Here is the amazon link:

I've ordered it today as today is 12th month of trying after having AF. Has anyone used it or interested in using it? I like how it works it all out for you as I don't want to spend all that time stressing over learning how to chart myself. You poas when it tells you and insert the stick into the machine and it interprets it for you. Gives you a few high chance days and then the lh surge days. Measures oestrogen and lh. Also can test for pregnancy. You can input when you dtd too and a light and alarm can remind you.

I really like gadgets and technology anyway. If it works I don't care how much it costs. Anyone have any experience with it already? I don't think it's been put long.

Thanks guys Smile. Still in absolute shock as this was our first month of trying. Have just done a clearblue digital test and it has come up with 'pregnant 1-2 weeks'. So v early days but I think 3 tests confirm it! Would recommend sticking with monitor - without it, I would have assumed ovulation at CD13/14/15 - would never have thought CD20. Thought my machine was on the blink. X

croon979 · 01/10/2014 16:12

Congratulations to you too pieand mashed!

Katybear123 · 01/10/2014 19:16

Thanks pie and mash and croon congrats. Cd 5 here I think af is now buggering off. I am opsonise tired today if I hadn't had af I would swear I was preg, but here is to another month of trying hopefully month 2 on cbfm will b the one xx

Foxtrot7459 · 01/10/2014 19:54

Congrats croon can you give us your stats of when/how many high readings and on what days you dtd please??

Day 19 and yet another high - got peak at day 20 last month so fingers crossed for tomorrow!

So far dtd 11,13,15 and 18

newbie6 · 01/10/2014 21:02

Hi all,

Congrats to the BFP's, v jealous!!!!

Wanted to pass on some advice my homeopathic doc gave me in case it helps, she said to DTD every other day from day 10 to day 20 of your cycle to maximise your chances? This only works for women with regular cycles but if I'm not preggars this month am def going to try it!

X

Katybear123 · 01/10/2014 22:04

Hey newbie, interesting do u go by the cbfm or ignore and go eod?

NowWhatSoWhat · 01/10/2014 22:57

congrats on the bfps! It gives me hope. I'm on cd38 (recently have been 36 day cycles ) but tested negative twice so not optimistic for this month. Hoping the cbfm will work for me next month. My 19 consecutive high days was pointless. I bought this to have less sex! (oh god that looks awful written down)

Katybear123 · 02/10/2014 09:18

I am with you now re the less sex. The monitor worked for me last month re highs and peaks, but sadly no bfp yet. Hoping it works again this month and the swimmers get there

newbie6 · 02/10/2014 10:25

Hi

I'm using the monitor but so far no luck so if not preggars this month am going to try the every other day plan from day 10 to day 20 although have to say the thought of all that sex is not appealing! How bad is that, an just too tired!! X

croon979 · 02/10/2014 20:10

Thanks Foxtrot, sure! Just checked on my monitor my readings/bd diary were:

Monitor requested sticks from day 10 - 21

CD10 - low
CD11 - low
CD12 - low
CD13 - low
CD14 - high
CD15 - high - BD (evening)
CD16 - high - BD (evening)
CD17 - high
CD18 - high - BD (morning)
CD19- peak!
CD20 - peak - BD (afternoon)
CD21 - high
CD22 - low
CD23 - low - nipples on high-beam
CD24 - low - nipples on high-beam
CD25 - low - fluttering in stomach, nipples on high-beam and bit sore
CD26 - low - sore nipples
CD27 - low - brief sharp pains, sore and hard nipples
CD28 - earliest that AF due, no AF - implantation discharge - test BFN
CD29 - implantation discharge, nipples much better
CD30 - pregnancy test BFN
CD31 - latest that AF would be due - pregnancy test BFP on monitor and Clearblue Digital and Tesco test!!!
CD32 - more discharge, second Tesco test, still BFP!

