Here, we go, nice new thread.
Might be helpful to have some stats so we know where we all are?

I will start, farfallarocks - TTC#2, cycle 11. 1st brooking baby DD, 21 months. Investigations reveal high FSH and potentially starting IVF.

It 'should' be perfect viewing, it's just that A thinks it's good viewing too, and doesn't go to sleep Wink

Do you know what you want to do Keep?

Solars · 27/09/2014 10:58

Hello lovelies, hope everyone is well esp Imps

I was on Blue Peter because our school made these huge puppets for a local event and they asked us to come on the show as there were about 4 or 5 of us operating 1 puppet, I was about 11! It was really exciting and yes we got a badge too which I still have. What were your badges for Imps?

Have you started looking for work yet Keep? I didn't have a maternity leave, I only stopped working for DH for a month but lucky for me what I do is quite simple which suits working around A.

By the way Maybe where did you get that triangular activity toy I saw on your tv appearance? A friend of mine had one but it was given to her and A quite liked playing on it and I can't find it anywhere!

Solars · 27/09/2014 11:02

Forgot to add A is much better thanks Maybe, still a bit of a slight runny nose but not much you can do about that. How is your A doing?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 27/09/2014 11:59

Glad A is better Solars. That you was handed down to us! I can try and find out where it came from though, A loves it!!

keepitgoing · 27/09/2014 14:34

working since 1m solars Shock Shock Shock

maybe same as before, nhs mngt. I had a short term contract after we got back from abroad before I had kip but no substantive post. mrkeep is going part time in Feb to look after her - he's vv excited- so that's my deadline

Imps9 · 27/09/2014 17:23

Good day to you, lovelies! Glad there was muchos SCD enjoyment last night - and even better that it's on tonight too. Get to watch the delightful Kevin from Grimsby shake his thang at last even if it is with that wench from the Saturdays

I love that Mr Keep is going to go part time Keep! Have you seen many opportunities or is it too early?

Ahhh, Solars, I'm glad you asked about the Blue Peter badges. My green one was awarded after I wrote to them with my idea of using egg boxes to plant seeds in (I know - revolutionary, huh?). Sadly, I cannot for the life of me remember what the normal one was for. Some inane letter about a dull idea or activity, I assume.

I am very well today, thank you for asking. Had a lovely shopping trip and lunch out with a friend (although didn't find a sodding thing to buy). Mr Imps is out visiting other friends and I will catch up with them all for lunch tomorrow.

Still bleeding quite a lot - am pleased at the amount of blood actually - I know that sounds weird, but hopefully it doesn't mean that I've got thin lining issues or anything like that. I'm a bit surprised that I've been quite so chipper since I mc'd, but I think I did all of my crying on Tuesday (the day I saw the GP) when I just knew it was over.

What are your plants for tomorrow everyone?

Imps9 · 27/09/2014 17:28

(p.s. Boo - I hope you liked the way that I ignored your confession about having a soft spot for Gregg Wallace. What is wrong with you?? Shock Grin)

DinoSnores · 27/09/2014 17:28

My plans for tomorrow are pretty much to have a baby, but the baby doesn't seem to be agreeing with this.

Really painful regular contractions yesterday afternoon which all came to nothing after a bath. [humphy face]

Imps9 · 27/09/2014 17:28

Good plan Dino. I like it.

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 27/09/2014 17:45

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 28/09/2014 22:17

Imps9 · 29/09/2014 07:53

Ooooh I think I've got it- you and DH are Pixie and Trent aren't you Pasta??

Happy Monday everyone. Is it Friday yet?

farfallarocks · 29/09/2014 12:43

imps I am so sorry to hear that its definitely over and your attitude is so amazing, you and Mr Imps are clearly solid as a rock and that can only be a great thing! Its great you won't need any medical intervention and can crack on with IVF without any delay. Still, have a nice hug from me, its a horrible experience.

maybe check you out!! Very impressive indeed. The issue of IVF funding makes me so cross, I honestly think its a mental health issue, infertility can be agony and there many more things I would cut before that. I know we have limited resources but where do you draw the line? Obesity? smokers? Drunks in A&E? I have got into many a scrap on AIBU on this subject!

Had a lovely weekend and AF turned up at last, was actually beginning to get worried, 5 days late!! Grrrr. Well at least I can start the monitoring cycle and get this ball rolling!

OP posts:
Imps9 · 29/09/2014 13:42

Hurrah for a monitoring cycle Far! This is the month for a FUFC BFP. I am brooking no argument about that.

We were copied in on a letter from the clinic to the consultant at the hospital requesting a copy of Mr I's sperm analysis so they can arrange an appointment. Nice to know things are moving! Also got my appointment letter through for 12-week dating scan which was less nice, but it didn't completely floor me so that's good.

No news, but I have been beaten to it by both Holly Willoughby and Josie Cunningham. (I always time my due dates to coincide with D list celebrities!)
