I know its waaay early for a November bus to set off but AF arrived today kicking me off the September bus and with DH away next month the October bus is not an option. Anyone fancy joining me in the long wait? I don't expect much action on this thread for a few weeks but it would be nice to have some company. My stats are below:

iamevan, 35, TTC#2, cycle 6, BFP due 7th November

And thank you for the SMEP rundown proof. Sounds pretty similar to what we are currently doing, except we tend to stick to EOD dtd so far. May have to up the ante, as it were Grin

Congratulations seafoam excellent news! And a lucky omen for this bus methinks.

I'm also one who prefers the first half of the cycle. Not actually knowing what is going on annoys me, and I get to poas without stress.

I think I'm gonna try epo or grapefruit juice this month. I've never had much CM and hopefully that'll help. If I try one new thing each month then I can hopefully figure out what works for me and what doesn't.

Orange the docs recommend eod for dtd, and SMEP only adds one extra dtd so I'm not sure how much of a difference it makes tbh. But if my cm experiments don't work this month, I'm probs gonna give it a try next month!

Googling the saliva kills sperm thing and I just don't buy it. Think logically.....there would have to be A LOT of saliva inside a vagina to reverse the positive affects of cervical mucous so unless you drooled all over the penis and he gave u oral which involved a lot of drool then I really cannot see how it would prevent u ttc. I can totally understand that if u are struggling to conceive then u will obv do anything (or not do something) to increase your chances but if you're not struggling then I think it's wrong to just say saliva kills sperm and that be the end of it.

It's the only way that I can make my dp get close enough to finish the job so obv I'm gonna find info for the 'for' argument rather than the 'against' one but I like to research and make up my own mind about things. It's not like he jizzes as soon as I jump on him after the bj, it still takes some time and I have plenty of cm so it should be enough. I also don't really slobber while giving a bj, I suck it all down so the amount of saliva would be minimal. Anyone agree with me?? It's not like I like doing them but I can't keep up the stamina of going at it for 30 minutes and him still not coming. At least this way it halves the time.

Congrats Seafoam its not even November yet lol!!

Dozy Id just rather not risk it as soon as I found out about it we avoided saliva during the fertile week. Everything ive read says its a big no no.

Jessica Epo seems to be working with me only taking it to counteract the clomid.

Phew I have a second line on my opk again today. It's still a negative but I do like seeing two lines seeing as I don't get them on hpt. I literally cannot wait till that day comes.

Let's hope I can start dtd tonight to get in the swing of things. I can use saliva this time anyway as I'm not fertile heehee.

Ugh so I've just looked in OH's texts to find a message about a school trip I sent him and stumbled across some messages to another woman that were definitely over friendly and made me feel very uncomfortable. He even said in one that he would 'get rid' of me! I feel so embarrassed and hurt. I haven't told him I saw them. I don't know what to do.....we are supposed to be ttc and he does this.
Sorry I've gone so off topic but I needed to vent where no one knows us.
What do I do now?

Oh secret, that's awful! What a total arse Angry. Maybe post in relationships? There are some lovely ladies over there who will give you great advice I'm sure. Maybe take photos of the messages though in case he deletes them later and you want to confront in about it? Thanks

Oh no secret so sorry to read this.

Remember that texts can often be read a lot of different ways, and tones can sometimes be hard to get right or misunderstand.
I think taking a photo of them is a great idea. Take care of yourself xx

Hello all, I'm new here and I'd like to join you on the bus. AF arrived this morning so CD1 here, we've had a month's break as I discovered that I wasn't immune to Rubella and had the jab on 24 September, the nurse told me that we had to wait one month before ttc, so I'm hoping for a BFP around 12 Nov! Came off the pill back in January after taking it for about 12 years. My cycles are very regular (28 days) and I'm taking pregnacare.

Age: 36, ttc#1

Congratulations seafoam!

secret I think you need to talk things through with your OH. I hope everything works out ok in the end for you.

Dozy I would imagine that salivary sperm are better than no sperm at all! So do whatever you need to do!

Hello Coffee and Sakura!

DH is going through some tricky work situations / decisions atm and was being particularly pessimistic this evening, so it's a good job AF is here and we don't need to DTD. He was in a mood where nothing I suggested helped, I get a bit fed up when he's like that, but he (and I, actually) suffers from depression and it's just one of those things. I'm hoping that things will have resolved themselves in a couple of weeks to give us the best chance of getting a BFP.

Think most ppl use clear blue the ones that give flashing smileys. I just use Internet cheapy ones. They work fine for me and it's easy to tell when it's a positive but it doesn't work for everyone. Some use a mixture of both because clear blue use fmu and cheapys are during 10-8 so u can do three a day if u wanted Wink

Hello!

I just wanted to share that my appointment this morning went well. The consultant is happy that all of the cancerous cells have been removed and that there are nice healthy margins around it. So that's great.

So that's my mole sorted, dh's job sorted. Now just need to sort out this ttc thing and we're all set! :)
