bananatoast looks like something to me, but best crack out the big (expensive) guns for sure. How exciting!!

Does anyone have an opinion on this morning's wee stick? I will trot down to Boots in an hour for some decent tests....

bluesky that's what I've got. It feels like ov pains but I can't be. I haven't a clue what it is. It's sometime a dull ache like period pain and sometimes twitching and mini stabs on my right side. my lower back is also killing me.

I don't think I've ever had this since ttc. I don't normally get AF cramps until about 10/11dpo.

lucie those vits played havoc with my cycle so I binned them.

lucieloos · 13/08/2014 10:57

DH and I have decided that if I don't get my bfp next week then we are going to book in for some tests. I've found a private clinic which will do an AMH test to count number of eggs left, pelvic scan, sperm analysis and also a consultation for £200. I'm really nervous in case there is a problem and didn't want to have to go down this route. I wanted that lovely surprise of getting a bfp naturally but best to get things checked out I suppose. Crossing everything for a bfp next week now.

KittyVonCatsington · 13/08/2014 12:05

Banana That looks like a proper line to me too!

Congrats Wiggly

Welcome Fifi

I feel bleurgh! Still blood when I wipe and I feel so so sick. If it is ovulation spotting, I'm still pissed off as I won't be able to DTD (poor DH!) and so this will have been another wasted cycle that was going so well. I do feel that to get it on the same dpo as last month but on no other cycle in nearly a year, something is not right with my body. Sad

EnglishGirlsReturned · 13/08/2014 12:54

Kitty have you been to the drs? If I was you I'd go and just explain the situation and how since your mc your cycle has been out of whack. Hope it's nothing to worry about hun. It's one thing after another, wish you (and I) were one of the lucky ones who got upduffed simply by looking at DH.

Natalie1989xo · 13/08/2014 13:03

Ladies, AF due approx 22nd/23rd August.

I wasn't symptom spotting (much).

My boobs ache sooo much today. Never something i get with AF due so can't help but think it's a symptom? But isn't it a tad early?
My tell tale pregnancy symptoms are achy boobs, gas TMI, and rising early to pee! all of which have started in the last few days!

Ovia app says 9 days to test. Thoughts anyone?

BananaToast · 13/08/2014 13:04

Oh no don't say that I'll get excited again! Still spotting slightly but no proper AF - but this is usually how I am before it arrives so it seems like it's on it's way. Will def test again tomorrow though!

MustBeDueSomeBetterFeet · 13/08/2014 13:20

Kitty - it does sound like it's worth mentioning it to a GP. Just for your own peace of mind if nothing else.

Natalie - how many dpo are you? If you've implanted there is definitely a chance you'd start to feel something.

So... I went and got a FRER and BFP!!!

"Today I am pregnant!""

Good luck everyone, I really hope for lots more BFPs on the August bus.

JaneyTea · 13/08/2014 13:35

Woohoo! The August bus seems to be doing really well at the moment. Congratulations MustBeDueSomeBetterFeet , excellent news. Grin

BananaToast · 13/08/2014 13:36

Congrats MustBe!

Just snuck off to Boots on my lunch and bought a FRER for tomorrow.

jazzyjenbo · 13/08/2014 13:38

Congrats must be x

MustBeDueSomeBetterFeet · 13/08/2014 13:41

FX for you bananatoast

Natalie1989xo · 13/08/2014 13:59

MustBe - I have no idea, I have been using ovia app to track but i haven't done ovulation tests or tracked my temp. I have short cycles so possible only a few dpo. I really don't know, the app suggests I am 4dpo but that may not be accurate.

Confused
Nordicmom · 13/08/2014 14:04

I think I'll hop on the sep bus next . I think we've decided to not do this cycle so I won't suffer again on next weeks holiday in Finland while seeing my family like I did in Turkey . I was tempted but my head won . I want to concentrate on enjoying spending time with my family and my existing kids ! Good luck to those still waiting here and congrats on the bfps so far . Sorry to those AF got .

KittyVonCatsington · 13/08/2014 14:15

Thanks ladies. Will book appt with female doc after France holiday. Will focus on DH now he is in surgery now and holiday next week. Just feel so down today after happiness from yesterday.

Congratulations on the bfp must

Treaclepie19 · 13/08/2014 14:34

gennibugs · 13/08/2014 14:35

Nordicmom · 13/08/2014 14:44

Hugs kitty ! Hope you'll have a nice holiday

WigglyBraddins · 13/08/2014 14:51

Congratulations must, Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months.

SurreyBunny · 13/08/2014 16:49

Wow lucieloos that seems a great price - I've found similar for around £500 but that's in London. Where is that if you don't mind sharing?

ChandlersFarang · 13/08/2014 16:52

Congrats Must & Wiggly!! GrinGrin

Kitty your poor DH! Was this injury cricket-related? And am I being cheeky to say he doesn't need a functioning wrist to DTD - ha! Being in surgery is probably a bit of a barrier though, to be fair to him. I wish him a speedy recovery! And yes, make sure you don't go and see that chauvinist bastard doctor you got lumped with the last time. A lovely understanding lady is what you need now I think, if that can be arranged?

gennibugs · 13/08/2014 17:02

I'd be interested to know too lucie, the one we are thinking of booking for next cycle is about £500 too (central London prices maybe)

I am symptom spotting like crazy! Someone slap me! Grin

lucieloos · 13/08/2014 17:13

Hi Surrey and Genni, it's at CRGW in South Wales. They are meant to very good there. One of my friends had ivf through them and had twins on first try. Maybe worth a nice little weekend away for you Wink

SurreyBunny · 13/08/2014 17:21

Hi genni I did actually find this one on Groupon Harley Street which is £359 for both although it doesn't go into a lot of detail so I may email them and check to see what is exactly included for that price.

Thanks lucie I really hope you get your BFP and don't need it!!

Katybear123 · 13/08/2014 17:25
