/2014 16:45

Ah blueberry yes I'll give that a go......best wait for the dish washer engineer to leave first though Blush

spinningirl10 · 03/11/2014 16:46

Jcandy, pleased you're feeling better and just in time for ovGrin
