What did you do on Blue Peter Solars?

And of course - isn't Mr Maybe famous too Maybe? His back was on tv wasn't it?

cartoontrickster · 26/09/2014 09:15

well I feel like a very boring normal person, never even been on the radio!
I'm dying to know who dino is!
any movement dino?
imps how are things this morning? are you still able to go to the epu to be checked over?

keepitgoing · 26/09/2014 09:27

I've seen it now maybe great job! a is so yummy

imps good luck at the epu

trix I'm boring too. dino is super duper mega famous Wink

NoMaybeAboutIt · 26/09/2014 09:29

Well remembered Imps, MrM was indeed on 'The Tube'! That's really interesting reading. I'm going to write to them! Sounds like you and MrI had a great evening. You two are amazing.

Is everything ok Dino? I saw your FB post.

Solars, sounds like you're having an amazing time! Is A better now?

Even under the old funding, the NHS only pays until you have a baby, so would always have had to pay for frosties. Ironically, the week we had A, the bill for next years storage came through Wink

NoMaybeAboutIt · 26/09/2014 09:30

Thanks Keep, she is lovely, even with a cold!

Imps9 · 26/09/2014 11:14

Aah, I forgot to mention - I called the EPU last night and they said that there's no need to go in unless I really want to, or I bleed very very heavily, or if I have a lot of unusual pain. None of those things apply to me so I will give the GP a call on Monday (missed the slot now, durrr) and update my medical records and then that should be it.

Hopefully the bleeding will stop soon so that I can get back to long baths (not recommended) and the sex (more importantly) Wink

Hope all's going okay Dino - any real contractions?

DinoSnores · 26/09/2014 11:25

maybe, well done. Just caught up on it. Isn't A a real sweetie?! Going from 3 cycles to no cycles is pretty surprising and harsh.

trix, I have sent you a PM. To be honest, as imps says, I was a bit disappointed not to have at least been nominated for an Oscar after it, but, you know, it is good to stay humble. That's why I hang around here! Wink

I was discharged this morning with an active wriggly baby. The consultant was very reassuring and is happy for all to continue as planned without any induction unless I am post-dates or after another episode.

solars, what did you do on Blue Peter? Does that mean that you have a Blue Peter badge?! Amazing!

imps, glad you are doing well and hope that the bleeding stops soon. Tell us about your time on the Big Breakfast. Who knew that we were such a bunch of celebrities around here?!

Imps9 · 26/09/2014 11:30

Can I just say that I have two Blue Peter badges? A normal one and a green one. Yep. That's right. I'm kind of a big deal.

cartoontrickster · 26/09/2014 11:34

wow dino we are not worthy!
imps fingers crossed the bleeding doesn't last long so the sex can resume

NoMaybeAboutIt · 26/09/2014 11:35

So pleased you're ok Dino!! Not long now Smile

Hang on, how did I miss the big breakfast and blue peter appearances?! More details!!!

Thanks for all your kind words brookers. I really didn't want to do it yesterday, but they persuaded me. I am pleased I did now. I'm just so angry for couples here, and so very grateful for A

Pastamancer · 26/09/2014 13:28

Dino I fear that you missed out due to being upstaged by the tap. Shocking decision by the Oscar people though.

Maybe I haven't had a chance to watch it yet but am sure you were fab.

Imps I can't believe how well you are dealing with things. It is so unfair

Imps9 · 26/09/2014 14:53

Maybe I've just had a brilliant idea - can keep your house but rent it out, and then rent a bigger one to live in?? You don't necessarily need to live in the house you own and if you have more space (but without a bigger mortgage/expenses of house selling/buying that may enable you to get on with the frosties! You can then buy somewhere bigger if you want to in a few years time.

Damn, I'm good.

Imps9 · 26/09/2014 14:53

Oops I missed a ) in my post above. I think it was the excitement of having had such an awesome idea.

Imps9 · 26/09/2014 15:15

I also missed several words in my last-but-one post Hmm. I really was excited about my idea.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 26/09/2014 15:26

Oh Imps, I love you!! Rental market here is mad, the rent would be the same as a mortgage. We have made enough on the flat for a deposit (hopefully) but it's the monthly outgoings now I'm not going back to work. We are considering a new development being built soon though. It launches tomorrow so will go and have a chat. I think MrM is considering doing interest free for a bit. But I'm not sure. I think he's getting too excited and don't want him to be sad if it doesn't work out Sad

Imps9 · 26/09/2014 15:32

If you don't buy somewhere for the moment though you'll save stamp duty, estate agents fees, solicitors fees etc. And is there any chance you could rent your house out for a profit (i.e the rent coming in being more than the mortgage payments going out)? Just a brilliant idea thought!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 26/09/2014 17:51

But we wouldn't be able to afford the monthly payments, where as with the interest only mortgage, we may be able to scrape it together. The rent on our place would get us more than the mortgage, but I'm a 'by the book' kinda girl, so would have to change the mortgage and declare it.

You are full of good ideas though lovely. You can help me decide what business im going to set up Grin

Imps9 · 26/09/2014 18:17

Well, obvs, you should set up a baking/knitting business. A winning combo!

keepitgoing · 26/09/2014 19:52
