This bus is for anyone ttc hoping to get a BFP in December.

I know it's super early, but as I'm currently on a 2 month enforced break from ttc following a ruptured ectopic, December is the next bus I can catch.

Do feel free to come and join me on the journey.

hey ladies I am due to start opks today, I think I ovulate ridiculously early. But Im sick, breathing is rough, I hurt everywhere, temperature of 38-40. My boss is not being particularly nice (God help me if I get preggers) and DH is focusing on himself so Im feeling really low. I got the same infection when I was ovulating a couple of months ago so I missed that bus, don't want another month to go past... :-(

spinningirl10 · 18/11/2014 08:35

Morning Grin

Hair, hope by the time you get your positive opk you're feeling betterThanks

Frolic, sorry to see you here. Hoping we all get our Christmas bfp's Grin

Cd10 here and no hint of a line on an opk yesterday. Will see what today brings.

Dozygirl · 18/11/2014 09:56

Hope u feel better hair. It's hard enough trying to time dtd correctly without added life pressies of illness etc making u not wanna do it.

Dozygirl · 18/11/2014 09:56

*pressures not pressies

JessieMcJessie · 18/11/2014 10:13

Hello all, changing on to the December bus as AF arrived to boot me off the November one.

I think we have a tessie and a bessie already, make room for a jessie.

JessieMcjessie, 41, TTC #1, cycle 2, BFP due 16 December.

Have just had an email asking me to go on a business trip right at the time when I am due to ovulate. This is a disaster, am wondering if I can take a cool bag and a flask of DH's finest...but really am in a professional dilemma as could probably convince the client that the trip isn't necessary, but not sure I'd advise the same if it wasn't at ovulation time. At my age (long story why only now starting TTC at such a ripe old age but it's definitley not career-related!) every single cycle really counts though.

tessiegirl · 18/11/2014 10:48

Morning all!

Hair - hope you start to feel better soon Flowers

Welcome Frolic - sorry to hear you think AF is on her way. Bitch.

Ah Jessie - just realised we have Tessie, Bessie and now a Jessie! Great!! Smile I know what you mean about business trips right when you ovulate...DH is due to go away next week right bang in the middle of when I expect fertile time...grrrrr. However, I'm CD8 here and got first day of high fertility on CB ov test this morning - a lot earlier than I would have expected so maybe I will ovulate earlier than I was expecting or just have a few days of high before a peak?? Who knows....

DastardlyDachshund · 18/11/2014 13:23

Thanks for the welcome spinningirl10 and TrixieRay (nice nc btw). I am cd20 today and fertility friend has cautiously put me at 3dpo but not holding my breath for a bfp this month as we have only dtd twice but I am not too bothered this month as taken a back seat from ttc.

Frolicacid · 18/11/2014 14:57

Thank you for the welcomes.
AF arrived bang on cue this afternoon. I'm sad to be on the bus but happy with my last cycle. I took soy and bought my ovulation forward by about 4/5 days and had a 29 instead of 33-35 day cycle. I also barely had any pmt symptoms this time. Not sure if that's a good this or a worrying sign of low hormone levels.
Anyway - onwards and upwards! I'm going to try soy again and have just ordered the Toni weschler book to see what that's all about.
I think it needs to be added to my stats that BFP should be due around 20th December.

tessiegirl · 18/11/2014 15:09

Sorry AF has arrived Frolic but that is really fantastic news about soy bringing ovulation forward and your shorter cycle.

I am reading 'Taking Charge Of Your Fertility' atm and finding it really helpful and interesting

Dozygirl · 18/11/2014 16:20

Well my swabs all came back negative as I suspected so now I guess I can make another appointment with the doctor and ask him what he thinks the reason for the spotting is this time. Especially as the spotting has continued post AF this time it has made me doubly concerned. Fingers crossed I get somewhere this time. I only want a measly blood test of for someone to check my cervix properly to make sure it's all in working order, is that too much to ask?! Haha.

