what does progesterone level 22 mean?

My progesterone levels were tested on cycle day 21 and results came back at 22. What does that mean?

The nurse that called me for the results did not give me an explanation of what it means only told me that I can discuss the results with my doctor at the follow-up appointment.

Can someone please help? I'm worried

I think 22 would be considered low and may mean you are not ovulating. If I remember correctly above 30 is considered good?

I would think they may offer something like Clomid which helps you ovulate but try not to worry too much - the GP should be able to explain and give you options.

Thank you for the information, it really helps. I Also I have PCOS and took clomid days 3-7 on this cycle. Sorry forgot to add that information.

Hi babypearl I have PCOS too and we've just started TTC. Im booked in for blood tests early next week.
We are now supposedly in 2ww but not holding out too much hope until we've had my blood results.
Hope you get BFP soon
