I know!! Am starting to get bad anxiety now though as it's quickly approaching the time something started to go wrong with dd Confused I am terrified!

I'm now lying on my side drinking iced water trying to get him to have as wiggle as he's not being himself today! Confused

Cupcake92 · 19/09/2014 21:08

Aw Ducky bless u :(
I got told to drink iced water with DS but it never worked and was told to have a bath as well!! :s only thing that worked with me was poking my belly haha! He then got annoyed and moved !

21questions · 19/09/2014 21:09

Ah Ducky hope he gives you a reassuring kick soon to put your mind at rest. Wow 26 weeks already!

Good luck for you too cupcake hope you ovulate soon and we both get our BFP.

Ducky23 · 19/09/2014 21:10

I've gave up with lying on my side and the water! Think he's too used to it! Will give him a couple of mins and if still nothing I will start poking!!! Grin

Cupcake92 · 19/09/2014 22:21

Thanks 21 :)

Let us know if the poking works Ducky! Grin

Ducky23 · 20/09/2014 10:56

It did eventually work last night but he's doing the same this morning! I don't know if I'm missing movements though because I had my hand on my stomach this morning and felt a kick from the outside that I hadn't felt from inside. Soooo damn stressful! Confused

Siarie · 20/09/2014 14:05

Trust your instincts Ducky better safe than sorry.

FX we get a few BFP results soon Smile.

I got my booking appointment and scan all in one, which explains why it's taken so long. The hospital do it in one massive appointment which means 2-3hours! I'm not too sure about the hospital I've been referred to as St Thomas aren't taking ladies outside their area. I live in a really nice wealthy safe area surrounded by perhaps some of the poorest areas in London. I'm still trying to work out the safest route to the hospital from here. I'm so used to just popping on the tube but I don't think that works with where the hospital is located Confused

Siarie · 20/09/2014 14:27

Just weighed myself, I've lost 7lbs so far now Shock. I suppose it's the tiny amounts I'm eating while feeling sick mixed with the fact my body is working over drive.

poppet85 · 20/09/2014 15:04

What hospital have you been referred to ? I am in london but in not quite a wealthy and safe area !! Though thats peoples perception I 've never had any problems ! I think appoinments with the london hospitals are a bit different my 20 week scan is actually at 21+3 think its just the way its done

Cupcake92 · 20/09/2014 17:12

Of ur worried Ducky just call the midwife as Siarie said, better safe than sorry :)

I feel quite lucky with my hospital then. It's only 15 minutes down the road! :) and it's a very good hospital. It's huge as well!! I'm not gonna lie, I kinda like going there! :) when I had to go back a week after DS was born and they said I'd have to stay in a few days I was quite happy! Grin I love hospital food there!

Ducky23 · 20/09/2014 17:29

I've had midwifes out at all hours as been into hospital and he's been fine, they have been so lovely and keep telling me I shouldn't worry about a patterns until 28-32 ish weeks.

But I still worry!

He is moving but I think he's turned around as it's very muffled movements but I can still feel something.

I live about 10 mins away from my hospital too Grin

Siarie · 20/09/2014 18:58

The Royal London Hospital poppet so far reviews I've seen haven't been great. I've posted on MN to see if anyone has more recent comments to add.

I'm going to go to the booking and scan then decide, that's providing I don't die on my way there.

Siarie · 20/09/2014 19:01

I should add I'm being sarcastic, in case anyone is offended Grin

poppet85 · 20/09/2014 19:21

Ha ! I understand now! I am in Tooting so have St Georges 10mins away no concerns yet its got good reviews plus a midwife led suit which I am going to look into !

Bearsinmotion · 20/09/2014 20:05

I'm about 15 minutes drive from our hospital and it's great. I've been seen by various consultants there for years, and my experience of them when I had DD was excellent. And yet their maternity services have had some very negative reviews online. It could be because I see the high risk team, but I haven't a bad word to say about them.

Even when I went in on Boxing Day with reduced movement and it turned out I'm just eaten too much Blush

Ducky23 · 20/09/2014 20:23

Haha that's probably what's happened with me bears Blush

Cupcake92 · 20/09/2014 22:04

Oh Bears!!! I'm sorry I did giggle then!! Too much Xmas dinner! Grin

DS has been a nightmare tonight!!!!! He's only JUST fallen asleep! Eugh.

Cupcake92 · 20/09/2014 23:01

I hate football!!!!!!!!! Angry
DH watching it in bed. Angry I'd rather it be turned off so I can sleep

Ducky23 · 21/09/2014 12:03

I can't stand football either cupcake! I'm quite lucky as h doesn't like it much

Cupcake92 · 21/09/2014 15:04

Oh dear Ducky is is just 'h' atm?

Ducky23 · 21/09/2014 16:34

I think hel always be just 'h' cupcake Hmm

Cupcake92 · 21/09/2014 16:56

Men aye!
I've never understood men if I'm honest. Lol

LuluJakey1 · 21/09/2014 17:00

We are not moving to Yorkshire. DH did not want the job once he spent some time there on Friday. I am so relieved. I have worried all week about what would happen if he just loved it. I knew as soon as he came out of the school.

So we have spent the weekend with PIL. Went to his cousin's wedding yesterday- they are just 21. It was lovely but very cold. DH had to give me his jacket in the church. I was shaking with the cold. I had assumed a dress, cardi and wrap would be warm enough. He was freezing then- but he's got plenty of padding, as his grandma said.

We are both relieved that we don't have to make a decision that would have upset us either way. Phew!

Cupcake On the way back we stopped at Waitrose for some shopping and they do their own brand of magnum type ice creams. We got a bix of Stem Ginger and a box of Colombian Coffee ones. I deserve one of each I think! They are in the freezer and I am running a bath to warm me up. It is really cold up here today as well.

Cupcake92 · 21/09/2014 17:17

That's good lulu :) !! Glad ur both happy with the decision!
Oh yummy!!! They sound delicious! I could very much eat one of them right now!

Cupcake92 · 21/09/2014 20:22

Well my ovulation tests have gone from having a line to having hardly anything there at all. :s did I miss ovulation? I'm so confused :s so should have not started opks! Lol!
