Good call Lil. It certainly could be an evap, it was getting on for 5 mins when it appeared. While waiting until Wednesday is the sensible sane thing to do, it's somewhat out of my hands now, as DH phoned minutes after I'd done it and I blurted it out to him. So tomorrow it is.

Fx for tomorrow before is your DH impatient for you to test again? Mine wanted me to wait for ages after my squinter (which I'd already waited for five days after AF was due). Luckily I had you guys to lead me astray

Read back in previous thread to find that AF was on 23rd August last month. And my normal cycles are typically 31 days, so I think that means I'm due tomorrow.

He was just a bit shocked (obviously, wish I'd kept my mouth shut) and wanted to know what we should do next. He's not bothered about being there when I POAS, but he is a man who likes a plan. So when I mentioned FMU, he said "oh well, we'll find out tomorrow then" and happily changed the subject.

We found out about DS just after DH's birthday. It was DH's birthday at the weekend.

I don't have to do anything too taxing between now and then. What will be, will be...

before, I do see a very faint line. When I've had positive tests before, 12 dpo tends to be when they first faintly appear not that I obsessively test from about 7 dpo or anything.

More tests over the coming days, and fingers crossed!

eeeek before I definitely see something.. never had an evap on a frer before..

So, question to all - what's the deal with ICs and frers? If I'm getting BFNs with ICs is there any point in using a frer with FMU tomorrow? Or am I just kidding myself that a more expensive test will give me the result I want.
DH was working over the border today and brought me home a frer as a little anniversary gift. Can't say the dear boy isn't romantic!

Ha ha ha mountain, bless him. I don't know the answer though. But cheap doesn't mean inaccurate, just less packaging and marketing. My ICs are 10micromil which is lowest resolution possible. What are yours?

Just finished making a blanket for the-baby-that-wasn't. Dh stole it. Apparently its "snuggly" so he's using it whilst reading reddit on the sofa. Barely covers his top half. Kinda bittersweet. Now its for baby-that-will-be.

Trying to decide when to start testing. Sensible me says "when AF is due" but that didn't stop anything going wrong last time... I'm 3dpo now, AF due 3/10. Thoughts?

Ooh mountain poafrer, please?? … I think you're a day ahead of me on the twot. That means if you do, I can the day after. Also had bfn on ic yesterday. Am told 10dpo is when a frer can 1st detect pg. I've only ever tested at a week or two late before this month

wiggly - my yoga teacher was the only 'other' person who knew I was pg last time, and about the mc. I found it a relief to tell someone, almost as if it made it real or at least not some dirty secret! I've talked to a few people about mc since and apart from the work Christmas party sobs and and shots followed by puking into my own hat incident I've found it useful. Most people have their own story so you feel less alone, or at the very least it gets it out they're that you're ttc and they can be a bit more understanding.
Don't push yourself to get over it - it's bloody hard on the emotions, and your cape will still work through the tears anyway!

Hey everyone, Before, fx for tomorrow!! Who else is next up to POAS? I'm going to on Thurs, told DH to not let me before then!

I told a few select mates about the mc, it was a massive relief, I totally agree about the 'dirty secret' thing, it seemed so crazy that this massive thing happened and people didn't know about it. I found that so hard, so telling people made it a bit better.

Plans have changed. Poas tomorrow because shitty Ovia app miscalculated my dates. Doesn't change the fact that I'll just be 13dpo but hey. And I'm off tomorrow so can cry into my pillow/dance around like a twat depending on the result.
