I know it's super early, but as I'm currently on a 2 month enforced break from ttc following a ruptured ectopic, December is the next bus I can catch.

I've got myself convinced that I'm going to be getting a bfn this month and I'm only 4 dpo. I think it's just 13 months of trying catching up with me combines with an over sharing pregnant work colleague

Sammylou Im sorry to read this. I'm struggling after only half the length of time trying as you have. I think we've lost this month, both DH and I have been really sick, we only dtd once in the time we needed to. I'm focusing on January now :(

After two 40 day plus cycles I have decided I need to take action and will be temping , cb dual opk and soy taking this month. And going to get seven seas not pregnacare. Phew. Control freak or what!!!!

Any other cycle improvement make more regular help appreciated ....

I thought given opk positives and ewcm 9days ago I was ok but looks like it messed up - short lp and long cycle. Did poas today and bfn this morning not surprising now! Af is fast and heavy and instant. Weird.

am I doing something wrong here? I've got the clear blue digital ovulation tests and tried one today. it flashed up an error, meaning I either peed too much or too little so left it for a while. Just done another one and it's done the same? Any ideas?

3 days into cycle 2 so bfp should be due middle of December if I have a 'normal' cycle. Pleasantly surprised at how light and pain free af has been. Not sure if this is a good thing or not but was never like this before going on bc!

How long have you been off bc dilly? I've just come off and actually dying to know if I'm fertile or not!

I had my coil out on the 30th of October. I don't think I ovulated this cycle though. I had completely crazy periods for the 5 months that I had the coil in. Near constant in fact. As soon as they removed it, withdrawal bleed for 4 days and nothing else until now! So I'm hoping that my cycles have settled back into a normal rhythm!

Milkandchalk hi! I had same prob with clearblue ovulation but only with two sticks strangely.. Thereafter all worked fine! I'm actually currently looking online trying to find refill sticks but it appears you can only buy the whole actual test stick again?!

Ninja- yep we used preseed too last month, will try again this cycle. I've heard a lot of success with it.

Hello! I just joined this site today so it's going to take me a while to get used to the acronyms. I'm 26 and only came off the pill a couple of weeks ago and had a withdrawal bleed. When I've stopped taking the pill before ive resumed normal periods and I had a positive ovulation test in my fertile window this month (I only knew there was a window when I got the ovia app! Haha). It's been great reading all of your posts and I wish you all the best of luck!

This ovia app has been quite a revelation to me and my partner has been getting really in to it aswell. He often tells me how my cm and cervix position/squishyness is...bless him! I didn't have a clue about cm etc.

Looking forward to chatting with you all! According to ovia I'm on cycle day 17 so still have a few weeks to wait.

Can I join you all? Naively thought I'd get pregnant within the first couple of months of trying. I'm going to try my hardest this month. Might end up being an expensive / time consuming business but I feel I need to take some control. Considering charting my temperature but not sure I understand all the ins and outs of doing so.

MsAR, 35, ttc# 1 bfp expected Dec 25th

Hi MsAR - if you decide you do want to temp then download the fertility friend app - you just add in your temps, opk results etc and it works it all out for you and tells you when you ovulated

Also I've decided not to temp this month after all as was waking up early and worrying about missing it but am using cb monitor for first time. Have had flashing smiley faces for 3 days (is that normal?) and also ewcm for 3 days. Should I expect to peak today or tomorrow? Got home late last night so couldn't dtd but will tonight and tomorrow. I don't know how people keep this up for months and months... Fun but tiring all this dtd!!

Milk - re the cb ov test - try peeing into a pot first and then hold the absorbent tip in the collected pee for 15 seconds. I find it much easier than trying to aim correctly and get the right amount on there. X

Hi to all those getting on the bus! It's so busy on here, is this normal?! The list seems so much longer than on the old threads I've lurked on!

Ha ha looking at the new list mamapo I'm wondering whether I should be reserving a seat on the jan bus instead as I'm right down the bottom! I keep thinking how cool it would be to do a test and get a bfp on New Years eve! Unlikely on first cycle I know! Maybe toots and I could have our own nye poas party?!

CD1 for me today, was woken up at 06.30 with terrible cramps. My cycle is averaging at about 35 days at the moment which means I've got 18 days until my fertile window according to ovia. Boring! I've just ordered a copy of 'taking charge of your fertility' to keep me occupied in the meantime!

Anyone got any tips on distraction techniques while waiting? It's all I can think about atm!

I ordered some preSeed as part of a "variety pack" on Amazon, but I'm a bit confused about it- is it actually supposed to do anything to aid conception,or is it just a lube that is sperm-friendly? We don't normally use lube so it's not like we need to replace one that is hostile to swimmers.
Also, I see it comes with an applicator to put it inside- would I be able to use it without DH realising? I kind of want to limit his awareness of all the paraphernalia (eg trying to temp without waking him up in the morning).

According to fertility friend I should ovulate on the 3rd so bfp/af should be due on 17th. But this is only my 2nd cycle since coil removal.