Hope this helps. I was frantically searching the internet for similar information on symptoms, late ovulation, monitor info....if I ovulated on second peak day then I was DPO11 when I got BFP. If I ovulated later, I was DPO or less. xx

croon979 · 02/10/2014 20:12

Every other day plan makes sense Newbie. That is what I was told. Regular sex but not necessarily every day is the way forward x

Foxtrot7459 · 03/10/2014 08:17

Thanks croon very detailed!

Cd21 here and yet another high - I posted a pic of my sticks on another thread and I may have ovulated around day 16 and CBFM missed it - I hope so as fed up of dtd this month Blush, will continue testing though in case the peak is still yet to come. If I did ovulate on cd16 hopefully we have it covered as we dtd cd11,13,15,18(am) and 21(am).

Won't see DH until Sunday afternoon now so almost hoping the peak doesn't come.

newbie6 · 03/10/2014 09:37

OMG, just did a FRER and have a very strong BFP!!!!!!

Still v early days so trying not to get too excited but cannot believe it! Have NO symptoms so maybe that was the sign for this month?!

Good luck all!!!!

X

Whatamuddleduck · 03/10/2014 09:44

Congratulations newbie! That's lovely news x

Af arrived this morning, just at the moment cbfm was reading a pg test. So the bfn was no surprise. Ho hum, onwards to cycle 4. Timings wise I either had a shorter than usual lp or I ov'd a couple of days before cbfm thought I did. All the signs happened a couple of days before I got a peak so I'm not sure. More dtd next month I think- maybe that will do it. DP works away during the week so just dtd as much as possible when he's here will be the plan.

chundercatsarego · 03/10/2014 11:39

Wow! Turning into a lucky thread! Fingers crossed for everyone else and sorry to this who AF has got.

Katybear123 · 04/10/2014 10:34

Congrats newbie and croon great stats. Cd8 here and cbfm wants stick from tomoz. Newbie and croon when did u time dtd using the cbfm?

Katybear123 · 04/10/2014 10:35

Quick q croon what is bd? Is that when u dtd?

newbie6 · 04/10/2014 11:23

Hi

I DTD on my high day and my peak day, so twice in total, normally I get a couple of highs but this time I just got one before getting a peak. Xx

croon979 · 04/10/2014 16:16

Hello BD = Baby Dance so same as DTD!

Katybear123 · 05/10/2014 15:20

Thanks newbie and croon, interesting that I think u have both done what I plan to do this month. I think I ovulated before my monitor gave me a peak I reckon it caught the end of my ovulation so defo going to try to dtd the day before my peak spas summing my cycle is same length this month!

NowWhatSoWhat · 06/10/2014 07:49

AF arrived 6 days late. Back to day 1 for me. Wished I had stayed regular so the monitor had a better chance of sussing my cycle out. Also it would have saved me from myself and my thinking, hoping, wishing I was late because I was pg. Anyway, guess I better order some sticks and set up a new cycle.

croon979 · 06/10/2014 09:31

Sorry to hear that NowWhatSoWhat - if it is any help, the first month that I had the monitor I just used it to get used to my cycle as hubby was away a lot so I didn't have much of a chance for a BFP then. I only got high readings that month and had them for 19 days too. However, the second month with the monitor it had me sussed and found my peak days. I still think that the monitor is amazing and will help most people conceive unless there are underlying issues.

NowWhatSoWhat · 06/10/2014 18:19

Thanks croon. My day 1 AF cramps are subsiding so I'm feeling more positive especially reading your message. Sorry if this is already mentioned but do you all buy your sticks on amazon or are there other reputable places to check out? tia

Katybear123 · 06/10/2014 18:41

Amazon for meGrin. Quick q of my own here. I always have to get up to pea in the night so save in pot till am. However recently I've not been sleeping well getting up twice + in the night so never sure when to take wee from. Anyone else has this?

NowWhatSoWhat · 06/10/2014 19:49

Yes, I've had this occasionally re poor sleep. To be honest I just try to use the one that's been 'held' the longest of that applies but I don't sweat / overthink it too much because it would end up keeping me awake even more Grin Grin
