New to TTC. Anyone just off pill in first month of trying?

Hi ladies,
I came off Microgynon after our honeymoon on 15th August (halfway through a pack), withdrawl bleed started on 21st so using that as CD1 it would mean I'm now on CD21.
Just wondering if anyone else is around in the same boat to obsess chat with? Grin x

Haha, Emily, he must be knackered. Lol. We've not quite been every day, but almost. I 'Googled' the no ewcm thing - it seems there are plenty of people out there who have got pregnant without it... Fingers crossed for both of us. :-)

Sally, I'm sorry it was negative, but having a more relaxed attitude is good. :-) And who knows... Maybe it was just too early to test. x

I just posted this elsewhere but i wanna know what you think also:

I'm getting a little disheartened already, i don't know whats wrong with me. I think im ovulating now and i have been DTD every day haha. But for some reason i don't think the chances of me being pregnant this month are that high considering i have only just come off the pill. I think im setting myself up for a fall. And i really don't want to do that, does anyone else think they are getting carried away?

I know we are in the same boat cycle wise, etc. I think my chances are pretty low too to be honest. It's been a while since I've had a normal cycle what with the pill and everything, so who knows what our bodies are up to. I am trying to not get too worked up about it all - but have to say I am failing! Fingers crossed we are both just lucky. If not, the logical part of my brain is saying that it's okay. I will be extremely disappointed though.

Thanks girls :) yep Emily, I have learnt my lesson already, set myself up for a fall, but you never know you could be one of the lucky ones! If I could tell myself this morning, I would say wait until after missed AF to even think about whether or not you could be pg. Easier said than done but would save getting your hopes up! Xxx

Hope all is ok... Well it's a no show today, thinking it maybe just because first month off? Done a test on Saturday came back neg.. Was that to early? Hubby said not to obsess but bit hard? Would love if was a honeymoon baby!

Anyone had any good news? Xx

If my cycles we're back to normal post pill today should be ovulation day, took a test but no line. I'll do another 4-5 days of testing as it might be taking longer given things are getting back to normal but if no joy then do I keep going or just assume I'm not ovulating this month and wait for AF?

No side effects whatsoever from coming off Yasmin - no weird moods, bad skin, aches, nothing. Quite surprised actually.

I'd take a test Shellbell you need to know either way right?

If i didn't know any better i would swear im pregnant. I think that's pretty much impossible cause only just ovulated but my boobs are killing me so so so much. And i have nausea and spotty face and greasy hair! I never get greasy hair :( xx

It's all just so confusing as the symptoms for pmt are so similar to early pregnancy!! I had sore boobs about 3 weeks after came off the pill Hmm have you done a test? Xx

Yeah just now, was negative. I can't be like this every month I'll go insane. I need to relax i think. Haha. I'm just gonna see how i go on. I feel like my skin is really oily too. I'm not enjoying it x

Hello everyone Smile I stopped taking the pill after 13/14 years in July and now on CD70 and despite lots of PMT there as been no sign of AF (e.g. had a few tearful moments, clumsiness, very tired, too hot at night etc.). Have bought a pregnancy test and expecting a BFN, but I just want to be sure and it can't hurt to practice! I am 35 and got married this year, so keen to get on with ttc. Good luck to everyone - it's so nice to share the journey with you all :)

Emily if your cycle is nearly the same as mine it's too early to test for you right? Maybe you need to leave it a little longer and try again? I'll have my fingers crossed for you. Though it could also be all the hormones sorting themselves out...

Coming off of cerazette is driving me crazy. I really feel like a stroppy 14 year old. I don't think I was a stroppy teenager when I was 14! As well as mood swings and moments of tearfulness I've been showing other signs of PMT such as stomach cramps, backache... I've been feeling hot which is not normal for me. I've also not been sleeping too great - though last night it was because I got woken up at 3 in the morning by what sounded like building work! That definitely didn't help with my irritable mood today.

Hi all,
I came off cerazette 6 weeks ago and finally got AF today!
Been on the pill for 17 years and haven't had a period for at least 5 years so thought it would take ages to get one.

Hoping my cycle is regular and everything is working properly! Using ovia to record everything.

Hiya! After reading this thread, I thought I'd take the plunge and join in! So surreal that we've decided to TTC. We've been married for almost a month (together for 7yrs) and decided to go for it the day after our wedding! Went off Marvelon on 01/09 and currently on CD16. Doing ovulation tests everyday because I'm curious to see how my body works but nothing yet! Feel like I should be relaxed about it but both my husband are equally Type A - we're both really excited and researching everything! I swear he knows more about this process than I do!

How's everyone doing? My BFN was right, AF arrived bang on time so I've had 28 days cycle straight away after coming off the pill! Quite pleased now I can keep track and know everything is working as it should. Hoping for a BFP next month now! X

Hi all! SallyBann sorry to hear about your BFN but that is really great you have been having 28 day cycles since you came off pill!! Now you can start tracking more easily hopefully.
I am on CD6 after stopping Cilest. Currently still on withdrawal bleed but should stop by tomorrow. I am going to start using Ovia and try to find out when I may ovulate but expecting reality to be different to what it tells me as this will be first AF after coming off pill, but who knows?!
