New to TTC. Anyone just off pill in first month of trying?

Hi ladies,
I came off Microgynon after our honeymoon on 15th August (halfway through a pack), withdrawl bleed started on 21st so using that as CD1 it would mean I'm now on CD21.
Just wondering if anyone else is around in the same boat to obsess chat with? x

I'm using Ovia too, but like you I'm expecting reality to be different. I figure if I start tracking everything now though 1) I'll get in to the habit of it and 2) It'll help me understand my cycles. Keeping my hopes up (for now anyway) that I might be lucky though! According to Ovia AF/POAS is due in 8 days. Seeing as I've been on Cerazette and missed some periods and others been really irregular I'm not sure what is actually going to happen. I'm not even sure if I've actually ovulated this month. Time will tell.

I would love it if anyone on this thread had good news for us.

Tessiegirl and Ainat226 I'm same as you guys - first month off the pill and using Ovia. Good to be tracking everything but the ovulation days came and went with nothing (I was using the sticks) unless I missed it somehow so I think this is a non-fertile month for me...for the first time in my life I'm looking forward to AF!

Hello all! I'm still feeling lots of symptoms- regularly feel pretty nauseous and have been dreadfully constipated for an entire week. I have done three two tests which have been BFNs but I'm pretty sure I am two weeks post ovulation so maybe there is still hope yet. I've asked OH to hide the remaining test so that I don't use it until Wednesday! That would be 17 DPO so surely if I got a BFN at that stage then that would really be a BFN. But who am I kidding, I'll still keep hoping even at that stage, blame the test or whatever... I only hope I don't have to wait ages and ages to get AF otherwise I'll be driven demented!

Well, I put my details into Ovia and that says my fertile window is this coming weekend...will look out for symptoms and keep everything crossed!! Like you Joey I cannot wait to welcome AF!!

My AF is 7 days overdue after first month off the pill!! Wish it would hurry up!!

It is nice to have you guys to share this with. trying to keep everything quiet from friends and family for the time being. DH is excited, and is doing well at coping with my hormones and my going crazy but I don't think he can quite cope with it taking over my mind just yet.

I really hope AF arrives on time as I'm not convinced I ovulated. but of course even more than that I'm hoping all the symptoms I have had are positive signs...

Switched to Ovia after all you ladies recommended it and it's pretty great! Also finally got positive on the ovulation test which means a few weeks of impatient waiting for either AF or a BFP!

Same boat over here! Had my last pill on 21st August. Had some symptoms of pregnancy but tests came up negative (side effect of coming off cerazette apparently).

Had a two day bleed a week after coming off (Not sure what it was though but I had period pains). Pretty sure I ovulated on 13th September so this week expecting af to arrive.

Had a bit of cramping yesterday morning but didn't last long and no other signs of af appearing since. And by God my nips were sore up until a few days ago!

Really want it to hurry up and arrive so I can start with the cycle. Either that or i want a Bfp!

Unsure of when to do a test now.... Don't want to see another negative so may just wait until some symptoms start to show. We go abroad mid October so would like to know before then!

According to Ovia I should ovulate this weekend. I have had pain where my left ovary is yesterday and today and today I also noticed sticky CM...fingers crossed it's all the right signs

Hi Tessie what period did you put into ovia? I am also just off cilest, day 11 of being off it. Was unsure whether I should put in my last withdrawal on the pill, or my first day off it? Any ideas? Have had some cramping today and think ewcm couple days ago but not sure if this is too early to be oving :S

Hi all, I took my last pill on 16th Aug! Not officially ttc as I'm not quite there yet but want my body to settle down after years of hormones...how on earth do you know if you are ready??!

I had my withdrawal bleed as normal then 2 weeks later had definite EWCM...then bang on two weeks later had af, but it was SO light, lighter than when I was on the pill and only lasted 3 days. Now I know before I went on the pill it was heVier and lasted a good 5 or 6 days, don't know if this should worry me or not!

Hi wanttobeamummyin2015 - I counted the first day of my withdrawal bleed as CD1 which was last Tuesday 16th so today (Thursday) I am on CD10 and that's the info I put into Ovia. I know this isn't a 'real' period so I am just seeing what happens really but to get some idea of when I could ovulate I thought I would give it a try. As Lookingforadvice123 experienced AF can arrive more or less exactly when it 'should' from taking your last pill, so you never know. I am hoping the signs I have had so far are positive that something is working down there!! Shall wait and see!

I put into ovia the first non-pill day which was sunday 14th for me, had withdrawal thurs 18-sun 20. So no idea when I will ovulate or when af due! Ovia tells me ovulate next friday, but that is based on a 32 day cycle as I think thats what I was before I went on the pill though that was 8 years ago! If going with 28 day cycle should ovulate now, if going from first day of withdrawal should ovulate next week or week after? I really have no clue!! :S

wanttobeamummyin2015 - I'm pretty sure the first day of your period counts as the first day of your cycle (CD1) then however long your cycle usually lasts you should be able to work out when AF will be due then count backwards to work out when you should ovulate. Of course this is difficult for those coming off the pill! I also put into Ovia that I had a 28 day cycle as that is what I had during time on the pill and also I was regular before I went on the pill 13 years ago!! Have you noticed any signs of ovulating at all? I keep getting awful pain near my left ovary, kept me awake last night but partly with excitement that my body may be returning to 'normal'.

I was 26 on the pill so 32 from first job pill day should produce same result? I have left ovary pain too! Had it lat 3 days hope it means I oving!

I have had literally nothing since coming off the pill other than a 2 day bad mood earlier this week! No aches, pains, ovulation, nada. Hoping for AF in next couple of days so I know it's not completely dormant down there...

I'm the same Joey0805, really want AF to come so that can know where I stand! Hate reading horror stories online about no period for 6 months etc. Hopefully that's rare...

Well AF has arrived for me, 28 days after last withdrawal bleed so I guess that's something to be thankful for.....

Are you using opks tessie? Or are you just looking out for ewcm?

I have also just stopped taking ceraztte 3 weeks ago..no period yet but with my first pregnancy I sufferd with thrush and that is the only time I have ever had it.. I now have a bout of thrush is this a side affect of coming off the pill or an early pregnancy sign?! x

Jcandy - no I'm not using opks yet. I have ordered some so when I go back to the UK this week they will be waiting for me!

Hi ladies, just checking in! I'm on CD13 and according to Ovia I'm in fertile window now but no signs of ov yet! Thinking it should be in next couple of days :) feeling a lot more relaxed about it this month after realising it doesn't happen first day of the pill!! Lol hope you are all okay too x
