Hi ladies,
I came off Microgynon after our honeymoon on 15th August (halfway through a pack), withdrawl bleed started on 21st so using that as CD1 it would mean I'm now on CD21.
Just wondering if anyone else is around in the same boat to obsess chat with? Grin x

Hi raines I'm cd12 after my withdrawal bleed after mirena removal. Did you have AF with your iud? Mine stopped so I don't know what my cycle is like. FX for you Smile

SallyBann · 12/09/2014 09:37

Thanks for the advice jcandy and Emily, I am going to wait till that day then decide, probably will test if no AF by then! Was talking to a friend last night who was off bc for 3 years but not actively trying and no pregnancy, split with husband, they had one drunken night of DTD a few months after splitting and ta-da they have an 18th month old x

It's amazing that accidents happen at all! The timing has to be so perfect! Guess it's just luck (or not) depending on the situation. CD13 here and I have ewcm! Never thought I'd be pleased about this Hmm

SallyBann · 13/09/2014 09:45

Yep but you hear so many stories of it happening aswell! CD24 for me, 5 days to POAS according to app! Is anyone else using an app? This one's Ovia, seems pretty good so far x

OP posts:
Emilyjane11 · 13/09/2014 20:10

I'm using ovia. I think its fab. I don't know how accurate it will be for the first month but fingers crossed x

Jcandy · 13/09/2014 23:51

I'm using ovia, fertility friend and pink pad! -not obsessed- but I think ovia seems the best and easiest to use so far!

SallyBann · 14/09/2014 11:34

I'll stick to Ovia then! Seems good to me, still feeling like I have pregnancy symptoms that come and go! Full bbs, moody and emotional, keep getting funny tummy feelings! Just want to know now!!! 4 days to POAS haha xx

Is anyone else going mental? I have never had mood swings like this before it must be because i have come off the pill but i have never felt so moody! I feel 14 again! I'm supposed to be at my most fertile tomorrow so fingers crossed! Xx

SallyBann · 14/09/2014 12:46

Yep very moody, keep accusing my poor DH of being moody/grumpy when it's really me :/ oops! Xx

For the first week after removal u felt very emotional, almost crying at any little thing! Those hormones have a lot to answer for!

Emilyjane11 · 14/09/2014 13:58

I have been angry with it too. I've been off the pill 2 weeks now i just have to apologise to my man when it happens which i don't do very well, haha luckily he's understanding.

I'm becoming increasingly desperate to catch this month and i need to get that out of my head x

SallyBann · 14/09/2014 15:17

Yep me too, keep convincing myself I'm pregnant already and nearly bought a pregnancy test this morning at Superdrug but the lad on the till was someone I know so I didn't Blush xx

Hey...

I just joined the forums here today - and it seems I'm in a very similar boat to you guys. Hubby and I got married just over a year ago, bought our first house earlier this year, and now we're trying for baby #1.

I stopped taking the pill at the end of August. Had a long, but light, bleed. Not showing any signs of ovulation yet though. But I am feeling overly emotional. I'm guessing that's hormones trying to sort themselves out after being on the pill.

I have always wanted kids, and it's been something hubby and I have spoken about for a good couple of years now, but now we feel like the time is right. I actually got really nervous before coming off the pill though - this dream of a family that I've had since I was a kid could actually become a reality! Now I've actually come off of it though I want it all to happen NOW! Haha.

Fingers crossed we all get a positive result soon.

Emilyjane11 · 14/09/2014 17:36

Haha i feel exactly the same Ainat266 we sound like we have a similar cycle, have you downloaded ovia app to see when your supposed to be ovulating? It's supposed to happen for me tomorrow. shall we keep in touch ladies? Use this thread to spur each other on, xx

Jcandy · 14/09/2014 17:51

Yes definitely emilyjane I can hardly keep up with the other threads with so many people talking on them! It's supposed to be my ovulation day today. I still have ewcm and I've had a few cramps too so wondering if that's it? Funny how I've never thought about what these things mean before! CD15 here, where is everyone else?

Jcandy · 14/09/2014 17:52

Welcome ainat you're very welcome to join us! Smile

Emilyjane11 · 14/09/2014 18:02

Definitely sounds like it Jcandy how exciting! I don't have any ewcm, im nervous that I'm not going to ovulate at all! how strange that we are all at similar points in our cycle? X

Jcandy · 14/09/2014 18:31

Don't know why but I don't quite believe it all lol, I guess I just always think the worst and thought it would take ages for my cycle to get back to normal but maybe it's following the right plan so far...... I think the only way to know if you've ovulated is by temping though and I haven't done that yet

Emilyjane11 · 14/09/2014 19:24

Yeah but egg white cm from what I've been reading is a sure sign, and this afternoon i have started with the pain i used to get before i started on the pill or in between when i had my breaks, its on my left side and i ALWAYS got this when i ovulated so hopefully this is good news for me. I know what you mean its very surreal but this has spurred me on, fingers crossed im not imagining it Jcandy xx

SallyBann · 14/09/2014 20:07

Hi Ainat! Yeah great to share with people, don't know about the rest of you but think most of my friends would not be too pleased if I started discussing cm and ovulating over dinner!! Haha :) think we should definitely keep in touch Emily! Glad I started this thread now, like you say, hard to keep up with the ones with hundreds of messages in!
So how old is everyone If you don't mind me asking? I'm 23, my husband is 33 and we've been married for 6 weeks! Together for 4 years Smile xxx

Joey0805 · 14/09/2014 20:11

Also in 1st month not on the pill...had withdrawal bleed 2 weeks ago and zero other signs of anything since! Will take ovulation tests over the next week as that ought to be happening if my cycle is a normal one (but given it's the 1st one off the pill it probably isn't). Using ovia too...

Emilyjane11 · 14/09/2014 20:11

Sallybann 6 weeks! Wow! Congratulations! And yeah i agree, there's not many other people that you can discuss cm with...haha. I am 24 and my partner is 28, we have just been texting each other whilst he is at work about what we are most excited about having children, looks like I'm not the only one obsessed. Eeeeek. When do you plan to do a test ladies? Xx

Emilyjane11 · 14/09/2014 20:14

What does ovia say Joey0805? Mine says today and tomorrow i am most fertile and i can POAS in 15 days. Im hoping this pain in my lower left side is a good sign. Xx

Jcandy · 14/09/2014 20:21

I'm 30 and my dp is 35. We've been together for 18 months and living together almost a year. Ovia says I can test on 28th September but might try and wait till 1st of October - -if I can-- if AF hasn't arrived. They sound like good signs Emily! Sally congratulations on your wedding, did everything go as you wanted it to?

Emilyjane11 · 14/09/2014 20:26

Jcandy it says i can test on that day too, how strange! Fingers crossed!!! X
