Here, we go, nice new thread.
Might be helpful to have some stats so we know where we all are?

I will start, farfallarocks - TTC#2, cycle 11. 1st brooking baby DD, 21 months. Investigations reveal high FSH and potentially starting IVF.

£2000 still much less than a fresh cycle though !

cups I had lots of pain from 25 weeks ish. never bothered with a special pillow just lots of normal ones around behind under bump. enjoy sleeping on your back/tummy while you can though! brooking for Tuesday. the odds after 10 weeks are vv good Smile

jaggythistle · 05/12/2014 12:49

Maybe I should just be me instead of causing confusion...

Is that better? :)

Imps9 · 05/12/2014 13:41

Far how sad about your fellow cyclers - I really hope they all do get the chance to try again. Can you try again as soon as AF turns up or do they recommend a gap between cycles? Next time is your turn and hurrah for being able to enjoy a gin-infused Christmas. Hope Mr Far is okay.

I'd forgotten what the J stood for JaggyIwasIam. How are you feeling now? Still rubbish?

Cups I'm not surprised you're bricking it - when I get to that stage I will be too. I can't wait to hear that all is well for you.

Is anyone else feeling panicked about Chrismas? I need to snap out of it and try to feel festive but at the mo I just feel weighed down by all the jobs I have to do beforehand. Rubbish.

jaggythistle · 05/12/2014 17:05

Yeah Imps still a bit rubish, I just had to try and throw up quietly at work actually. (I failed) But that will all magically get better at 12 weeks next week...right?

Also a bit Christmas worried. Feeling distinctly unorganised. Also the house is a mess as we are getting work done on it right now, we never seem to have time to tidy it.

jaggythistle · 07/12/2014 19:14

Got butterflies in tummy for scan tomorrow. Blush

Brooking for a good week for scans and BFPs in the very near future!

Imps9 · 08/12/2014 08:54

Ooooooooooh best of luck with the scan Jaggster - I didn't realise that is was today. Oooh a good scan for you today and a good one for Cups would be fantastic Christmas presents for us Brookers.

I'm not very awake this morning - just walked back to my car after getting a pay and display ticket and I thought to myself "wow, our car is actually quite blue in the sunlight". Tried to get in it and - yep - not my car. My black car was in the parking space next to it. Baby brain eh?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 08/12/2014 12:36

Good luck for today Jaggy!!!

Brooking for tomorrow Cups!! I was also a tummy sleeper. Don't worry about sleeping on your front. Your body will let you know when to change position. I had a theraline body pillow, which I loved at first. Then I got so bloody annoyed with it!! I think the dream genii would be better as it's a pillow material, rather than one that moulds to you like I had. Was constantly trying to un-mould it in the middle of the night Grin

Imps, that made me chuckle Grin

Munxx · 08/12/2014 13:58

I'm so sorry Far

Cups Brooking hard for you tomorrow, I have another chum with a scan this week too.

Regarding Sleeping I had a dream genii which I loved, but my discomfort was always my back. My friends with pain or discomfort in their pelvis said they didn't like it.

Munxx · 08/12/2014 13:59

Jaggy apologies, much Brooking coming your way too! Hope it has gone well today! Or is going to depending on scan time.

jaggythistle · 08/12/2014 16:17

Thanks guys, scan says all OK. :)

The brooking must be strong though, as I am suddenly a week more pregnant than I thought. ShockConfused

All the best for tomorrow Cups!

Imps9 · 08/12/2014 21:53

Get in Jags! Congratulations Xmas Smile. Bet you've had loads of fun telling everyone today!

jaggythistle · 09/12/2014 05:26

Only a couple really. I don't feel quite so much like telling everyone this time.

I think I'm expecting a few "another one Shock " comments, so am a bit shy. Blush

Silly I know.

jaggythistle · 09/12/2014 05:28

I do feel a lot better though and not just like tired vomiting woman. We told the DC and they are quite excited. :)

keepitgoing · 09/12/2014 08:35

congratulations jags

cups lovely I'm brooking like mad for you. what time is it? xx

cartoontrickster · 09/12/2014 08:44

good news jaggy lovely the dc's are excited.
thinking of u cups good luck!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 09/12/2014 10:11

Woohoo! Great news Jags!!

Thinking of you today Cups x

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 09/12/2014 12:03

Massive congratulations Jaggy, that's great news! How far along are you then?

Just got back from my scan, all is well. I'm so relieved. Thanks for all the brooking. Sorry I've got to run as I need to show my face at work at some point today! Will read back later x

keepitgoing · 09/12/2014 12:38

Grin Grin Grin cups that's brilliant! will you be telling people?

Munxx · 09/12/2014 13:38

Whoo hoo!!!!!!!

All Brooking babies are extremely special, as we all know, but your news Cups surely is the best news for a long time. You've had a ruddy rough time up to now, and I'm not going to be a plonker and say "relax" because as we all know, there's no such thing when it's been a difficult process. But I hope you can enjoy a brief respite from swirling thoughts today.

you know what I mean.

And Jaggy you KNOW I am as thrilled as thrilled can be for your little one too of course! ;)

NoMaybeAboutIt · 09/12/2014 16:52

Best news ever, my lovely Cups x

jaggythistle · 09/12/2014 16:55

Yay cups! ! ! :)

I'm apparently now 13 weeks instead of 12. According to scan measurements. However after one arrival a week + late and one a week early, pretty sure it won't matter much. :)

TurtledoveTamer · 09/12/2014 17:24

Fab scan news both of you. I went in for my scan at 12 weeks and came out 13 and am still being sick at 27 weeks

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 09/12/2014 19:15

Thanks so much everyone, it is feeling very real now tonight. I am starting to believe I will have a baby in 6 months. We are not making a facebook announcement but we have text our close friends we see regularly and told them. As for everyone else we will just tell them as and when. I really don't want to put it on facebook but DH would like to so we have compromised and he will put something on if all goes well after our 20 week scan.

Jaggy that's lovely that your DC are excited! We must be really close with due dates then. I'm 12+2 today but they have changed it to 12+4. The sonographer made me laugh as she completely dismissed my ivf due date saying nothing is more accurate than the dating scan. So knowing the exact date of conception is not accurate then?! Stupid woman!

Pasta God I really hope my constant nausea and heartburn goes soon!

keepitgoing · 09/12/2014 21:01

how exciting to tell people cups! I think after 12 weeks I started to accept I was pg, but that's different to accepting you'll have a baby! Smile silly sonographer. we all know more than she does about conception I assume... but she should know that her scanner is not super duper accurate ffs x

jaggythistle · 09/12/2014 21:33

The sonographer has put me a full 7 days ahead, which I'm puzzled about. But not going to worry about it. Although I'm under consultant due to first birth being CS, apparently I won't be hassled about induction etc.

I still have to have a meeting about delivery, but seeing as I had an ok VBAC last time it might be a short one. I think that's at 32 weeks which seems a long way away!

Going to aim for an earlyish night now. maybe I won't even throw up before bed