milkandchalk · 18/11/2014 18:39

I'm joining the bus if that's ok! I've really only just started ttc. Came off the pill on Thursday and for the first time since I Was 11, I can't wait for my period to arrive! Been feeling quite weird today so hope that's my hormones sorting themselves out!
So, I'm not sure of all the site lingo yet, but I'll try to keep up.
Xx

hc899 · 18/11/2014 19:26

Hi all

Hope you don't mind me hopping on the bus too! 31, ttc #1, cycle 2, bfp due around 11th Dec so just starting to do daily poas to see when am due to ovulate, although only got peak fertility last month, no high fertility. This ttc thing is so complicated!

spinningirl10 · 18/11/2014 19:35

Evening ladiesGrin

Hmmm still getting a negative opk and its cd10. Usually I would have a line now and then a positive tomorrow. Holiday Thursday, might level opks and thermometer at home?!

Off to read backGrin

spinningirl10 · 18/11/2014 19:40

Welcome hc and milk, good luckGrin

Sorry af got you Jessie, hope you can get out of the business trip.

Dozy, good news that your test was clear. Hope you can get the doc to give you further tests.

Frolic, sorry af arrived. Hope frolicdog is giving you extra loveThanks

tessiegirl · 18/11/2014 19:42

Dozygirl - I'm glad your swabs came back negative, now the doctor has to do something surely!! Fx for you.

Welcome milkandchalk and hc899 - don't worry, you will soon get used to the lingo and always feel free to ask if you aren't sure of something. Everyone is really lovely on here.

Spinning - hope you get your positive opk soon...

Frolicacid · 18/11/2014 20:02

I hope your cycle gets back to normal ASAP spinning. Do I remember rightly that you are off on holiday next week? If so, maybe the egg is waiting to hatch in time for some super holiday sexy time?!
I'm ok, thank you. I always find that the rage lifts as soon as AF arrives and I can get back to positivity. Mr frolic is out so frolic dog and I are having a AF party on the sofa. She has a bone and I have my pj's and this chocolate! Mmmmmm!

spinningirl10 · 18/11/2014 20:10

Ooh frolic I love those chocolates, enjoy Smile

Yep off on holiday on Thursday so it would be fab if I ov while we're away. It's just the 2 of us so I can't wait.

Frolicacid · 18/11/2014 20:15

I'm getting through them way to fast!
Are you going somewhere exciting on hols? Time for just the two of you sound perfect. We are planning something similar for feb/March if we haven't needed to start the mat leave fund by then. We also have a weekend away booked for when I should ovulate this cycle.

spinningirl10 · 18/11/2014 20:29

Frolic, a weekend away at ov time sounds perfect. We're off to Tenerife, nowhere exotic but we've been a few times so don't feel the need to rush around sight seeing. We can just relax and enjoy the sunshine and some child free timeSmile

angelaham · 18/11/2014 20:37

Dozy - i have read that is best to take vitamin b complex rather than just b6, I'm taking the b complex this month to stop mid cycle spotting, all il say is I'm not saying anything to jinx it so far,

Dastardly - so nice to see you back and glad dh got good news

Spinning - i am like you i know what ewcm is but the others i struggle to understand where i am at in my cm,

DastardlyDachshund · 18/11/2014 20:49

Thanks angelaham.

For those wondering about types of cm, here is a pretty good link to babycentre with photo's of the different types:

CM

spinningirl10 · 18/11/2014 21:16

Ewwww DastardlyShock I thought I had a lot this cycle but she has loads!!!

tessiegirl · 18/11/2014 21:29

Enjoy your chocolates Frolic!

Those photos are a great help Dastardly, thank you!!

I have watery CM atm and so together with a high fertility flashy smiley this morning I have just let DH know that tonight we should start DTD from now...bless him, I think he is struggling with the need for him to 'perform' on cue. I asked him if he would rather me not tell him when the time is right but he says he wants to know but then gets worried about not being able to...any advice what I can do/say to help him ladies? Confused

alovelycuppatea · 18/11/2014 21:31

Thanks dastardly! I nearly threw up a bit when i saw the creamy cm!

milkandchalk · 18/11/2014 21:42

my dh has told me he'd want neither! he just wants it to happen naturally. bollocks to that!!
