Here, we go, nice new thread.
Might be helpful to have some stats so we know where we all are?

I will start, farfallarocks - TTC#2, cycle 11. 1st brooking baby DD, 21 months. Investigations reveal high FSH and potentially starting IVF.

Just popping in as I can't sleep (and I'm a bad brooker) and am shedding a tear over such wonderful news :-)

Far, brooking like mad for you lovely!

Cups, that is such such amazing news! so so pleased for you :-) hope you're feeling ok, and so glad you had a good 10wk scan!

keepitgoing · 28/11/2014 08:19

ooh bleeding gums! I only ever had them while pregnant... Smile

Imps9 · 28/11/2014 18:50

Far -DIFFED.

iwasabrooker · 30/11/2014 14:13

Oops I posted on your super old ante natal thread and wondered why it was so quiet.Blush

I had my brooking second baby in 2012 along with Too and Pomme and various others. Had a quick scroll and spotted lots of names i recognise! Now expecting another in June 2015, so thought I'd look you up. Still a bit in shock after some exceptionally efficient rat smacking, I'd expected it to take a while because it had last time. Duh.

I've name changed as I was feeling I'd had a lot of detail in my old name .I've two boys and live a bit further north than Too if that narrows it down a bit...Hope you are all getting on well!

Imps9 · 30/11/2014 22:37

Hmmmmmmm Was...did you like biscuits by any chance?

iwasabrooker · 30/11/2014 23:02

No...I should possibly be a bit less vague. :)

I was a spiky Scottish plant..

NoMaybeAboutIt · 30/11/2014 23:06

Imps, I thought the exact same thing Grin

Congrats Iwas! I know who you are now!!?

iwasabrooker · 30/11/2014 23:11

Is it sad that I made a special username for this. Grin

Feeling rough as anything this time round and been sick every day for over a month. I've not had a scan yet so still doesn't feel real though .

Need to read back the thread and see what you've all been up to...

Imps9 · 01/12/2014 08:03

Oooooooh I know who you are Was! Congrats on #3 although sorry you're feeling rough. Hope that passes soon. You must be having your scan soon mustn't you? Welcome back to the fold anyway...and hopefully you're still a brooker!

Am in a bit of a grump this morning brookers, if I'm honest. Bored with my job, still not pregnant, Mr Imps is being a bit annoying at the moment, and to top it all off, my bike wheel fell off when I got to the station this morning. AND I'm feeling some festive panic - advent is upon us and I haven't organised/done anything yet. Pah.

Anyway, never mind, am sure I'll cheer up soon.

Pastamancer · 01/12/2014 08:28

Imps that sounds like a clear case of pregnancy hormones to me, we just need to find a decent pee stick.

Was I know who you are too, congratulations. I am currently 26 weeks with a UBB.

Imps9 · 01/12/2014 09:20

You must be right Pasta. And I guess my bike just buckled under the extra weight of the bump. I guess this is all just part of the emotional roller coaster of pregnancy

keepitgoing · 01/12/2014 18:30

Grin imps

far how are you doing lovely? are you planning to test on Thursday? x

cartoontrickster · 01/12/2014 21:06

imps how was the rest of your day after the bad start? I can see your glow from here btwWink

Oooo yes far when is otd? any symptoms to report?
was do we know eachother? I can't figure out who you are?Blush
not much to report here still no job but I've pretty much decided to leave it until after Xmas. dh still bringing up moving be we cant afford that either.

cartoontrickster · 01/12/2014 21:11

did I congratulate cups I can't remember. lovely news anyway. are you sticking around? how is it all going? so pleased for you Grin

Imps9 · 01/12/2014 22:30

Hello Cartoon :) My day got much better thank you - I snapped out of my mood as soon as I'd got to work and had a chat and a laugh with my colleagues. I don't speak to anyone properly before I get to work (Mr Imps leaves before I wake up) so if I wake up in a grump there's no real way of snapping out of it til I'm at the office.

Bad luck re: jobs. Where is your DH wanting to move to? Any particular reason?

cartoontrickster · 02/12/2014 02:25

that's good Smile
he would like to move back to Kent to be close to his work, family and friends. I am starting to see the benefits but we can't afford it so I get annoyed everytime its brought up.

Imps9 · 02/12/2014 17:59

Grrrrr Cartoon. Is it the relocation costs that's the issue or the cost of living in Kent, or both? Is there any scope to save money by moving to Kent eg less travel for work/free childcare from family etc? Am guessing not otherwise you'd have already thought of that. I forget where you are at the mo - is it far from Kent?

Far hope you're okay. Holding your hand for testing this week.

Having a massive implantation bleed here. Massive. If I didn't know I was heavily pregnant, I'd assume it was AF. BUT - first appt at Bourn Hall tomorrow - squeeee! This time next year I shall be a mother or pregnant and I shall BROOK NO ARGUMENT whilst at the same time keeping realistic about the time this might take and the number of cycles I might have to have

cartoontrickster · 02/12/2014 19:54

aren't implantation bleeds a pain imps
we are in aylesbury at the moment. it would save around 400 in diesel costs a month so hopefully I wouldn't have to work if we moved. staying here its more likely i will need a job but may be able to work something out for my mum to look after N so free childcare. the cost of moving is too much and we would probably have to downsize to a two bed (so no more dcs till we can afford a bigger house). I have no idea how living costs compare though.

farfallarocks · 03/12/2014 09:59

Hello brookers!

imps best of luck today, really hoping your appointment is fruitful. There is a hilarious article in today's Stylist about inexplicable spouse rage where they just annoy you for no reason. I am feeling the same but I am blaming the hormones!

iwasabrooker did you try for about 18 months for #2 and then have an HSG and get diffed?

I stupidly POAS on Monday evening (Really dilute pee, in the evening and only 11dpo) so clearly a negative but have been all doom and gloom since then. I am an idiot! All my symptoms have gone even sore norks so I am not holding out much hope for tomorrow. In some ways I just want to get it over with so I can enjoy xmas and plan our next treatment!

I have lost my PMA for some reason, gah!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 03/12/2014 10:24

Sorry about the BFN Far am keeping everything crossed for tomorrow.

Good luck lovely Imps! What time are you up?

I feel your pain on yr moving front Trix. We need to move, but no way we can afford to!

iwasabrooker · 03/12/2014 11:58

Nope far, that sounds familiar but wasn't me. :) will pm you!

It was only 11 months for no 2 for us. (he is very noisily eating his lunch as we speak) .

Sorry about early BFN. So hard not to test though.

This was the only time I ever didn't test early, due to extreme Shock at somehow getting updiffed without extreme charting behaviour and obsessing. It was not what I was expecting!

Imps9 · 03/12/2014 15:17

Oh Far send that pee stick to me and I will punch it in the face! (although I may put a glove on first considering that you've weed on it) Sorry you're feeling deflated - there is simply no other way to feel sometimes. It ain't over until the fat lady sings and I really hope the disappearing of symptoms is just your disappointed imagination taking over.

I'm up at 4:30pm today - will report back later. I'm quite excited - is that sad?! I know it will be a while yet before we can start anything, but it's always nice to have a plan of action plus I get to leave work early

Boooo to the expense of moving house Cartoon and Maybe - it involves is far too much money whether you're renting or buying. Life will find a way though so don't feel despondent.

Imps9 · 03/12/2014 17:39

It's 5.38... still waitin for the 4.30 appt. Bit bored now.

Imps9 · 03/12/2014 17:40

Ooooh I was wrong - it was actually 5.39 when I posted that.
