This bus is for anyone ttc hoping to get a BFP in December.

I know it's super early, but as I'm currently on a 2 month enforced break from ttc following a ruptured ectopic, December is the next bus I can catch.

Do feel free to come and join me on the journey.

Hi to the newbies and those of you who have had a visit from af and been thrown from the nov bus.

I have a good feeling about December, let's hope we all get out bfp's in time for ChristmasSmile

Cd8 here and opks still negative, yippee! Hoping I get a positive later in the week.

tessiegirl · 16/11/2014 18:11

So, I have just given in to my temptation to POAS early and although ov test was a negative a faint second line came up...WTF? I expected a blank test line as I am only CD6 today. Does that mean that ovulation is gearing up and possibly I may ovulate earlier than I did on CD14 last cycle?
I'm confused as based on the 26 day cycle I had last month and according to the chart I got with the ov tests I needed to start testing on CD9...I only happened to test just now as I am impatient!
I am going to start a new cycle using CB ov tests in the morning as the chart with them says that based on my last cycle length I should start testing from CD7 which is tomorrow so I guess that implies ovulation could happen sooner than what I am expecting but this early?? Really??

MaGratgarlik1983 · 16/11/2014 18:34

CD10 here ladies and I'm now using Ovia this month - so far really liking it (especially the colourful charts!!) After my WTF 61 day cycle that finally ended with AF on Nov 6th, I'm being really careful this month, as I don't want to be in limbo over Christmas!! So have been using opks since AF finished on CD5 - tessiegirl I've had a second line show up from CD7 onwards but until that second line is equal to or stronger than the control line the opk is still negative. Mind you, I usually get strong positives on them, so I'd keep an eye on yours and just DTD just in case!!

I'm also trying to temp properly this month (always find it hard to do it just as soon as waking up) - and I tend to dream I've done it as well then get really confused! Not that much of a pattern so far...seems to go up and down quite a bit...but I read that individual temps on their own don't signify much, it's the overall pattern that you're looking for. So hopefully oving next weekend, so going for DTD this week, although DH and I have been ill with this manky cold bug. Good luck ladies!!

loopylou1984 · 16/11/2014 18:53

Hello girls, can I join you please?
Ttc #1, cycle 13, bfp due 7th December.
After an abnormally (and hope inducing) long cycle of 43 days and almost a 4ww I am really hoping for a December bfp.
We are waiting for an appointment with the specialist and it would be amazing to be able to cancel it!

MaGratgarlik1983 · 16/11/2014 19:01

Off to watch Strictly and to have my final few Wine before entering the DTD pre-ovulation and 2ww phase! Have good evenings all!

Orangeisthenewbanana · 16/11/2014 19:18

Sorry to see so many of you ladies from the November bus Sad

tessie, I always seem to get two lines on my opk's. I found it useful last month to keep the old ones in a sealed plastic bag for a day or two so I could compare how dark the lines were, and know for sure when I had a positive.

Dozygirl · 16/11/2014 19:24

You've always got a bit of lh hormone so u can get a weak line at anytime. It goes positive when u have the surge of lh pre ovulation :)

tessiegirl · 16/11/2014 20:09

Thanks everyone - I just remember last cycle when I used opks this early in the cycle they were negative with no second line whatsoever. Now at same time I have faint second line a lot earlier. I know they are still classed as negative until that second line is as strong or stronger than the control line though.

Good idea Orange to keep the old ones in a bag - I may do that! x

tessiegirl · 16/11/2014 20:15

Right, just off to watch another episode of the second series of Call The Midwife - DH and I are a bit late in finding this series but really enjoying it so far. Nice to watch around ttc time!! Grin

loopylou1984 · 16/11/2014 20:23

Hi Tessie - I had the same thing this morning with an early unexpected 2nd line on my opk. I googled it as was so surprised and read that you shouldn't use fmu for opks as the ever present LH in your system is stronger then and can cause false positives... Perhaps this is where I have been going wrong??!

whitwoochantelle · 16/11/2014 21:16

Think we're in to a winner? Charts are Ricky mountains though!

The December 2014 bus is here armed with mulled wine, mince pies, mistletoe and a sack-full of BFPs
tessiegirl · 16/11/2014 21:57

Ah ok thanks samc85...I did my opk at 6pm??!! I shall see what tomorrow brings!

