Oh no, hope it isn't AF for you Lilypie. I'm only 1 or 2 dpo myself, already getting impatient as all get-out, by 8 dpo I'll prob be giving myself headaches etc with worrying/freaking out. I want this sooo much (as I'm sure we all do), it's like I'm holding my life in mid-step waiting to move onto this next chapter and I am not the most patient of people.

I know , starting to feel out this month another bfn again this morning xx

Hope AF stays away lilypie. When do you think we could realistically get a bfp being 8/9 days dpo?

Reading online everyone says different - I've got 10mui sens cheaply tests, superdrug ones that say 4 days before period is due and clearblue digi that say on the day period is due total minefield . I think 12 DPO is a normal time to get BFP on a frer xx

I'm 9dpo, af due on the 1st too! We only dtd 4 days before ovulation this month, shift patterns etc making it hard! But you never know. I'm not going mad symptom spotting because it's a small chance this month, but it's hard not to keep thinking, oh I'm hungry/crampy/tired/whatever, maybe I'm pg!

We've been trying for a good few months now for number two, but half heartedly I suppose. I think we've dtd at the right time maybe 6 times but usually only once so I've not been too disheartened yet, if we'd been really dedicated I'd be getting upset by now I think. My DH finds scheduled baby making sex a turn off, but it's the only way when you've already got a little one and work nights!

Anyway that was a bit of an essay sorry, can't talk to anyone in rl! good luck to all!

Oh the wait seems do long lilypie but we've really only got until next week to wait now to see if AF arrives or not.
I got paid yesterday and bought 4 cheaply tesco tests which say 5 days before missed period they have a 54% response, and a clear blue two pack. Of course with them being in the house I couldn't resist and took yesterday and today - bfn's. I've now given to my husband to give me one at the weekend haha, like an allowance!

Hi frecklebee, I have managed to resist so far, sick of getting bfns! I feel like everything tastes funny today, but maybe it's my mind playing tricks on me. I'm just going to wait until af is due and only test if I'm late.

I had a weird cycle a few months ago when I was late, had spotting, cramps and just loads of potential pg symptoms. And I wasn't! So since then I don't really get my hopes up.

nightowl you're so disciplined, I need some of that!
I am getting very occasional waves of nausea and peeing all the time when usually i would go in the morning and get to the end of work and realise I'd not been all day!!

It's not really self discipline, so much as being fairly confident we didn't manage it this month. 4 days before is pushing it I think. I know it's possible, but unlikely. And I've spent many a month being convinced that I'm pg, it's so disappointing when it turns out to not be the case. So I'm going to try and not torture myself this time! And also we have a weekend away just the two of us planned in a month so it would be pretty rubbish timing. I think if I tell myself I don't really want it right now maybe it'll happen!

You're probably right not to torture yourself nightowl, just see how it goes and look forward to your nice weekend away coming up.

I have a really funny feeling today, as mentioned earlier little waves of nausea and when someone made me a coffee earlier (I only have the occasional cup) I really didn't like the taste and I usually love it. I just feel different today!
I probably am torturing myself but I really feel like these are positive signs. I'm just leaving work and have decided I'm going to poas when I get home, despite my resolution to wait til the weekend.

Ooh, good luck frecklebee! I kind of enjoy the whole POAS ritual, even if I've only had a positive result once!

nightowl I'll do it again in am. I think I'm about 10 dpo but not 100% on that.
I did 2 at once (lots of wee after holding on from about 2pm!) The first test is a tesco cheapie, so of you are doing one try and go for 1st response.