Dozygirl · 16/11/2014 23:39

Well I'm cd11 so thought we'd start the DTD eod thing. Just cleaned up post finishing and there is flesh blood! I just cannot understand what is going on with my body at the moment. I genuinely think there is something wrong but I don't know what it is :(

This is just silly now, I had fresh blood followed by brown spotting on Saturday 1st November and then eventually my period but once that is after 5-6 days it goes to normal creamy cm. since AF finished I've had occasional brown spotting and now this fresh blood. Really not sure what the answer is. Will have to try get a doctors appointment again I think. As if ttc isn't hard enough without everything being f**cked up for no reason!! Sorry for that, just wanted to enjoy this cycle as much as I could and this has ruined it.

MaMaPo · 17/11/2014 02:21

Dozy, that sounds stressful. I had something similar a couple of cycles ago, when I got fresh bleeding around cd12, right in the middle of DTD. It freaked us both out a bit and we didn't really get a go at that cycle. I don't know what it was due to (I didn't see a doctor or anything ) but you should consider it if you're worried.

Cd10 here but low on CBFM. Time to start gearing up though!

TerrysNo3 · 17/11/2014 07:59

morning all!

sorry about the blood dozy, have you been DTD a lot? maybe you have just irritated your cervix?

Is anyone on here taking B6 supplements and if so, what for? thanks! Smile

spinningirl10 · 17/11/2014 10:48

Dozy, I second what Terry said, dtd could cause it.

Cd9 here, ho hum Smile

Dozygirl · 17/11/2014 11:03

Maybe but it's the first time we've done it in ages because I've had either spotting or AF for 2 weeks in total. Last night was the first time I was sure AF was completely finished which it should have been since it had been a week since it started. Hopefully it's nothing to be concerned about then. Need to start poas opk to get ready for when it's positive. Should time in perfectly with our 2 year anniversary this weekend. Temp was slightly raised this morning but probably just because I had a lie in and was snuggled into my duvet. Really liking temping so far.

Dozygirl · 17/11/2014 11:11

terrys I took vitamin b6 last month. It says it's for hormonal balance. Tried to see if it would stop spotting pre AF but I had it worse than ever the month I took it so decided against it this month. Just sticking to folic and trying to time it perfectly.

toothachereturns · 17/11/2014 12:16

Hi all!!! AF Arrived this morning so....
Toothachereturns, 36, ttc#3, cycle 6 (2 mths off after 2 cps) BFP due 16th Dec. Smile

alien11 · 17/11/2014 12:40

Hi all can I join?:)
Ttc#2 cycle 6 cd3 bfp due 20th dec!

whitwoochantelle · 17/11/2014 13:21

Day 2 of + opks!

TerrysNo3 · 17/11/2014 13:55

dozy did you just take b6? I read you should take a B vitamin which contains all the Bs rather than b6 on its own

MrsExtraOrdinary · 17/11/2014 14:39

Hello everyone I hope you're all doing ok? I've been having a little mn break as was finding the AN thread quite hard going. Nothing compares to the buses. Nothing at all. It's a very unique and special thread. Just to let you know I'm still checking in and waving pom poms for all of you!

Blueskygirl30 · 17/11/2014 15:03

Hi everyone, I'm jumping onboard if that's ok? I just got kicked unceremoniously off the november bus after a suspected chemical pregnancy. I'll be continuing isn a more relaxed way this month, second cycle on Soy but no temping this month as it made me obsessive this month. So here are my stats;
Blueskygirl30, 30yrs old, TTC#1, cycle 7, BFP due 11th December

How are you doing MrsE???

I'll read back and see how everyone is doing later on. Fingers crossed for lots of BFPs for Christmas!

tessiegirl · 17/11/2014 15:08

Hi newbies!!

Dozy - sorry to hear about the blood. I have had the same thing before after DTD when we have been quite...ahem....rough Blush Quite a lot too sometimes and bright red.

Hi MrsE - Thank you for your support! I hope you don't mind me asking but I am quite curious as to why you say the AN thread is quite hard going?

I am CD7 here and had low fertility on CB ov this morning. Just about to do another internet opk in a bit just to check things! Grin
